Kaitlin opens the door to the dorm and hops onto her bed, placing her recent diary recording on her night-table.

"A well-deserved rest.... just for me..."

Shem walks in, covered in grease from the workshop. He takes off his labcoat and throws it on his bed and walks in the bathroom to take a shower.

Shem sits on his bed, and reads a book for a class. White hair, a little wet from the shower he took, dripped a little on his book. "Dang it..." he mumbled as he wiped the water away.

Kaitlin looks at Shem then looks away, still slightly upset.

Why does he have white hair... he looks old...

Shem glances up over his glasses and lifts his eyebrows.

Why is she looking at me? She looks upset, maybe I should say something. I mean I have Indigo and she has Tyler....Why would she be upset with me?

Shem clears his throat and continues reading his book.

Kaitlin looks at him clearing his throat.

"Yes...?"

Shem looks up from his book. "Hmmm? Oh, nothing, just something in my throat...." Shem smiles at Kaitlin before looking back down at his book with a slight frown.

"Other than the last time you saw my hair, it wasnt white, and you havent said anything about it" Shem said jokingly, trying to hide the real thoughts in his head.

Shem looks at Kaitlin blankly. "Good save..." Shem leans back in his bed a little. "So......how's Tyler?..." Shem asked trying not to sound really awkward.

"Good. You find anyone good for you?"

"You obviously are playing dumb. You know what it is. But we can't change the past. But it's fine."

Kaitlin gives him one of her rare genuine smiles as a single tear falls from her eye.

Shem sighs and gets off his bed and walks over to Kaitlins bed, standing over it. "You're right, we cant change the past, but that doesnt mean we cant continue this little feud...Kaitlin, you were there when Marshall died...you protected me by fighting the fastest, most evil person to ever exist...and what did in return? I cried...I admit, I wasnt the best boyfriend in the world to you Kaitlin, but like you said, you cant change what has already happened..." Shem looks at Kaitlin, holding back tears, trying to be strong and stern.

Kaitlin smiles again.

"I know it's fine we weren't the best couple but that doesn't mean we can't be friends, right?"

"Of course we can be friends!" Shem said with a smile and extending a hand to Kaitlin to get her out of bed. "Stand up, I need to give you something."
