Skylar is of average height and slim build. She has long purple hair and light blue eyes. She wears a pair of white short-shorts with black lining. She also sports a pair of red ring tattoos on her upper right arm, wrapping all the way around her arm. She wears a belt-like device around her waist that holds her weapon, and normally wears a pair of plain sneakers as well. Here is a picture of her at the Vytal Festival.
History:
Skylar was born to a conservative middle-class family. For the first half of her life, she was very sheltered and her family tried to school her to become a businesswoman. Skylar, however, was a free spirit, and consistently resisted her family’s wishes. She led a privileged and easy life, but was uneasy with it. She dreamt of being free from her family and travelling the world. At the age of twelve, Skylar ran away from home and attended Signal, where she learned how to fight and defend herself. It was here she discovered her semblance and subsequently massive amount of aura, so she incorporated these into her fighting style. She applied and was accepted to Beacon, where she hopes to learn to better hone her skills and potentially find a career in becoming a huntress.
Personality:
Skylar has a very upbeat and positive attitude almost all the time. She is very outgoing, adventurous, and fun-loving. She loves her freedom, and has a hard time taking orders from anyone. She is easy going, and simply loves to have a good time. However, she did discover a little later in life that she suffers from minor androphobia; the fear of males. She doesn't know why she does, but when she is alone or in a confined area with only males, she becomes incredibly nervous. She begins to shake and her mouth becomes dry, only stopping when she gets out of the situation, or if a girl enters the room. Other than that, she is very kind-hearted in that she doesn’t use any more force than is absolutely necessary in a fight, and will avoid killing other people as much as she can. When it comes to Grim, though, there is no hesitation in her attacks.
Strength:
She has an immense amount of aura, which she has grown to be able to use very skillfully. She is strong and agile, allowing her to be very effective during a one-on-one fight.
Weakness:
She has trouble facing multiple enemies, her fighting style more focused on taking on enemies 1 on 1 or 2 on 2. She also becomes very emotionally invested in her fights, sometimes leading to her making rash decisions.
Semblance:
Skylar is able to activate a state called “Hikari” in which her hair and eyes glow bright white, and she is able to wield her aura like a weapon. The Hikari gives Skylar has three inner “gates”, and opening each one gives more power to the Hikari than the last. These gates can be opened by Skylar’s will, with exception to the third gate, but emotional or physical strain can open the gates without Skylar willingly trying to open them.

Gate of the Body: This is the first stage of the Hikari. Opening this gate allows her to extend her aura beyond her own body, as long as it is still connected. She can use this to fashion her aura into solid shapes, such as weapons or shields, as well as extend it along her own weapon. After opening this gate, Skylar may feel more tired than normal, but she can use this power relatively easily.

Gate of the Mind: The second stage of the Hikari. This gives her the power to detach her aura from her physical body and manipulate it, most commonly in the form of white flames. This allows her to make ranged attacks using her aura, as well as have an elastic defense mechanism. After opening this gate, Skylar can feel very tired, and her whole body will be physically exhausted.

Gate of the Soul: The third, final, and most potent stage of the Hikari. For this gate to open, Skylar needs to be in immense emotional turmoil or physical duress, and cannot be opened under normal circumstances. If she comes under particularly intense amounts of stress, she can lose control, and go into what could be described as a "berserker" state, attacking anything and everything she can reach. In this stage, the white flames (her aura) close around her and create a suit of armour slightly larger than herself. She can also emit waves of aura from her body, pushing back objects or enemies. She can only maintain this power for a short amount of time before risking serious physical damage or even death, and will most likely lose consciousness after using it.

Primary Form:
Colère‘s primary form is a small metal cylinder that Skylar attaches to her hip via a small device. At the press of a button, a five-foot long staff telescopes out of the cylinder. The staff itself is plain, but sturdy, and is of even thickness throughout. The staff is spring loaded, so she has to push it back into its cylindrical form manually. The staff is aura-resonant, meaning that Skylar can project her power through it, and she doesn’t necessarily have to be using the Hikari to do so.
History:
She experimented with different weapons, but didn’t feel comfortable with lethal weapons such as swords or firearms. She decided on a staff, as it felt more natural to her, and she could choose whether or not her blows were meant to kill. She made the weapon herself while she attended Signal, and she has used it ever since.
