Beacon Courtyard [Invite only]

Jacob had almost forgotten the girl until she spoke up again. He turned to her and offered a faint smile
"You ok?" he asked.

Schrödinger also began to notice the sadness and shyness of the girl, he looked down, quite confused. Due to Schrödinger's "friendliness" he believed that everyone else was just like him, hyperactive and constantly extroverted, he wasn't used to shy people. He imagined himself standing next to Skye and suddenly appeared there, just as he had in the tree, he looked down at her with a quizzical expression and asked "Ja, vat is wrong Fräulein?" Partly concerned and partly interested.

Skye suddenly began to panic as she was confronted by another two strangers asking her questions, she began to breathe heavy and her heart began to flutter. She felt intimidated by the tall 6ft 3 faunus boy but was scared by the sudden appearance of the small faunus boy next to her. Her fox ears flattened to her head and her tail almost clung to her body as she looked through the gaps in her hair, which was now almost covering the entirety of her face again, almost shaking in fear as she said "I...uh... I.." meekly unable to get the words out.

Jacob saw the signs and eased off ab bit, allowing the girl to calm down a bit before he said anything else.

Will looked down at the girl who was looking a bit distressed. "Calm your self small one. No one here means harm to you." He said as he played. He loved playing his sitar. The melodies that he strummed calmed his mind. He leaned back, and yawned. He looked around, and pulled out a small flask he filled with sweet tea, and a hint of whiskey. "Ah sweet tea, the sweetest of all teas."

Skye looked around the panic on her face ,not shown with her face being covered by her hair, was very clear, she had to get out of there. She was getting to much attention from people who intimidate her, it was like her worst nightmare except it was real, she was only commenting on a book and this caused two people to begin questioning her like she was a criminal. Skye quickly closed the book and stood up before going to run off and running straight towards Jacob, knocking into him and falling backwards her hair falling to either side of her head exposing her pale, panicky face.

Will looked at the girl and sighed. "Little one here have a drink." He handed her his flask slowly as to not startle her. "A fine mix of herbal tea will calm your nerves." He said with a friendly smile.

Skye stared up at Will as he handed her the flask, her nerves making her hands shake, she stared at the flask being given to her before reluctantly taking hold of it with her hands still shaking and taking a small sip or the herbal tea. She then slowly extended her arm, holding it out to Will to give it back to him saying "thank you" quickly and meekly, her nerves not as bad as they were but still bad as she slowly backed her way up to the tree and sat with her knees to her chest and her arms crossed against her chest pressing the book up against her chest.

Will looked down at the small girl. "Calm yourself. No need to be nervous, and if you are just think about something that relaxes you." He said as he played. He shot her a warm smile as he played.

Skye suddenly realised her face wasn't hidden and her nervousness was showing fully now. She felt slightly calmer thanks to Will. However she was still too nervous to even sit down without hugging her legs close to her body, feeling more secure when she did that. She tried to think of something that relaxes her but struggled to find something that relaxes her. She stopped hugging her book and held it out in front of herself, inspecting the cover, slowly calming down more. Don't worry yourself Skye, its only two 6 foot something boys and a disappearing act, it cant be that bad

Will just kept playing doing his best to keep things calm. "No need to fret." He said changing music slightly. [music now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOo55jYJlV8] "A reader of the fine arts. Reading is a thing you like I take it."

Skye looked up in to the tree and gave Will a rare small smile, as she normally only smiled around her friends. She loosened her grip on her legs and allowed them to stretch out fully with the book help in her lap. She picked up the book and climbed up the tree and almost next to Will, her legs dangling over the edge of the branch, feeling a little bit nervous again but not a lot. "I don't read much, i sometime read this book to remind me of my homeland" she said meekly yet openly, moving her hair to the way she normally has it.

Will nodded. "You read to remember your home. Truly commendable." He continues to play. "Might I ask your name if your up to it?" He asked with a lazy smile. Will just played and played. It was his relief to the world, and he was great at it.

Schrödinger was surprised by the girl's timid response and the fact that she suddenly ran off, until she tripped over, Schrödinger forced himself to not laugh, but was still smiling. When Will offered her the tea he finally decided in his mind that she must be really shy, and probably for a reason, like a traumatic past or something, but despite his curiosity, he didn't dare ask, he remembered asking Seras one time, he learn't the true meaning of "curiosity killed the cat." Instead he sat down on the grass, looking over the other students, he noticed that Skye was climbing the tree with Will and smiled to himself, happy that she was not being as shy as before. Eventually he pulled out a small bag containing catnip, he placed a small piece in his mouth and began chewing it, he used it in a similar fashion to chewing gum, but with more affects than just a minty taste. He eventually looked up to the girl in the tree and called out to her "So, vat is your homeland? I don't think you share ze same von as me, judging by you accent, but I might be mistaken." He then extended his arms over and behind his head, laying down on the grass and using his palms as a pillow, staring up at the sky, watching the clouds. "Today is a good day." He said to himself, quite quietly.

