Appearance:A lean and wiry body type would be the first thing to point out. Jonathan’s body is thinned in the most unhealthy of ways. Despite this, wiry muscle pulls over the skeletal structure, making it apparent it isn't that he never eats; he was just simply born this way. His neck is narrow which leads down to sloping shoulders that abruptly angle down in an almost feminine shape. His torso does not hold much muscle structure, but enough so to make him appear slightly healthy despite the fact his ribcage can be seen barely upon the bottom ridges. His stomach caves back ever so slightly, as if his organs had been sheered away, while muscle trails up its surface in stringy bands. A pronounced ridge is visible where his hip bones arch over the surface, which leads down to long narrow legs. All of his limbs appear gaunt, his hands spindly with an almost spider like look to them. Jonathan’s face is almost delicate in a way, but not overly feminine. It is apparent he is indeed male, despite his thin jaw line that tapers to a near point. This soft line traces up to an overall oval face shape. His eyes, beside his lanky body, happen to be the most notable part of Jonathan. They are icy, cold, a piercing detachment that makes it seem as if they can stare right into ones very soul.

His usual attire consists of a school uniform-like look usually in layers, a white undershirt with a blue tie, dark deep brown vest, and a matching outer coat which eliminates a lot of his gaunt appearance and makes him look healthier. The slight pad to the shoulders also add to it, giving him a more masculine build, though it is all a facade. His lower body is simple in comparison to his upper body wear, a pair of plain black pants. The shoes he wears to go with it are always looking new, with no scuffs or scrapes across their surface. On his face, he wears a pair of black glasses, they cover up his eyes quite well, drawing attention away from them. Despite the fine attire, there seems to be a sense of raggedness to it. Finally, his hair is usually unkempt and scraggily, as he does not style nor cut it in any way.

History: Born into a family that consisted of only himself and his grandmother, Jonathan "Jon" Neil grew up without knowing what a normal family was like. However, from a young age his grandmother would regale him with stories of Hunters and their various triumphs. Little did he know the people she spoke of were his family, or what it was, to be more exact. Feeling inspired by these stories, he took it upon himself to become a Hunter, studying the history and lore of various established Hunters. However the extent of this training would be purely scholarly, physically he had not grown in either mass or strength yet he kept to rigorous training, which inadvertently earned him name-calling from local kids. Despite this, he still applied for Signal Academy, easily becoming accepted due to his extensive knowledge. As a going away present, his grandmother gave him something that used to belong to his grandfather: A walking cane. Surprised by this, Jonathan wouldn't know the deeper meaning of this gesture, till it came time to make his weapon, using the cane as a base; he would create the "Wicker Bane". A weapon that by all means, made up for his lack of physical strength, this however did not go pass some of his more "brutish" classmates. finding himself teased and tormented, he became more reserved and drawn back. This followed him till he graduated and moved on to Beacon, where he hopes to become a great Hunter.

Personality: Neil is a very distant and calculative young man. His youth left him the scars and issues with certain situations and conflicts spurring forth compulsive actions. He does not like brute individuals or actions, finding solace in using his mind over all matters. Able to keep a straight face in the presence of hostile situations, trying to find the upper hand in such a situation. He is rather solitary in actions, preferring smaller groups to larger masses of people. This allows him to work and observe the finer details, while large crowds can seem overbearing and overloading to his calculative mind. If he knows the people involved well however, he can tolerate the larger groups. Criticism, is handled well, allowing it to roll off his back with a 'Well if that is what /you/ believe' attitude. He does not seem fazed by such taunts typically, unless outside stresses are in play to break this normality. He does have a berserk button in the form of bullying or tormenting of others, his more "heroic" side will come into play, despite his own inner protests; jumping into the fray, to defend without a moment’s notice.

Strength: Intelligence: Jonathan has a wealth of information from much of his time spent reading and studying. His knowledge covers many areas of expertise, though the usefulness would still just be the know how, not the actual application of said knowledge.

Seamstress: By far the one ability he tries to keep hidden, with his nimble hands Jonathan is very apt at sewing with thread and needle. He mainly uses this to patch his own clothes, if given enough time however, he can create full assortments of garments and clothing.

Speed : While lacking the muscle mass to be physically strong, Jonathan is very light on his feet, making his movements deft and swift, though also due to lack of much muscle, this quickness can only be used in short terms, as he will tire quickly.

Weakness: Fragility: Jonathan is made up of mostly bone with little to no muscle mass to support that, any strong impact  would be enough to take him out of any fight.

Semblance:  Jonathan’s Semblance, is the ability to bend light in such a way as to blend himself with his surroundings. This power only works on easily fooled opponents, as it allows him to make blind spot in their visual sense. However, if one were to hear or smell him, he could be easily exposed.

WEAPON

Name: Wicker Bane

Primary Form: In it's primary form, it is just a simple, black, wooden, walking cane. The cane itself is strong and sturdy with a curved end to grasp onto; the wood used in it’s production is unknown.

Secondary Form: Upon closer inspection of the piece, one would find that the bottom of the cane is faux, acting more as a sheath if anything. When twisted the right way, the top is able to come off to reveal a small rifle. The handle of this rifle is made up of this grip of the cane, with the rest being cast in a unknown metal. The rifle fires Dust rounds, with different types doing different effects. The accuracy of this weapon is around medium range.

History: Originally belonging to Jonathan's grandfather, the Wicker Bane was gifted to Jonathan from his grandmother as he set off for Signal. There, he modified the cane, adding the rifle to it's design.
