Cuffed and Left for Dead. (Plot)

"Welcome to class!" Professor Strom said to the class as he waltzed in with a box. Slamming the box on the front desk, he turns to the class with a smile. "Today we will be doing a team building exercise. Now we all know you have been assigned to your teams but, in real combat that may not be the case." His face straightening, adjusting his tie. "Now.." he continued. "Since this is a big class, I will only want 8 volunteers for a...well..a camping expedition." He opens the box and pulls out 4 sets of hightech looking handcuffs. "You will be sent out into the wilderness of the snowy forest for 3 days and 2 nights, the pairing will be random..." he holds the handcuffs up higher, "...oh and you will be handcuffed together. So, you and your "teammate" will have to find food, shelter, and fight for the weekend until the handcuffs automatically come off and send a signal for us to pick you up." Slamming down the handcuffs and clapping his hands together, "SO....whos in?"
