Appearance: Befitting her name, Jade has long green hair, often in a ponytail, and eyes of the same colour. She's a shorty, standing just a bit over 5 feet up from the ground, and is quite conscious of herself, tending to wear high heels or other footwear to make her seem taller. She wears a black battle dress with green pattern over it, which she prefers to wear instead of her uniform. She keeps her daggers in holsters, one on each side of her belt, mirroring the pattern of her dress.

History: Jade's had a pretty easy life. Born upper-middle class to a set of loving parents, she was rarely denied much. It was therefore quite a surprised when as an early teenager, she began falling ill often, locking herself in her room. Her parents were scared that she was depressed, being bullied, or maybe suffering from some other strange disorder, but things weren't quite that simple for her. Jade heard voices, but she wasn't sick, or at least she didn't think she was, because it wasn't like in the movies. She didn't hear strange people telling her what to do or talking about her. She heard the people around her, though it was nothing but an incoherent blabber of words to her. It was as if the entire world had shut her out, speaking to each other only in a language she couldn't understand.
It was the worst when her parents came to help her. They would hug and do their best to comfort her, but whenever she was touched, her mind filled to the point of exploding, and she was capable of little other than letting her voice out as loud as she could.

Eventually though, things got better. Her parents found someone who knew of 'special' kinds of sickness. An old lady, former huntress, who was specialised in auras, came to visit her some day. She barely spent a minute in the same room as Jade before confronting her parents about the problem. It wasn't uncommon for puberty to have effects on a person's aura, and after her parents agreed, Jade's aura was unlocked.

She had little to no power yet, and couldn't really control the use of her aura, but it made the voices stop... mostly. The strange sounds began to fade, though touching was still somewhat uncomfortable. She signed up for a fighting academy, impressed by the huntress and hoping to maybe follow a similar path some day. She was able to make friends again, and things got better. She became an excellent combatant in those years.

Occasionally, Jade dabbled in trying to find out what it was that filled her head with those strange expressions. Answers came slowly, but steadily, and they frightened her. When she looked at the auras of those around her(Jade had always been able to see the glowing colours, not realising this was invisible to most) she slowly began to notice that those of her friends and classmates she spent the days with were always dim. She decided to put it to the test, and got a friend to try it out. They sat down in front of one another, and Jade firmly grasped her friend's arms. After a few minutes, she could no longer see her friend's aura, and her friend's cold arms slipped from Jade's grasp like a dead body. Her skin had turned pale, with veins sticking out as though they were trying to leave the body. Ambulances were coming already, but she was convinced that she'd killed her friend already. Grasping the body once more, she desperately prayed for it not to be, and managed to push the aura back out. It was only a little bit, but it was enough.

A few months later, the invitation to Beacon arrived, and Jade set off, eager to become a huntress.

Personality: Jade is empathetic above all else due to being able to feel others. She's very self-conscious, but lacks some confidence, and tends to let herself get pushed over. Jade is eager to make friends, and won't hesitate to make first contact, though she takes rejection somewhat badly. She's always extremely energetic(both physically and mentally) and loves excitement. She tends to judge those around her first and foremost on what she sees about their aura, as she's found it makes a better judge than normal first impressions.


Strength: While she's easily pushed over, her willingness to comply to others combined with her empathetic nature makes her acquire friends easily wherever she goes. Jade can do a bit of healing by transferring aura onto others, calming them in the process. Combat-wise, what Jade lacks in raw power, she makes up for with agile movement, precise strikes, powerful aura and lots of explosives. She is also an excellent cook.

Weakness: Jade's biggest weakness is her inability to say no to any who come along, as she's always looking to help out where she can. She doesn't like hurting people, which makes her a poor duelist, and she's only recently gotten used to the idea of slaying the Grimm, who she's never seen outside of pictures and films. She's easily spooked and scared. Combat-wise, she's small and fragile, lacking the physical strength needed for many aspects of hunting, and once the aura runs out, there's little left she can do to defend herself other than trying to dodge.


Semblance: Jade can see and move around the power of aura between herself and others. While her skills are underdeveloped at best, and the combat uses for it are minimal, it has great impact on her day-to-day life due to emotions being shared in the same direction as any transfer of aura. The speed at which she may drain or give her energy is dependent on the distance between her and her 'target', as well as whether or not they are willing, this making it so that she can't drain anything off enemies unless she can touch them, nor can she help others if she's too far away. Due to her being unable to properly control it, Jade constantly drains those around her. While this isn't directly noticable, people who spend a large portion of the day around Jade may find themselves quickly exhausted, and in need of more sleep and food.


WEAPON

Name: Blessing & Curse

Primary Form: Two large, heavily curved daggers with a green core and black trim, or a black core and green trim, respectively. The centre area is made up of the gun mechanism, which is inactive, but can still be reloaded in this form.

Secondary Form: When the gun form is activated, one of the daggers partially collapses into itself, and the barrel and scope from the gun mechanism extend, turning the blade into a large revolver with only a single bullet in its magazine. Jade uses large, dust-powered bullets with heavy impact of different types, though mostly explosions. The weapons only shortly remain in the gun phase, as they only fire once before she reloads.

History: The daggers are self-made, as forging one's own weaponry is a traditional part of the fighting education.

Seems fine to me for the most part. As long as you make sure other people are aware of the draining thing, it should be fine. Approved.
