Curious Minds on a Hazy Night [Closed]

The Sun was now just peeking over the horizon as if it were watching, waiting to see what would happen next. Everyone shadow's were now incredibly long. They appeared to be convoluted, twisting every which way as they were broken up by random object that were near the cliff.

Now that the Sun is getting pretty low, we should probably get ready. Mao dragged himself and his backpack closer to the campfire, his face glowing considerably brighter as he did. "Everyone, it's almost time! Please have a seat around the fire for the briefing." He didn't actually bother waiting for anyone. "In this forest, there is rumored to be-" Mao paused for dramatic effect, but it sounded pretty stupid and cheesy to anyone who was actually listening. "-an abandoned manor!" He now raised his arms in a dramatic fashion. "And we are going to find it!" Mao opened up his pack and tossed to everyone a plastic jar filled with red sap. All the jars were somehow pretty chilled despite being in the pack for some time.

Hiawatha caught the jar of red... whatever that was. Straightening up, he injected a formal tone into his voice, "So what do we do with these? Also, who are you people?". Hiawatha stared at the new comer. Apple? Is that a tool or a person? Anyway... the blades on his glove looked like they were his primary weapon. He could be taken out by surprise

Drawing his sword, Hiawatha scanned the surroundings for any possible watchers. Gesturing towards Mao, "Lead the way"

Kalmora was lost. Perhaps he had missed the meeting? "Well this isn't good. If I've missed the meeting, they may have gone off without me!" Kalmora exclaimed out loud as he went from simply walking, to jogging in the darkness. "Anyone out there?!" Kalmora exclaimed...The rumors he had heard...

He knew it was possible to live outside the protection of the City, outside the protection of -Dust-...His family for generations at one point had survived only by the light of the fires they made. The sacrifices made to keep the Grimm away from their land...That was long before Kalmora's time...So it was a relief to think that it wasn't just some false-family story that passed the generations...It -was- possible...Or so he hoped to prove if they managed to find this Manor that was rumored to be about...

Noticing a flame in the distance. A Camp fire perhaps?  Kalmora began to pick up speed. His right hand moving into his coat to withdraw his weapon. With the click of his finger tip over what normally would be a safety-button the weapon began to transform in quick movements into the one-handed chainsaw that Kalmora had learned to wield quite skillfully. Holding his finger down on the trigger the chainsaw came to life. The string was on there only for the action of activating a Dust-discharge...

The sound filling the air around Kalmora wasn't as deafening as a normal chainsaw. But it was still quite loud as the chain rapidly moved. If Kalmora had gone for a more-old fashion chainsaw. It would produce a near-deafening sound at this close range. But the more modern take of the chainsaw the only sound it produced was that of the chain on the chain guide moving quickly.

The reason for doing this?

Straight forward, to the point.

Dramatic Entry...

That and there happened to be ALOT of bushes between Kalmora and the area that had a camp-fire it seemed. With quick swings of his arm as he mowed through the brush the chainsaw cut into it like butter. Sending woodchips, and bits of leafy-substances flying about until he cut through the last of it, and into  the general area of the others.

"SORRY IF I AM LATE! LET ME TURN MY SHOTSAW OFF SO WE CAN CHAT ABIT!" Kalmora yelled out before removing his finger from the trigger. The Chain dying down quickly...  "Names Kalmora Horizont!"

A strange noise suddenly appeared, and as it grew closer, someone popped out of the bushes. He started blankly at the guy who identified himself as Kalmora. Uh huh. I wasn't expecting that to say the least... Mao tossed him a bottle of red sap. "Nice to meet you, Kalmora. I'm Mao. Time to head off!" He took a few steps before pausing. "Oh yeah, make sure to finish these drinks before we reach the forest!" He took his out and took a sip as he started walking again.

Devlin stared absent-mindedly at the jar of red sap at his feet. After a moment, his faunus ears perk up and he looks intently at the bushes ahead of him.
 "We have a visitor." 
Sure enough, a moment later, a student wielding a chainsaw cut through the bushes. Everyone else seemed to be scared or confused by the intrusion, but Devlin merely looked on with a blank expression. 
"Hi."
He took a long drink from his jar before following Mao.