Skye visibly flinched at the question but convinced herself to answer it "Skye Sertaur, what is yours"she said meekly and quickly. After a while of listening to Will play the sitar she began to mumble along to the song, the lyrics not fitting in song but in her head they did "Gafflwn Dihenydd, o'r fuddugol yn wiriol sydd. Ni fydd neb yn ein Drechu, Falch ydy ni i drochu, Traed o flaen i'r Annwn, mewn y gwybodaeth fe godwn ni" she mumbled barely audible to human ears. Her ears began to slowly raise from her head feeling more comfortable until the small boy from earlier came up behind her and startled her, her ears falling back down to her head. She fell silent again when the questions began again, answering quickly "I'm from Summuria"

At some point, Brady had hauled himself up onto his own branch and was now lying along it with his arms and legs dangling.

"It sure is" He mumbled in agreement with the feline faunus on the grass below. "Where are you from, anyway? Never heard an accent like that before"

Jacob had returned to his former position, slightly unnerved by the size of the crowd now accumulating in and around the tree. He adjusted his jacket slightly and re-steepled his fingers. The Fox girl looked as though she was freaking out a little, so he thought it best not to exacerbate the situation.

Will looked as the girl got more and more nervous. He just sighed. "To those who listen hear me now. Some people hate questions. Makes them nervous." He said as he played a softer melody. [just the strings not the other bit after 1:43.] He looked to the group. "Why not ease up on the questions. They are good to ask, but all the time." He said calmly without his lazy smile fading.

Skye began to back away from all the questions still looking down at Schrödinger until she backed straight into Will as he played his sitar, She turned around with a look of panic on her face to look at Will and saying "Sorry quickly and meekly before she climbed down the tree one more and sat on the opposite side to everyone else, the questions making her nervous along with the fact she had just back into somebody who is almost two foot taller than her thinking he might get mad with her. She sat once more with her legs up to her chest but this time with her head burried into her knee's, wishing that Shiki or Boni were here to help her nerves like they sometimes did.

Jacob looked up momentarily to see the tiny girl plomp down on the grass. He tried to give her a comforting smile, but ended up baring his teeth instead. He mentally kicked himself before looking down, slightly embarrassed.

Skye looked up into the tree to see if Will was angry with her and saw another person baring teeth at her. She began to panick, not knowing what she had done to him that made him angry with her to the point where he was baring teeth at her. She pulled her legs tighter to her chest and buried her head again, wandering why he was angry, genuinely scared by him he must be one of his friend, god ive angered an entire cartel of people, I knew I should of just keptnto myself, I wish Boni was here... she thought as a tear formed in the corner of her eye.

The girl clammed up further and Jacob groaned inwardly
"Sorry" he muttered "I didn't mean to scare you, still getting used to the whole 'friendly' thing." The wolf kept his distance though for few brief moments he thought he could smell tears. That only worked to make him feel worse about his attempted smile.

Skye looked up to see where the voice had come from, wiping the tear away from her eye. Her ears close to her head and her tail clinging to her body as she tried to smile but couldn't, too scared to do so. When he explained he wasnt used to being nice which made her think why wasnt he nice before, is he one ofnthose white fang ive heard about she kept herself in a ball but kept looking up at him

Jacob brightened up a little when she dried her eyes and made eye contact
"Names Jacob" he grunted "of Clan Reaver."

Skye stared up at him for a few seconds after he spoke his name before speaking up herself saying "Skye of the noble house of Summuria, Sertaur" meekly and nervously looking back down at the ground near her feet and sighing quietly, keepingherself from crying again

"Are you ok Skye?" Jacob asked, knowing full well what her answer would be "you seem a little... scared."

Skyes ears pricked up at the mention of her name, immediately nodding afterwards, verry quickly yet meekly. Skye then fixed her eyes on the ground near her feet again, shaking a little bit from being intimidated by the boy who was talking to her although she wanted to speak, her nerves were being the bane of her existence as usual. Her ears fell to her head for a brief moment before they pricked up again wih him telling her she was visibly scared, there was no surprise as she knew what she got like. She began to feel a little bit bad inside, feeling he should know why but she couldnt say, keeping the reason deep inside her only telling those closest to her. She stood up about to run off but found she couldn't, her legs unable to move, not physically paralysed but mentally.
