Combat Techniques and Skill Specialization with Professor Blue

Kamon Blue clears his old and ancient chalkboard as he waits for his students to arrive to his first class of the year-- a combat oriented class with heavy attention to physical tactics in battle, and honing the combat skills of the new students.

Myren trudges his way into class, pausing for a moment to acknowledge the instructor by the board, placing his left hand on his right shoulder in his families traditional sign of respect.

he takes a seat and waits for class to begin.

Straudd walks in, nods his head to the Professor and then sits in a seat two rows from the back, before pulling out his multi-tool and attempting to repair a destroyed gadget, passing time until class starts.

Shem walks in, lollipop in mouth, adjusting his uniform tie. He somehow integrated his labcoat into the uniform so he'd be able to wear it. "This tie is killing me" he mumbles to himself. He sits down in the middle row, and just sits there fiddling with his tie.

Kamon begins to erase his chalkboard doodles on the board-- a poorly drawn poodle, a tetris block, a stick figure, and reaches into his back pocket and tosses it to a robot dog of his sitting in the corner, who eats it happily. He begins to write on the board in big, drawn out letters. "Welcome to class. Do you have any questions before we begin?" He stares blankly at the attending students-- polychrome eyes flashing-- waiting for a response.

Shem raises his hand, "Do we have to wear these ties? I think I'm being choked."

Kamon, slowly shakes his head; all the while pointing to his own tie hanging out of his desk drawer. He begins to draw on the board a picture of a death stalker. Underneath he writes the question: "You are alone. You have no weapon. How do you beat it?" Again, he looks towards the students.

Straudd raises his hand and suggests: 'Use the environment to your advantage - if you can crush it under a tree or a rock, then even if it survives it will probably be much easier to beat.'

"you don't", Myren mumbled more to himself than to Kamon. "you run until you find reinforcements."

"You get on it's back and gouge out it's eyes with your hands." Jet says as he walks in, Paladin over his uniform.

Nodding his head, looking at Myren, Kamon mumbles "...yep... You run... While this is a combat class..., you need to know when you're beat, and when to get out of a situation. It's one of the most important combat tactics out their...it's goal is to kill you. By running away alive, you've ruined it's goal, you've beaten it in a way...only an idiot would try and kill it alone and unarmed-- it can't be done." On the side of the board, Kamon draws a quick table entitled "Death Count," and marks a tally next to Jet's and Struadd's name.

Straudd mutters under his breath 'I suppose my plan did rely a little too heavily on surprise and a sizable helping of luck...'

Jet sits in a chair, leaning it back a bit out of habit. "Not that hard to get on a Deathstalkers back..." He mumbles.

Viola yawns and stretches as she walks in late, glancing towards the board to see a picture of a death stalker. Hmm... interesting, maybe this class won't be entirely worthless after all.

Ignoring the teacher entirely, she looks around the room to decide where to sit, and decides on the back row, against the wall. Leaning back, she stretches her legs out in front of her and crosses them, placing her arms behind her head at the same time.

Looking quickly at Jet, Kamon walks over to the board and draws a crude and gruesome picture of an unarmed stick-man on a Deathstalker's back--impaled and gored by the creatures stinger, which is in easy reach of the stick man. He puts another tally next to Jet's "death count."

El Taladro, wearing his everyday training clothes except for a school uniform blazer made custom to fit his large body, and crammed into a seat clearly not designed to fit people his size, roared out, "FLOAT LIKE A BUTTERFLY AND STING LIKE A BEE!"

Shem covers his mouth to attempt laughing out loud while looking at Jet and pointing at the dead stickfigure.

"I've done it before! You gotta get right near its face!" He exclaims, throwing his hands up.

Three tallys are now next to Jet's "death count." Kamon throws a socket wrench at El Taladro, hitting him in the head. A note is taped on the wrench. It reads, "No shouting."

Jet scoffs and leans back. "Oh, do it exactly one certain way, only my way will work." He says under his breath in a mocking tone.

Straudd shakes his head and tells Jet to 'Get over it and let us move on!'

Jet glances at Straudd real quick before looking back at the front if the class.

The wrench collides with El Taladro's thick skull, bouncing of and falling into his waiting hand. He looks down at the note. "I apologize, Maestro!", he calls out while throwing the wrench back to the professor.

Shem clears his throat to focus from not laughing and replaces the eaten lollipop with another.

Glancing at Jet, Kamon writes: "I'm a lot smaller than a deathstalker. I have no stinger. Try and get on my back and take my hat. No weapons."
