Match D: Aoife Knight & Arthur King vs. Jun Sapphire & Lyra Lifto

"S-Shut up! I thought it was something larger than a stupid bird!" comes the reply, yelling at him as she starts to calm herself, "Someone has to keep alert for the enemy, they won't just walk up to us and be like 'Hello, we are your opponents'. I don't even know what weapons we are fighting!"

Jun smiles from his perch in the trees. He can see and hear Knight yelling at King, and that she is very jumpy and has no idea what she is up against. He signals to Lyra to proceed with the plan.

Lyra signals saying she iss ready. She runs in, Hellebore and Lilac at the ready. She isn't exactly the most quiet. She sees the two enemies and runs towards them.

As this occurs, Jun swoops in silently from behind on his glider. He lands silently, and before Knight can react, uses his staffs airblast to hurl her away. He then teams up on king with Lyra.

Lyra puts away Lilac and extends Hellebore. She then lifts Hellebore and swings it at King's feet.

Briefly being ambushed in the fight, her aura returns and glows a bright crimson. Swapping to spear form In an instant, she uses the thrusters to propel herself back into the fight, the sound of a fighter jet crashing being heard as at the last second she throws it at Lyra's feet, the ground exploding in a metre radius around her. Starting a follow up, she immediately then attacks Jun from the side, Shadow Dragon's sharpened side coming down towards his side.

Arthur, realising the worst has happened, jumps back at the last second, avoiding the slash. But only just. He falls to the ground, but quickly scrambles back to his feet. He then draws his sword raises his shield and readies himself for a fight.

"Jun?" Lyra coughs "Jun where are you?" She couldn't see through the smoke of the explosion.

Jun quickly reacts to Knights strike and knocks it to the side with one side of Ventus Anima, then makes a strike at her with the other end. At the same time he shouts to Lyra "I'm over here!"

After seeing the smoke clear Arthur sees that Jun has replied to Lyra's calls and moves to stand between the pair.

"I'm over here!" Lyra hears. The smoke cleares and she sees that King is between Jun and her. King... King's good she thought. Running towards King, Lyra pulls out Lilac in her other hand and Hellebore de-extends. She lifts both of them and swings downwards as soon as she gets to him.

Arthur raises his shield to block the on coming blow, and swings he sword in a wide arc underneath the shield at Lyra's midriff.

Evading the strike from the Staff. Aoife quickly retrieves White Dragon, she swaps it to Sword form and returns to attacking Jun, White heading towards his staff and Shadow stopping him from evading to the sides. At the last second,White Dragon starts roaring Animalistically, A Brutal amount of electricity now coursing through the sword, with the intention of using his own weapon to injure him.

Jun uses his staff to knock Shadow away, while using his non-conductive bracer to block White Dragon. While her defenses are open, he throws a kick at her. Just about 30 seconds left before the air recharges, he thinks.

Lyra jumps backwards, narrowly missing the sword. That was close... Gotta be more careful. Lyra put Lilac away and extends Hellebore, knowing she can block blows with the staff end. She thrusts the blunt end of Hellebore towards King.

Twisting so that the kick barely hits her, with the chain-mail taking all the damage and stops the hit from registering, she then decides it's time to end the fight. Activating her prepared aura, her speed increases ten-fold, movements now blurring from speed, she increases the voltage of White Dragon to 50,000 volts. Bombarding Jun with a relentless assault, with Shadow and White now taking completely different paths as to not allow him to block both with his staff.

By now grinning maliciously, Aoife thinks to herself, 'Anyone who is in our way is an enemy to be crushed, why was I holding back before when they could of harmed us?'. Shouting aloud to Arthur, "Time we end this! Stop playing around!"

Shouting back at Aoife "What does it look like I'm doing?!" Arthur then side-steps to avoid the on coming attack, then goes to bash the on coming strike with his shield and goes to lunge again towards Lyra's chest with his sword.

In one quick motion, Lyra hits Kings sword downwards, pulls out Lilac, and swing Lilac and Hellebore around King on either side of his neck, putting them to his neck "Tell Aoife to play fair," Lyra says, "Or take three hits"

But anyways...


Jun rolls back to avoid the relentless assault, while airblasting himself straight into the air, and at the same time kicking up a giant dust cloud. "Watch out for Knight, she just got really fast!" Jun shouts. "But it can't last very long!" If I can stay in the air for just a little while, she can't get to me, he thinks while going in figure-8s around the arena.

OOC: Tbf, she was going rather casual in the fight, as she was trying to conserve energy for future fights.

Seeing as her most immediate threat has vanished, she uses it as a chance to help out her partner, Charging behind them, she starts swinging at Lyra despite her sickles being around his neck, Shadow going for one arm and White for the other, she lets out another yell as she strikes, "Get your filthy weapons off Arthur!"

"Hey Aoife, play nice" Arthur then drops both of his weapons and brings his forearms up to his chest and pushes them outwards to keep Lyra's weapons away from his neck, he then proceeds to go to kick Lyra in the stomach to gain some distance and a chance to recover his weapon and shield.

Trying to recover from the kick, Lyra put her foot back. It's too late, Arthur is strong and she knows it and she fell over onto her back. "Thank you," she said under her breath

Using the falling over to gain a swift victory, she finishes closing the gap and changes her slash attack to run by Lyra's side, White Dragon pointed to her enemy's neck, and Shadow Dragon to Lyra's heart. Aoife goes, "Give up or die, This is boring me now."

Arthur walks over to Lyra, after picking up his weapons, and says "It's probably wise if you just give up now." then he goes to slam the bottom of his shield on her arm to disarm her of one of her weapons.

Lyra pushes the button on Lilac. "While you think I should give up, I never give up. You don't know me. I don't give up until I'm dead" in the smoke she escapes and pushes Aoife down. "You made me mad and I don't like being mad" she said pinning him down slashing lilac at his sides several times.

(OOC: by 'his' I assume you mean me? As you mentioned pushing Aoife down and what not?)

Slowing down at the expense of increasing her defence, her clothing gets cut to ribbons as her chain-mail takes the hits. Using the fact she is distracted, she thrusts her Twin Dragons into each side of Lyra, the volts from White Dragon acting like a tazer.
