What types of technology can we take for granted?

Basically the title. I was wondering what types of technology we can expect to be 'free to RP' with. Vytal is somewhat more technologically developed than our real life modern day society, not counting things like Aura and Dust. Apart from weaponry, which we've seen a lot of, and holograms and stuff, we don't actually know that much about the tech.

So I was hoping we could get some kind of general consensus as to what technology is ok to RP with, first taking examples from real life then progressing on that if we want to.

Anyone?

I'm thinking that, if you've seen it in RWBY, it exists here. Anything that would fit that tech level would be okay. Transporters and replicators from Star Trek probably don't exist. Perhaps modern day tech + 20-30 years? Its hard to say exactly without just making a giant list of things.

Yeah that makes sense. Whatever technology we have now is pretty much a given. I'm probably going to stay away from using anything new/futuristic that hasn't been introduced in the show though. Now that I think about it, Alani could use a cell phone. Hmmmmm.
