"Too bad, Keeb," he says. "This drek takes time, and the sooner we're both on the same page about that, the better. That being said..." He rolls his shoulders and twists his head, causing an audible crack. "You're a part of this team, which means I'll be covering your sorry rear and tanking when you're in a tight spot. That's the best you're going to get until you act with a bit more civility." He releases his hand form the foregrip, slinging the barrel over his shoulder. "Basic drek. 'Person to person' drek. Since we've both forgotten. Right?" He cocks an eyebrow, hoping the fauna would understand.

Yin heaved another heavy sigh, I suppose that might be a step in the right direction. As much as he hated it, he was forced to concede, "I suppose." He said, with no small amount of reluctance. He then realized that he had gotten him pretty good with Flare. He asked, "How's your back?" Trying desperately to keep the disdain out of his voice.

"It'll be fine," he replies, sighing. "And don't feign concern. Doesn't suit you." He shifts his weight, sizing the fauna up. "We worked well during initiation. We'll all need to refine ourselves to mesh together," he says, his mind pondering over how best to utilize the pool of resources. He eyes snap back at to fauna, shifting Zorro from his right arm to his left and extending his hand out. "Name's Dante, by the way." He offers a soft smile, but his tone is flat.

"Fair enough." Yin said. He normally wasn't the compassionate type anyway. He wasn't going to argue with that. Yin watched the other boy's face carefully as he held his hand out, but he saw nothing there that might betray a feeling of superiority, at least not outwardly. Yin firmly grasped Dante's hand, "Yin." He said simply.

Myren strode quickly into the arena, scanning around for his teammates. He saw them a short ways away, shaking hands, apparently having just finished a sparring match

"Good, they're getting along. thought i caught some tension back in the dorm room, but i guess it was nothing" He said to himself as he jogged over to the pair.

As he approached, he quickly placed his left fist on his right shoulder in a kind of salute. "I've been looking for you. we just got an assignment, have you checked your scrolls lately?" He says, pulling his own from a pouch on his belt.

"Charmed," was all he said to Yin, before Myren approached the two, apparently unaware of the events that just occurred.

"We've been a bit... preoccupied," he says, glancing over at Yin. "Mind filling us in?"

Myren hits a few buttons on his scroll, bringing up the details. "Seems there have been some disturbances in some nearby village. nothing major; some livestock killed, some minor property damage, things like that. they've asked Beacon to send someone to check it out, and that's going to be us. we'll be dropped off tomorrow, and given up to a week to find a resolution and make a report." He slides his scroll closed and looks up at his team. "also, due to miss Cercops' recent absences, we're being joined by another student for this job in order to round out  our numbers.
