Non Mammal Faunas

So here is where the discussion on whether or not there should be Non-mammal fauna. The two biggest pieces of evidence we have are as follows:

For non-mammal: The Term "Fauna" is, in reality, a general term for all animals.

Against non-mammal: We have only seen mammal fauna even the horned one's are goats/rams.

RP-Wise, Yes. We might even have custom species eventually.

Series Canon wise, probably not.

Both for and against non-mammals: We've only seen Cats (tiger), rabbit, goat (ram), and monkey faunus. Possibly an Ox faunus as well, which also coincides with the below.

This has led a few people, myself included, to suspect that the only faunus types are the 12 chinese zodiac animals.

While that does support snakes and dragons, it unfortunately wouldn't help you and your desire for a scorpion.

I hadn't heard the idea that the only faunus types are the 12 chinese zodiac animals, but that does sound pretty much exactly like something Monty Oum would do.

Other than that, I don't see much reason why there wouldn't be non-mammal faunus. By definition, they're pretty unrealistic anyway, so I don't necessarily see an issue with combining coldblooded and warmblooded creatures.

Combining coldblood and warmblooded would be a little odd wouldn't it? They'd have poor utility in cold environments, unless their clothes and equipment were pre-heated
