Name: Samuel Umbra

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Symbol: A pair of black tonfas facing opposite of each-other, forming an "S" shape. Stylized to have a shadowy effect.

Appearance: Just under 6 foot, weighing around 165lbs with a muscular build. Short black hair, brown eyes. Generally wears dark clothing. Most commonly black pants and shirt while casual. While on task, he wears boots, a black leather chest piece over his shirt, black leather gloves, and a black hood and facemask.

Personality: Quiet and calm. Able to keep his cool in a fight almost flawlessly. Down right terrible at most social situations, difficult to get to know, and to talk to at times.

History:Samuel never knew his family, they were either killed, or had abandoned him long before he could remember. Growing up on the streets, he learned an important lesson: Fight or die. Finding himself in street fights rather often,
he honed his skills, because without them, he might not live to see the next day. They started off small, some guy would try to bully him out of some bread and other similar things.
When he started fighting back against it, he found he had a talent for fighting. Before long rumors about him spread causing others to come challenge him. Few were able to best him in a fair fight.
The lucky few he fought would walk away some serious bruising, most would walk away with a few broken bones, some would never walk away at all.
Eventually, the city he lived in was attacked by the Grimm. One of the beasts, albeit a weaker one, found its was to him and his friends. It ambushed them, killing all of his friends. Although, Not without being injured.
The beast came charging at him, and enraged by the death of his friends, he readied himself to fight. Not much can be remembered about that fight. The next thing he would be able to remember is standing over the corpse of the beast, fists covered in blood.

After discovering these beasts were something that needed to be taken care of, and something he was capable of fighting, he enrolled at signal, eventually making his way to Beacon

Strength: Close-quarters fighting, specializing into defense rather than offence, able to stay calm in a high stress environment. A higher than normal ability to recover/heal from his aura.

Weakness: Range combat. A weak defensive aura. Social interaction.

WEAPON

Name: Shadow's arm

Primary Form: A set of tonfas When held, they stretch from just past his elbow, to 6 inches past his fist.

Secondary Form/Function: An explosive contact ability, similar to Yang's gauntlets, from the long end of the tonfa, with a trigger on the handle. Generally used to boost a punch, although it can be used as a close-range shot.  Powered by dust, with containers held inside, below the handle of the tonfa.

History: When joining Signal, Samuel was told he needed a weapon, never having used a weapon, he designed Shadow's arm, using a weapon that would augment his skills, instead of having learn new ones.[/b]

Good start, but could you add a bit more to the appearance? What does he wear? What does he look like aside from height and hair color? Also, how big are his tonfas? Are they guns or a dust powered weapon?
