Riccardo stands at 6'1'' and weighs 185 pounds. He has blue eyes, black hair and tan skin. In combat he wears the armor in the picture. In his off time he prefers to wear dark blue jeans and a olive polo with brown shoes.

History:
Riccardo grew up in a small town and was raised by his parents almost from birth to be a huntsman. His mother, Adelaide, was a graduate of Beacon and a skilled Huntress in her own right. Seeing her battling against the grim that threatened their homes, he was inspired to take up the sword as soon as he was able. His father, Elia, was the town healer and moral compass growing up teaching him to take pride in his work and remain loyal to friends. Growing up he spent much time in his father’s office and spoke to the people who went there to learn much about the outside world when he wasn’t in the woods around town training with Adelaide. This busy lifestyle unfortunately did not offer him much time to socialize with people his own age. He left his home for Sigil when he was 14 and with him he carried a lighter his father gave to him as a small gift as well as his father’s taste for coffee. However when he first went off to Signal he excelled in combat but struggled in classes as growing up he did not have as much of a formal education as others except for the lessons his father gave him when he was not training. Still despite this he pulled through and graduated to beacon.

Personality:
Riccardo is very confident and forward when dealing with older people but not so much when speaking to others his own age. His parents highly emphasized virtues of loyalty and honor when he was young making him embrace these qualities fully. In combat he is brave and sometimes quite reckless. In private he is very proper and well mannered. He has a hard time studying however and his pride can make him easy to goad into confrontation.

Strengths:
Riccardo was taught from an early age by his mother, a huntress herself, to fight and is no stranger to combat. He has built up his strength considerably and can take a large amount of damage both from his semblance absorbing some kinetic energy and his heavy armor. He is well suited in combat with his shield and sword and finds his best in close combat with an aggressive strategy to overpower opponents with powerful strikes and knocking them off balance with shield bashes. His parents also emphasized bravery and loyalty in his upbringing giving him high standards that he holds himself to. He is unwilling to leave or betray friends.

Weaknesses:
With heavy weapons and armor comes a weakness to more agile and faster enemies. Emphasis of his style on powerful strikes can leave a large window of opportunity for faster enemies to attack or outflank him. As a result he prefers to finish engagements swiftly as even with kinetic energy assisting him he can become fatigued if a battle drags out too long. Also, he is not fond of long range combat and is not as skilled with his railgun function as his sword and shield. His Railgun when he uses it would take a while to set up leaving him vulnerable to attack. Emotionally he is very prideful and can be provoked into combat. Sometimes loyalty can also get in the way of his better judgement.

Semblance:
Kinect Redirect. When Riccardo is in combat, he can use his semblance to absorb energy from impacts to his body, shield, and sword and store it as potential energy to be unleashed in battle and as a consequence soften blows. With the energy stored he can unleash it and redirect it to specific parts of his body to perform better in battle for a short while adding more force to his attacks or helping him move around. The effect is greater and lasts longer depending on how much energy he has absorbed. The downside of this is that he has to sustain impacts to gain energy which still hurt him even if the impact is dulled. Storing too much energy without releasing it can also become dangerous as the extra energy may raise his vitals to critical levels and cause him to overheat and pass out. He can tell when he nears his limit if he's sweating profusely, becoming dizzy, and becoming nauseous.

Priwen and Carnwennan

Primary Form:
Priwen is a long metal kite shield bearing Riccardo’s symbol strapped with a metal restrain to Riccardo’s left arm. Priwen has a slot at the top to facilitate its second form. Carnwennan is a long sword with a gold pommel and large guard with a black grip. The guard is extended on both sides to allow grasping it.

Secondary Form:
Riccardo can slide Carnwennan into slot at the top of Priwen to activate its second form. The metal guard rotates allowing the shield’s point to run parallel to his arm as opposed to perpendicular in its normal state and pops out a handle to hold it with the right hand with a squeeze trigger. The blade splits in half to real a barrel running its length of priwen. The sword and shield becomes a heavy rifle. The guard on the hilt is pulled back to load the dust crystal from a belt pouch and closed again to lock the chamber to fire. The rounds can only be loaded one at a time. To switch back he needs to reach to his forearm, grab the hilt of Carnwennan, and turn the shield back to its parallel position to lock the sword back up and separate it from the shield.

History:
Both the sword and shield his mother helped him craft. He has trained with it since he was tall enough to wield it properly, relying on smaller scale training weapons until then.

Alright, there's only a few things I've noticed here.

As for appearance, pictures are fine, but you should also have a written description of they character as well, including physical description, facial features and anything you relate to appearance.

As for the semblance, I'm iffy but have no real input and I will leave it to another reviewer.

And last of all, the weapon. I'm going to completely deny the second form which is the railgun. Railguns can fire at a top velocity of around 16,000 mph, and 20 times the speed of sound. I don't think it would be a viable weapon here, as it would be EXTREMELY overpowered considering the ease of use, and sheer power behind it.

okay, updated appearance and changed the railgun to a rifle. I had Akai's help this morning working out kinks in the semblance if that counts for anything.
