PostSubject: Ideas for (Non-RWBY Related) Stories   Ideas for (Non-RWBY Related) Stories Icon_minitimeMon Sep 16, 2013 7:05 pm

I'm a writer so I come up with these different stories. Every single one of them will have influence with each other. They're all tied together despite taking place several thousand years apart from each other.

The first story is about the downfall of the greatest civilization the universe has and ever will see. The ruler, Malvus and his remaining elite soldiers have to go around erasing the history of their civilization in the hopes that no one repeats their mistakes. Technological level is without equal, time period roughly 6000 BC.

Tying together the second, which is a world hunted by the Empire's sworn nemesis, they decided to drastically reduce their technological level and culture to primitive tech and even altered their genetic coding to hide themselves as just another world in the stars. Malvus lost his memory after the events of the first story and takes the name of Malacai.

The second story is about a fantasy world that is on a small world with only 2 continents, one of them is very small. There are more than a few dozen states at war with each other and are destroying the world they occupy. The world contains monsters like dragons and unicorns (manly unicorns), and your typical orcs, elves, and dwarves being main races other than humans. 20 years into this massive world war, a civil war happens within one of the 3 super powers and within 2 years ends up becoming its own super power while the rest of the world falls before it. Malacai (or Malvus) eventually regains his memory and the world is eventually divided into 2 factions, one fighting for good, the other for evil. Technological level is a combination of ancient Roman and Greek tactics and culture to civil war era with line infantry and artillery, time period roughly 110 AD.

Tying together the third story, a colony ship from the Empire when it was first expanding into the stars was lost. Back when they had to use cryo stasis to send people across the stars, a miscalculation lead to the colony ship traveling far beyond where they expected to land. It was colonized roughly 4000 BC.

The third story is the first contact of humanity from Earth's point of view, they've already colonized a few worlds that are flourishing. Humanity bumps into several alien races, all with relatively equal technological level, with only one alien race being technologically superior to the others. Various sub-factions within each faction war against each other. Technological level varies from modern (but in space) to your typical futuristic with energy based weapons, time period during the late 30th century.

Tying together the fourth story, it is several thousand years later and humanity has expanded across the stars once more. A character from the third story was put in stasis carrying a device (currently working on what the device is for) and intended to travel several hundred or thousands of years into the future (still working on why) and reappears in the story as a major character. At this point, nations we know today are non-existent.

The fourth story is still undergoing some work. I don't know how exactly I want this to work, but I was thinking of staying on just one planet the entire time between a massive city-world or a massive-desert world. Thinking of having aliens capable of generating black holes and worm holes appear and they try to take control of the planet, but the story might even be scrapped and just skip to the next one, but I really like some of the technology I created specifically for this one. Technological level superior with weapons being half energy, half physical. Armor resists physical weapons (except armor piercing, for obvious reasons) and shields resist energy weapons. Bullets have a chance of bypassing shields altogether as they're designed to negate the energy being used to tear away at the armor. Technology is also simply the third story's technology but improved upon (and melee weapons make a return), time period being several thousand years in the future, before 10,000 AD.

Tying together the fifth story, this takes place only a few dozen years after the previous story however takes place on the far opposite end of humanity's expansion. You'll find some familiar alien races from the third story. Some characters from the fourth story were shot across space and a few years forward in time to the fifth story.

This technology is a blend between Command & Conquer and Mega Man style. You have super soldiers who are enhanced (either through genetic mutations or power armor) who excel in melee combat using unconventional weapons and tactics. One of these such characters is the character I'm using on this forum, Drakk Ven. Beyond that, your basic rifleman, tanks, mechs, and fighters remain present. However, this story focuses on three different styles of fighting. Super soldiers combating other super soldiers occasionally (rare, but it happens), basic military squads combating each other, and naval battles. Three factions fighting for supremacy in a large sector of space but surrounded on all sides by storms in space. No one remembers how they got there or why, but no one seems to care when you're fighting a 3-way war. On top of this, there are two splinter factions for each main faction and pirates, all of which are threatened by a warmongering alien race that cares for nothing but the annihilation of all life. Technological level superior, time period several thousand years in the future, before 10,000 AD.

Tying together the sixth story, the characters at the end of the fifth story had to rescue the main character, Malvus from the first story (still thinking of a why and how he was captured by the aliens from the fifth story) and he returns. The beginning prologue will tell how he reunites with a handful of his people from the first story and they lead him to the remnants of his people. 3 billion of his people survived the first story (less than .01% of the population of the Empire in its golden age).

This last story is divided into 3 arcs. The first is a three-way civil war between Malvus' forces who want to change the Empire to a republic, his old friend, Skaros' forces who want to remain an empire, and a council that was formed to create the senate of the republic but turned on Malvus to create a dictatorship. The second story arc no longer has the council as they were either killed or removed from power, but now has demons that have torn their way into reality. They've been influencing and manipulating alien races and people of importance since the dawn of time to weaken man's morality and beliefs. When the first Empire never had a civil war, humanity since has been warring against each other more frequently. The demons side with Skaros and fight to bring an end to him. The last arc deals primarily with just fighting the demons as most of Skaros' forces have either surrendered or have been defeated.

With all this being said..... what the crap do I call these stories? Oh, and I want to know what you guys think.

Sounds cool! Not RWBY though.

This would make a cool set of stories that sounds like it would have a fortunate conclusive end.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that they have nothing to do with RWBY.
