With Roy's face covered in blood, Cebrail was hoping that the leeches wouldn't jump on him while he was incapacitated. Firing both the blade tips at the remaining Sangueteeth, he prayed that he could keep their attention long enough for Roy to wipe his face.

"Over here you overgrown parasites! Come and get me!" He yelled as he kept firing and retracting his blades at them. At least now things were looking in their favor.

Taking advantage of the now blind target, the remaining two leeches leap out of the way of Cebrail's attacks, quickly latching on to Roy, beginning to drain his blood. Within moments, Roy starts to pale, and is most certainly near death. The leeches, however, detach themselves and quickly escape, content with the amount they had fed.

Moments later, Cebrail gets a new message from the faculty of Beacon.

Attention Cebrail Theron.

It has come to our attention that your partner is near death. Respond to this message to get immediate medical evacuation for the pair of you. This will exempt you from the rest of the initiation, and you will still be placed in a team. However, your partner will have to take part in a later initiation in order to be placed in a team. You have an hour to decide what you wish to do.

Cebrail watched in horror as the leeches fed off of his partner. As they slithered away, he rushed to Roy's side, his scroll beeping a message. He was being given the choice to stay or evacuate with the medical team. He would still be placed on a team. But did he deserve to be? He trained hard to try and become a hunter and yet when he was finally being tested, he let his partner become grievously injured.

The message said nothing of him continuing the initiation on his own. It seemed that either both of them continue or both of them leave. With Roy's pale face staring back at Cebrail, his eyes closed, there was only one option that made sense.

"Take us out of here. Please..." He practically begged. "Before he gets worse..."

The medical team quickly arrives, three members in total. Two carry a stretcher, with the third carrying a medical kit and some blindfolds. They quickly place the stretcher on the ground and get busy, transfusing Roy with some blood. The third approaches Cebrail with a blindfold, holding it out to him silently.

The other two gently lift Roy on to the stretcher, placing a blindfold on him as well. They begin leading the way out of the cave.
