Appearance: 5'10'', 156 lbs, dark red eyes, dark brown hair that is spiked to the right, light skin, and a medium build. He wears a white shirt, black short sleeved jacket(zipped up half-way) with red lining, black pants, black and red sport shoes, and a black belt.

History:
Rainer is an orphan. He was born with a strong aura. He was raised by a group of faunus of the White Fang for five years. Until they were wiped out by a mysterious group of cloaked men. He lived by himself for two years. Rainer was then picked up by a man named Lu. Rainer followed Lu a teacher, and a master swordsman. Rainer learned many things from Lu, and Rainer kept a book of Lu's teachings. Five years pass, and Lu was arrested by the mysterious cloaked men. Due to a rumor, Rainer, Blue(Rainer's best friend), and his fellow classmates formed the mercenary group Pawns to make money to free Lu. For three years they saved a great deal of money to set Lu free, and Rainer as a mercenary earned the name "the red-eyed demon", but the rumor that they believed for so long was a lie. Lu was to be executed with no way to get him out. The Pawns decided to free Lu, but failed horribly in the attempt. Blue died in that battle, and his last words and blade were passed on to Rainer. The Pawns disbanded shortly after. One year later, a starving Rainer meets an old woman at a graveyard. Rainer vows to protect the old lady in place of her deceased husband, until she kicks the bucket. The old woman Molly Free is a teacher at Beacon, and recommended Rainer to be accepted at Beacon academy. Rainer begins his new life as a student at beacon.

Personality: Rainer is an easy going guy. Due to his upbringing he gets along with faunus and humans. Rainer is dedicated to things once he sets his mind to it, but most of the time he is very lazy he will read books(comics and manga) and not do anything. Rainer likes to joke around a lot clean or dirty jokes it doesn't matter to Rainer. Rainer acts like a coward most of the time, but that is only if the situation at hand isn't serious. Rainer is very childish he loves to eat or drink sweet things, and sometimes refers to himself as a child in a mans body. Rainer's inabilty to save his family and friends makes him protective of the ones he has now. Rainer is extremely caring towards his friends. Rainer likes to help others and he is willing to risk his life for anyone. He believes that having a family is something someone ever needs in life. He has great respect for teachers because of Lu. Rainer has a great fear of ghosts and if there is a strange noises or supernatural things happening he freaks out. In dangerous situations Rainer  is willing to sacrifice himself to save the people he holds dear.

Strength: Rainer has immense strength, tremendous endurance, an expert at sword wielding, and a strong aura.

Weakness: Fear of the supernatural. The fear is so bad that he abandons all reason and freaks out. He becomes lethargic when he doesn't have his sugar fix for the day. He can force himself to go on without sugar, but he is likely to faint afterwords. He gets embarrassed easily. This can happen in and out of battle, for example if snot comes out of his nose he stops and gets really red and hides his face with his hands. He can be wounded from any attack because he wears no armor.

WEAPON

Name:Silver

Primary Form: In its primary form it is a wooden bokuto. Silver is practically indestructible due to the fact that it's made from liquid metal extracted from a 1500 year old silver tree, silver tree root, and ancient faunus smithing practices. The bokuto weighs in about 3 lbs and is 100 cm(~3.2 feet) long.

History:The faunus of the White Fang gave it to Rainer as a gift. Crafted by Gary and Jill of the White Fang.

Bokuto:

Name:Shōkan

Primary Form: A katana that is extremely sharp. Made with advanced technology and the strongest metal known to man. The katana can cut through most things except things made of the same materials, or stronger.

History:Lu a former general in an organization called The Wicked. Crafted by the scientists and smiths of The Wicked. The weapon was made to adapt to the users personalty and fighting style. The blade was given to Rainer after meeting Lu the second time. The first time being the the leader of the cloaked group The Wicked. He killed Rainer's adopted family, but Rainer himself doesn't know about Lu's past.

Shōkan:

Name:Jinsoku, Michael 5

Primary Form: A pure white katana that can cut through steel.

Secondary Form: The blade splits into two parts when the katana is in the scabbard and a small lever on the side is flipped. The gap of the blade uses a small amount of dust in the scabbard to store energy. Using iaijutsu the blade releases that energy in a wave. The energy wave gets stronger with every slash but it also uses a greater amount of dust in the process. Currently after five uses the dust is depleted and it can't be used anymore. It returns to it's original form when doing the same process mentioned in the beginning.

History: Created by a famous weapons smith. It is said to be one of many unique weapons created by Michael. Jinsoku is the fifth out of ten weapons to be made. Another name for this blade is the Michael 5. Michael 5 was created to cut apples down a really tall tree, because he was to lazy to pick them. The ten weapons are said to be able to combine with each other and create different affects. This was acquired by the Pawns as a reward and was later given to Rainer by his late friend.

Name:Aegis

Primary Form: Aegis is a simple silver ring that produces a small force field around the user. The produced force field is one foot long in diameter. The force field is activated by saying it's name, and it lasts for 20 seconds. Once the force field is erected the user is trapped in the force field until the time limit is finished. It takes half a day before the ring is recharged and be used again.

History: A reward that was given to Rainer after finishing a job in the now disbanded mercenary group Pawns. The maker of this ring is unknown. The ring is said to protect the user from any and all forms of attacks." />

Just going to do the first preliminary post.

No comment on the History. I think that needs to be thoroughly deconstructed before I will put anything about it. So what I will deal with is the weapons.

First - the format. Separate weapons require separate profiles. No 3-in-1ing this.

The primary forms and abilities...

1. Silver. NO. Not happening. Self repairing aura weapons are not happening. Cybernetics, nano tech, traditional smithing techniques or liquid metal, sure but self repairing aura blades...no.

2. Shokan - again using Aura as a crutch. Step away from the Aura. Build a shield generator into the weapon or make it a dual-form shield-sword combo. As far as the history goes...expand this. A lot. We don't need mysterious weapons with grim histories - this almost sounds exactly like a Zoro katana from One Piece.

3. Jinsoku - No more Aura. Stop. No. You weaponised iajitsu with aura. By all means have ancient techniques taught to you by a swordmaster but stop putting aura into everything. You are falling too much onto a grey area and using it as a crutch. We know aura can function with a weapon and can extend the weapon's reach etc. to a degree, but a lot of things need to have other origins.

The history here is too vague as well. Dead Friend's weapon. No reference to the friend in question. And again, unique weapon? Another Zoro katana from One Piece.

There will be more on the History later I suspect. But on the weapons alone - no. By all means take influences from designs and weapon types...but do more than just stick aura on it. Come up with techniques to get the effect you desire. Actually make the weapons something themselves.

You mean to tell me the white fang was just wiped out? No. a small pack of faunus that got wiped out and had connections to the white fang? sure, but not the white fang in general. That destroys canon and is not allowed.

a 5 ft radius, not even diameter. maybe 1 ft, maybe.

So the other problem with this is that you have 3 weapons with 1, 2 and 2 functions (Yes, being a sword counts as a function) unless the 3rd weapon can't be used as a sword, in which case why have it 3 ft long, and the 2nd weapon can't be used as one, in which case why not just have a shield generator?

Sorry for not making it clear about the White Fang. Yes you are exactly right about the White Fang. The faunus that were killed were only a smallish group of the White Fang.

I added a shield generator and made some edits to the weapons. Also some minor edits.
