Who Is Bench

Leo watched as Melissa dove, hoping buoyancy was on his side and her skirt would cooperate with his gaze. Realizing that he was staring, he already prepared to mask his observation as concern for her well-being.

"COIN SHALL BE SAVED!" Melissa shouted as she searched for the coin, or at least she tried to shout. Instead of any audible sound all that came out was a series of "blubs" and "blurbs" along with an accompanying burst of air bubbles flowing out of her mouth.

So far there still was no sign of coi- THERE! Spotting a glint on the bottle of pool, she swam quickly there to rescue it. Grabbing the piece of metal, she surfaced, throwing the 'coin' up and onto solid ground, saying, "I saved your coin!" As she did.

The 'coin' landed on the ground, revealing itself to be... just a random chunk of metal.

"Well, you found...something." Stahl said, walking over and picking up the piece of metal, "What is this anyway? And who threw it in the fountain?" He asked nobody in particular.

"Huh?" Melissa tilted her head in confusion, only just now realizing it wasn't a coin that she had found at the bottom of the water.

"...Oh well, close enough..." She muttered to herself, getting out of the water and retrieving her weapon, converting it to flamethrower mode and setting it at a very low setting. With it set to such a low strength and as long as it wasn't right next to her or anything she could use it to dry off, relying on aura in case it was a little too strong. Theoretically.

Turning the fire on she began drying off. Luckily it seemed her predictions were right and she wasn't burnt to a crisp.

Leo, his "face" to the outside world being an expressionless mask and visor, did not show his disappointment when the wet t-shirt factor dried itself away, but looking down at the water, and shifting himself, he rediscovered the (albeit distorted) joys of reflective surfaces.

It was only as an afterthought that the metal-clad giant thought of the explanation that he was looking for the coin if anyone asked.

Scarlet awoke to distance sounds of voices and shouting, and a headache. Sitting up with a groan, she tiredly tried to make sense of her surroundings. Why was she on the edge of a cliff? Oh god, that's a long fall.

A soft, mechanical sound started in the distance. Scarlet tilted her head, listening closely.

Is that a... hairdryer?

I really don't have to go over there just to..

Where did they plug the hairdryer in? I need to know.

Now curious, Scarlet began her pursuit of the mysterious hairdryer noises.

Leo was almost too preoccupied with looking up Melissa's skirt to notice Kirkka.

Almost.

Looking at her, he visibly winced, remembering the ruined bench. That woman was going to hate him, he was sure.

Jet lays back in a chair a little bit away from the fountain, eyes closed and breathing deeply and slowly.

When Leo turned his attention back to the water, he found it too distorted to keep up his view, regretting not taking a picture when he had a good look. So he looked around, spotting a small girl in the distance in a sweater. Unfamiliar to him, though looking at her, he tilted his head. "Interesting," he rasped.

Scarlet flinched at the metal monster looking at her.

What.. what is that thing?

She unconsciously took a few small steps backward, keeping her eyes trained on the... thing for any sudden movements. It was only afterwards when Scarlet realized she was right behind a cliff.

"AHHH!"

Leonius started toward the cliff as soon as he saw the girl fall, his footfalls leaving imprints in the grass. "Modus: Vindicta," he growled, hearing a soft beep in his ear.

"System Set Up: Close Combat Form," a tinny voice rang in his ear.

The cannons on his back spread out into wing-like arrangements, and secure in the knowledge no one was right behind him, he surged forward on wings of fire toward the edge of the cliff.

Upon hearing several loud noises, Viola starts to wake up, sitting up slowly. After cleaning her eyes quickly, she starts to look around... and happens to see Leo flying off the cliff for no reason she can discern.

Shem, walking by, still thinking about what happened at the cliffs notices the large airship as well. He stops, shrugs, and decides to go to the beach.

Isabelle stands in the distance at the edge of the courtyard, watching the strange events. She notices the airship that is docking and decides to go check it out.

Okay Scarlet, you know this. Spread your arms, relax your body, open your ey-oh god.

The monster had jumped off the cliff after her.

I'm going to die..

She was dimly aware of someone screaming, before realizing that it was her own voice. She frowned, snapping her mouth shut.

If I'm going to be killed by a huge robot, I'm not going to look like a blubbering fool when I die.

Arthur, who happens to be walking by minding his own business noticed the approaching airship and decides to stick around and see what might unfold.

Seeing big machine man suddenly grow(?) giant wings of fire and start speeding off to what seemed like cliffs, Melissa to decided to join it. It sounded like fun! Was he going to jump off or something? And go splat on the ground? That would be fun too!

Transforming her weapon back to it's primary form (And leaving herself still half wet in the process), she used it to speed forwards towards the cliff, chasing big machine man.

Dante donned his harness for Zorro again after hanging his jacket up to dry. The area had gotten a lot less peaceful, but the appearance of the airship piqued his attention. Looking around, seeing that the excitement nearby was under control, he slowly advances towards the airship, curious as to what it brings.

Leo took no notice of the airship, surging downward to the falling girl looking up at him in horror.

Horror. At him.

He was, however, committed to action, grabbing the girl as softly as he could, and thus fairly roughly, before turning and firing a weak, but gradually stronger burst downward, slowing them gradually. When they neared the bottom, he cut the jets, landing with a loud thump. "Am I so terrifying... that you would jump to your death to flee?" He looked down at the girl, before dropping her unceremoniously. "... I am aware... of how I look..."

The airship completes its docking, and the doors open. Queue dramatic smoke. Kirkka and the other teacher walk inside. After a few minutes, a large crate is being wheeled out and placed on the dock. This is repeated a few times, with various shaped crates. Wait. Did that crate just move on its own? Nah, couldn't have! Its just a crate! Suddenly, a cry of excitement comes from inside the airship, and you see Kirkka run out, followed by two people carrying a bench. It is set on the docks along side the crates. This bench looks like a replacement for the ones in the courtyard. Made of stone, decorative. But there appears to be a small difference. The bottom looks like its reenforced with some kind of metal. And there's a mechanism on it. I wonder if its powered by dust in some way?Kirkka sits on the bench while the others finish unloading a few things. As they bring out the last crate, nearly twice the size of the others, she stands. "Alright! Keep up the good work men! Let's get these crates inside. And don't run over the grass!" she says to the others. They close the airship doors and it locks.

"Well, that was a major disappointment" Arthur said to no one in particular.

Viola notices the old janitor lady directing traffic out of an airship that had docked, and notices a shiny new bench. She then realizes that she has no clue where Leo ended up...

She decides to wander over to the cliffs to see if she can see what exactly happened.

Seeing big machine man jump off the cliff, Melissa decided it would be pretty fun to follow suit. Diving off, she saw why he had jumped - apparently some other girl had jumped too! Cliff jumping party, suicide for everyone, yay!

Instead of trying for a more balanced descent, Melissa continued using her weapon to power forwards, moving faster and faster.

Once she got close enough to the ground, she quickly spun her weapon upside down, using its thruster to slow her descent enough so that she landed safely on the ground with a loud "thump" instead of a "SPLAT".

"THAT WAS FUN!! AGAIN! AGAIN!"

Isabelle shrugs and jumps off the cliff, because conformity. She draws her blades and stabs them into the cliff to slow her descent.
