The legs shaped in a mscular and feral fashion that resembles those of a Beowolf. He is often seen wearing a tight vest made of thick leather, or with a heavy duster coat worn over, while his trousers loosely hang below his knees. But during times that call for stealth and efficiency, Mars dons black tactical vest with magazine and utility pouches.
History:Mars Arma, born deep within Forever Fall, lived in a small town stuck with the old times. Since an early age, Mars helped his Faunus parents live in the mainly Human town by working at with the blacksmith, where he learned to craft everyday items such as silverware and horseshoes, as well as complex weapons. Although he's never had actual combat education, he's learned to control his aura from the blacksmith, who was also his mentor.
Mars' obscene features did not take until he was 12, as a boy, he often ventured deep into the forest, hoping to find small Dust crystal protruding from the ground that he would sell for his family. But on a particular day, a pack of Beowolves attacked him, using the knife he made himself, he only managed to defeat several of the creatures before he fled to find refuge inside a small cavern he had never noticed before. Luckily, the creatures could not pursue him into the small entrance. The cavern remained dark, until around the corner a faint red light glowed from deeper inside. Deciding to follow the light to find a way our or kill enough time for the Beowolves to loose interest, he stumbled into a cell with a pedestal. The red light had come from a large Dust crystal that had already been perfectly shaped. Thinking this particular crystal would bring his family wealth, he grabbed the crystal, but it infused into his palm, leaving a permanent crest behind. He soon felt dizzy, voices began to erupt inside his head. Starting from his arm, black fur began to grow quickly throughout his body. After gaining his bearings, he realized he changed.
Waiting for night to fall, he made his way to his mentor, who was ready to kill Mars before he heard his voice pleading for help. The Blacksmith had known of an old legend the described an ancient treasure in Forever Fall that held a curse that would have killed normal humans. After confronting his parents in his new form, he asked to go to combat school at Beacon. After his long years of being outcast at the school, he became an advent Hunter who now helps train students at the school and watches over the students, especially those of Faunus origin.
Personality:Often seen as cold, calculating, and decisive by students and outsiders. But anyone that is close to him will tell you that he talks to much and over thinks even the smallest of task. He sometimes obligates himself to act as every ones protector, and does not tolerate discrimination of any kind.
Strength: Is excellent with ranged attacks as well as Close Qaurters and evasion, his curse grants him great strength and speed when compared to most other Hunters.
Weakness:Is often easily provoked into reckless decisions when the life of an innocent is threatened. His hearing can be easily taken advantage of. He avoids open combat when he can, due to his evasion relies heavily on the use of cover and concealment.
Semblance:His curse acts as his semblance, allowing him to leech aura off opponents and restore his own by touching them with the curse mark on his right hand.
WEAPONName:Big Irons and ACW-9
Primary Form: Big Irons: Two long under bladed revolver that use aura shots to either harm, propel the weapon or himself, and fire the blade off the barrel to use as a grappling. The amount of times he has to open the cylinder to cool the weapon depends on how much aura he used in a shot and what it was used for. (ie: Well powered shots will cause more cool downs than using the shot to propel the blade.) Does not change shape.
ACW-9: A modern combat weapon that he made himself that lacks the power of his revolvers, but makes up in versitility. Starts out as a small sub-machine gun with a folding stock(Resembles a SCAR-L with a shortened barrel and no mag well). Does very little damage, but is great for getting close and personal, or just filling the air with fire. Uses a long pistol magazine in the pistol grip for ammunition.
Secondary Form: ACW-9: Changes into a full size Assault Rifle that deals enough damage to be concerned about, and is usually used when range or stopping power are key. He has to change out the SMG magazine with Assault Rifle magazines to use. (See SCAR-L)
Tertiary Form: ACW-9: The final form of the weapon changes into a heavy hitting Marksman Rifle that is used for precision shooting or when putting down the target with low risk of conflict is needed. The stock is fixed and barrel extends with a muzzle brake as well as needing to take a larger magazine. (See SCAR-H DMR) Each of these weapons can be fitted with optics and suppressors at his discretion.
History:Even though Mars likes to be prepared, he usually never carries both sets of weapons at the same time. The revolvers that he treasures were made by his mentor before he attended Beacon, the Big Irons were forged, engraved, and crested by his mentor. Mars has used the two almost religiously for missions until he almost died because of the size and inconvenience of the revolvers during a mission in a city. He then created his own weapon, the Adaptive Combat Weapon, ninth prototype. Whenever he is called upon for a serious task, he uses the ACW-9 to fill the gap the revolvers can't fill, but sometimes likes to carry it on his person to make up for the fact that he uses Big Irons more than his own creation.
