Grim Dark Rwby (irretrievably non cannon) [Closed]

Hira smiles. "Good. Let us go." She states as she steps out of the tent. As a man begins to make a call she has her bolt pistol out and leveled with his head. "I would not suggest that." She grumbles before re-holstering it.

Jacob grabbed his armour and followed Inquisitor Raziel into the camp. Throwing a harsh glare at the man Hira was aiming at. Thw wolf's eyes cut deep into him, making him wish the Inquisitor had pulled the trigger. Mouthing the words 'see me later' Jacob continued through the camp towards the Inquisitor's valkyrie in the vehicle pool.

Stepping into the Vendetta, Hira goes over to where her armor is stacked and sits down in front of it, letting out a sigh when she hits the ground. "Take a seat on any of the open seats." She says.

As soon as Jacob steps into the Vendetta, a bandage covered being with a two segmented power swords immediately jumps up and starts inspecting him, interest showing in her visible eye. "So this is what a normal guardsman looks like?" She says, her robotic voice grinding on the air. A sniper in the corner groans and pulls his hat further down over his face with a remark of "Be quiet, I'm trying to sleep."

Jacob stared at the bandage clad female in front of him
"Forgive me my lady, but I am no normal guardsman" he grunted, gesturing to his wolf ears.

"Kokkino, behave." Hira reprimands from across the vehicle. Kokkino slinks back across the Vendetta and sits on one of the seats. "Fiiiiiine." The bandaged one says. Hira stands and walks back over to Jacob, taking him by the shoulder and pulling him over to an empty spot. "Just sit here. And don't mind Kokkino, the Eversor assassins don't get much in the ways of normal. Though she doesn't go on rampages since we keep her out of cryo."

Jacob nodded, pretending to understand the strange methods of the inquisition.
"Is this the unit under your command?" he asked, gesturing to Kokkino and the dozing sniper in the corner.

Hira nods and heads over to the half-assembled Terminator armor, stepping into the boots and greaves. "I do not require very many units for all of us are Psykers to an extend."

Jacob cocked his head to one side.
"Even so, forgive my saying so Inquisitor, it seems you may be outnumbered by the heretics, though this rarely matters, I did note some reports of Astartes amidst the crazed cultists."

As Hira edges the chestplate on she speaks up. "It is of little matter if there are traitor arse-tarts or not. Silfurion is the best marksman I've ever seen and Kokkino's weapons go through armor."

"With all due respect Inquisitor, a power weapon accounts for little if you are laid low by a bolt round before you have the chance to use them." Jacob internally scorned himself for speaking out of turn, but it was too late to take back his words, so he chose instead to hold his ground.

Now fully armored, Hira turns towards Jacob. "This is true, however if the rounds do not hit you then you shan't worry."

Jacob fastened his carapace plate over the top of his khakis and checked the magazine loaded into his weapon
"Just get those Heretics into arms reach, then their Bolters will count for little."

The engines roar to life as the Vendetta pulls off the ground. Hira nods in approval and stands by the drop door, watching the landscape fly by underneath them

Silfurion tips his hat up onto the top of his head and stands, his cybernetics whining slightly as he walks over to Jacob and drops a Refractor shield module in his lap. "Attach that to your armor. All of us use one. Except for Hira, she has her armor shielding and a warp field."

Jacob fastened the module to his armour and gripped the straps holding him in place.

Minoru stared up at the sky above. The traitor Astartes was perched atop one of the huge battlecannons that adorned the bunker. In total the emplacement boasted seven in total, all of which were operated by the millitia who had turned on planetfall.

The Vendetta pulled into a heavy turn, the bay lights flashing red. Silfurion shoves a grav-shute into Jacob's arms and slings one over his own back. "Get ready to drop!" Hira calls from the door.

Gritting his teeth, Jacob thrust his arms through the straps on the chute and shakily trudged over to the access ramp, as it steadily lowered. His shaggy grey hair whipped around in the wind, as he neared the ramp.

Hira takes point and the other two stand at her sides. Hira makes a count-down with her fingers that are on the halberd. '5...4...3...2...1...go!' Hira jumps off the back and the other two dive after her.

Closing his eyes and bellowing a warcry, seemingly at the air, Jacob jumped, shooting down towards the ground below like a bullet.

One of the Cultists in the parapet below Minoru's post began shouting to his comrades. The Astartes dropped down with a heavy thud, causing the chatter to stop
"What's wrong?" he sighed
"The Inquisition my lord" one of the militia replied, his scarred and misshapen face, contorted in what Minoru assumed was fear "Our scouts saw a Valkyie bearing their insignia"
"What those Imperial Lapdogs do is of little concern to me" Minoru waved a ceramite plated fist "just make sure they don't get through the blockade" he ordered
"How?" the question was like a slap to the face. Chuckling to himself Minoru turned, whipping an ornately decorated bolt pistol from his belt and blasting the man's chest open.
"I'm sure you'll think of something" Minoru grinned, as chunks of flesh and gore rained down on the remaining men.

The heavy Terminator armor slammed into the ground a few feet away from the blockade, a psychic shield going up as a loud warcry emit from the vox. "FOR THE EMPEROR!"

The two others land lightly, Silfurions Heavy Bolt Sniper blowing Cultists to pieces as he sights in and shoots with unnerving accuracy. Kokkino immediately runs into a group of cultists, her blades becoming whips of fire as she slashes the group to pieces.

Jacob landed heavily an rolled, raising his shotgun and unleashing a flurry of blasts, tearing through the front line of the advancing rabble
"FOR THE EMPEROR!" he echoed. He took the weapon in an axe grip and charged through the hail of autogun fire, tearing through the most senior looking militia with the crackling axe blade.

Hira wades into the cultists, every swing claiming multiple of them as autogun shots bounce right off her shields.

Silfurion quickly changes out his magazine and hipfires the weapon, bolts going through multiple targets before detonating. Kokkino joins Hira in close combat, becoming a whirlwind of fire.

Snarling with feral fury Jacob cleaved through cultist after cultist. Blood and screams of pain filling the air as he went about his gruesome work in the Emperor's name

Screams sounded form the trenches. Minoru clambered up to one of the observation ports and glared at the Inquisitors steadily making their way towards the bunker
"GET THE CANNONS ON THEM!" he roared "NOW!"

Breaking through the Blockade, Hira waves her hand and an immense wave of fire sweeps out from her. Silfurion and Kokkino quickly follow through the hole in the blockade, their weapons blazing and flashing.

The snub barrels of the vengeance battle cannons turned, their reticules centred on the Inquisitorial warband. Jacob looked up just in time to issue a warning
"TAKE COVER!" he roared, throwing himself to the ground.

Hira thrusts her hand towards the cannon, a large shield of warp energy surrounding them. The shell hits the shield and stops, falling to the ground undamaged.

Jacob stared at the Terminator armoured woman in shock. He'd seen psykers before, those of the sanctioned, but even their powers were eclipsed by those of the Inquisitor.

With a gesture Hira sends the shell whistling back towards the cannon and she quickly goes back to chopping down cultists, nothing damaging her Terminator armor.
