Standing at 5'11 Mino has a slender physique and light, soft blonde hair. In place of normal human ears she instead has equine ears. When in combat she wears a blue combat dress with a metal breastplate, two metal gauntlets and two sheets of metal running along the side of the long skirt. While outside of combat she wears a dress normally obscured by her armor.
History: Mino is the bastard daughter of a human nobleman and his Faunus lover. When Mino was born her father's family disapproved of having a Faunus in the family and told him that he would have to abandon his wife and daughter or else he would be disowned. Mino's father chose to stay with his wife and daughter and he was then disowned by his wealthy family. In order to make a living Mino's father was forced to become a minor hunter and hunt smaller animals even though he had very little combat practice. Because of his job Mino's father became very adept at using a crossbow and because of this he has taught Mino nearly all she knows about archery. When Mino was 7 her father went out on a hunting trip and never returned, he was allegedly killed by Grimm. His crossbow was the only thing that was recovered.
Now that Mino's family had no source of income her mother needed to find a job. She got a job as a security officer for a dust corporation and this meant that Mino spent a lot of time alone when she got home from school and would have to learn to cook her own meals. At the age of 11 Mino started dedicating her life becoming a huntress in order to prevent people from suffering like she did when her father died. Mino did well knowledge-wise in school but she couldn't fight very well, she fared just fine when it came to a ranged battle and using a crossbow, but whenever there was a close ranged battle she would always lose and the reason to this was that she had a very weak aura that couldn't protect her from any blows she would receive while training. Mino managed to get accepted into Beacon Academy but she only just made it. Two weeks before she would be heading to Beacon her mother was killed during a heist at the dust storing facility she worked at, once again the only thing that they retrieved was her mothers sword. The officials decided that Mino would still go to Beacon but would stay at an Orphanage until then. Mino wanted to become a huntress even more now then ever so that she can stop crime from happening and protect people from not only Grimm but also themselves.
Mino used the knowledge she had about weapons to forge her mothers sword and her fathers crossbow together to create a fusion weapon that she would wield as she attended Beacon and hopefully when she became a huntress.
Personality: Since Mino spent a large amount of her time alone she has become a very quiet and contemplative individual who is always spacing out. This can lead to her momentarily forgetting where she is and what she is doing making her also a very clumsy and forgetful person. The death of her parents has caused her to be a very antisocial person that is slow to warm up to others, she fears that those who become close friends with her will also be ripped away from her. Mino is very protective of those that do manage to become her friend and would step in dangers way to protect one of her closest friends.
She loves candy (But she doesn't know that yet.) and it acts like alcohol to her, revealing another side of her that is much more playful and friendly than her normal self. The more sugar she consumes the more playful and relaxed she becomes. She also fights in a much riskier fashion when sugar-drunk which is normally a disadvantage for her as she cannot take many hits due to her weak aura and is unable to aim with her normal accuracy, although she does become much faster and more agile while sugar-drunk. She is easily angered when the subject of her parents is brought up and how she is a bastard child, making it possible to put her in a blind rage where she would become an easy opponent. She has a deep hatred for wealthy nobles.
Strength: Amazing accuracy and precision with the crossbow form of her weapon.

Semblance:Mino's semblance is that she can control the velocity of things that are within 8 inches away from her, but it is not strong enough to stop her from being dealt a blow. The most common thing she uses this for is to increase the velocity of her crossbow bolts causing them to fly just as fast and far as bullets and making them do significantly more damage then they normally would. She can also jump farther because of this and is able to put more force into her sword attacks.
WEAPONName: Dam and Sire
Primary Form: Mino's weapon's primary form is called sire. It is a crossbow that has sword blades that construct the limbs of the weapon. The string is made of a highly elastic, strong material that prevents it from getting cut by the blade. It has a collapsible scope. the barrel of the crossbow is a horizontal blade, but the foregrip is half of the weapons grip when in sword form. The stock is what forms the cross-guard while in sword form. When combined with Mino's semblance it is capable of firing just as fast and far as a sniper rifle. Sire has limited ammo.
Secondary Form: The secondary form is called Dam and is in the form of a one-handed longsword. Although Dam is a one-handed sword Mino wields it with both of her hands to compensate for her lack of strength, but she can use one hand it is just harder for her to hold straight and she has less force behind her attacks.
History: Dam and Sire was created when Mino combined the two weapons of her deceased parents into a fusion weapon. The crossbow form (Sire) is made with her father's crossbow which was the only thing recovered when he disappeared when Mino was a child. The sword form (Dam) is made with her mothers sword which was also the only thing recovered when her mother was killed.
