[RvA] The Aftermath: Recovery in the Ferrox Household.

Zwei was now satisfied with what he could manage to overhear. The cloth he was using for a mask was horrible. His mind began remembering the plans he had drawn up a week before and decided that would be the first thing he would do upon his return to Beacon. Pain shot through Zweis head suddenly as he gripped his skull with both hands and sat where he was crouching in the hallway for several minutes before standing and made his way back to his bed trying not to scream out in pain. Im lucky to have anything sort of a broken skull after that punch he thought to himself as he crawled back into his bed and feel back into sleep.

Indigo rubbed on her knuckles, noticing now just how much they hurt. Lucia's intrusion caused her heart to skip a beat, as well as remind her of her drained aura. "Fine. Really, Ms. Drakur." Indigo looked at the clock, blinking at the time it displayed. She turned back to Lucia. "Erm, Ms. Drakur... I really don't mean to be rude, but it's really little late and I'm really tired. In the morning maybe?" Indigo grabbed at her knuckles again. They actually hurt a lot. Upon closer inspection, Indigo noticed that they were severely bruised. Well that's not normal... Indigo got up and grabbed Favonius from their spot on the dresser, noticing that the right brass knuckle had been completely smashed off and had a tooth embedded in the leather. Indigo chuckled to herself. "Heh, sorry Gram. At least I put them to good use."

Drake wouldn't be as polite to Lucia. Instead he would simply turn, leaving in silence. There was still too much noise. Too many frayed nerves. This wasn't a group of children recovering from a rough time...this had become a group of soldiers recovering from an incident. Seeing this, Lilian would frown and shake her head, glancing quietly to Lucia in warning.

It would take time. Fortunately these children had someone watching after them who had put together broken bodies many a time and broken souls a few. Lilian smiles and nods to Lucia before slipping into her own room to get rest. Ana's girl was right. Morning was the best time to do anything at this point. They all needed their rest.

"...Shem will be fine soon." That wasn't something Indigo wanted to hear. Soon? Soon was such a vague answer, he could wake up tonight or in ten years or anywhere in between, and Indigo was getting more worried by the minute. Sleep. I need sleep... And some ice, geez. Indigo fingered at the tiny bottle Aeden gave her before popping off the top and pouring the golden liquid down her throat. She gagged at the metallic flavor, but managed to swallow it all. It occurred to Indigo that Aeden had never exactly told her how much to take, but like hell she was going to under dose on the stuff with Dameon haunting her. She sighed and cuddled up next to Shem's practically lifeless body, closing her eyes and eventually falling into a dark, dreamless sleep.

The night grow quiet as the warriors slumbered, recovering from a hard day against Dameon. With Aeden and Lucina in one bed, Zwei passed out in another, Lucia "peeks" into the room to check on their recovering auras. Her eyes flash cyan just a moment as she scans them and quietly closes the door. She continues onto every other room like normal until she opens Shem and Indigo's room. Her eyes flash cyan again to scan the room, but then she tilts her head in confusion. She scans again...and again. "One person?"

A loud crash is heard from the kitchen, resonating through the halls into Lucia's ears and echoing into Shem and Indigo's room.

"What the...!" Lucia said startled by the noise. She listens carefully for a second noise but instead hears someone mumbling. Then another crash.

From Indigo's room, the sound of hissing then inhaling could be heard. Indigo was tangled in the sheets, her long hair spread out across the entire bed, covering most of the surface with bright white. Her sleep was deep as usual, the crashing in the kitchen and Lucia's subsequent outburst did little to wake Indigo from her slumber. Instead, she rolled over and groaned lightly, further tying herself up. Perhaps this was her subconscious way of stopping herself from flash stepping when awoken, not that it'd be a problem now. Indigo snuggled up to a mass of pillow and blanket that she thought was Shem, a drop of drool escaping her mouth.

Aeden knew he would just have been having nightmares if he slept and decided to lie awake instead. Eight hours is a long time to just wait. In the middle of his night long watch Aeden hears a crash. Instictively he grabs Deception X and Frost Fang and jumps out of bed making sure not to wake Lucina. Aeden didn't have time to change and moves throught the house only wearing a pair of shorts. Sounds like it came from the kitchen. Aeden hears anther crash and moves more quickly. As he reaches the kitchen Aeden sees Lucia standing in the kitchen. He lowers his guard but notices more movement and rushes in front of her ready to defend and whispers to her. "Lucia what's going on?"

Aeden lifts his weapons and whispers to Lucia. "Stay here and don't make a sound."  He begins silently walking over to the pantry holding Frost Fang in its revolver form and Deception X under in a tactical position. Aeden quickly reaches the pantry cautious to the noises inside. It's not a Grimm but that doesn't mean I shouldn't be careful. Aeden stands at the door of the pantry, he takes a deep breath and turns around the corner. Aeden finds a figure hunched over the food making motions of eating he cannot see its face, Aeden tightens his grip. "Don't move. Who are you and why the hell are you here?"

The hunched figure turns his head to show that it is Shem. He stands up quickly and gets in Aeden's face, staring into his friend's eyes with one pupil dilated and the other contracted. "Aeden, we must hurry!" Shem said as he walks back Aeden and opens the fridge. "The isometric frost dust inhibitor is malfunctioning in this refrigeration device. We must operate immediately!" Shem reaches around back the fridge and with a push, makes the fridge crash into the ground. He then climbs on the back of it and takes off the back panel. "This frost inhibitor is discombobulating the plutonic resonator of the cooling systems..." He said out loud as he reaches in and pulls out a bunch of random cords. "Whoops." Shem said eyeing the cords. Tossing them behind him, he looks at Aeden, "What are you doing here?! Wake up Indigo! Lets make waffles! Ill get the eggs. Do I like eggs? Let's find out!" Shem then shoves his head into the panel that he opened.

Aeden set his weapons down on the table and approached Shem dumbstruck. "Shem you're up but your not making any sense." Aeden stepped passed all of the debris Shem had created with his project. "I would call Indigo but she's really tired we all are. How about you stop taking apart the fridge and sit down for a bit." Aeden approached Shem cautiously. "I could make you eggs if you want lets just try to keep the rest of the appliances in check" I'm not entirely sure how to go about this. He seems healthy. "How's that sound?"

Shem lifts his head from the panel and looks at Aeden confused. He stands up and hops off the fridge and straightens his labcoat. "Eggs? why would I want eggs, eggs are horrible. What are you trying to do, get me sick? psh eggs..." Shem said seemingly all in one breath. He looks around and sees the table. "Okay, a nice sit would do." He walks over to the table and trips over the chair landing face first on the other side. "Ok, some motor functions still seem to be not on yet..." He then rolls around onto his knees and grabs his stomach in pain. He lifts his head and opens his mouth as what seems to be red mist coming from his mouth for just a second. "Well...that's new.....THE STOVE!" Shem stands up quickly and begins to take apart the stove.

Indigo was in the middle of a lovely dream, her outside self lovingly cuddling Shem. Except she wasn't actually dreaming of anything, and Shem was actually made of a pillow. She awoke with a start when a loud crash from the kitchen met her ears, but was still half asleep. "Whassat? Wha..?" Indigo picked her face, imprinted by creases in the sheets, up from the bed, her eyes scanning around the room as she yawned. "Sh... Shem... Are... Wait... SHEM! Aaah! Where are you!?" Indigo panicked, frantically searching the mass of blankets and sheets for her missing boyfriend. Suddenly she ceased her panic and put two and two together, her fear was replaced with utter joy. No force on earth could match her speed and determination as, like a child on Christmas morning, Indigo dashed through the halls of the Ferrox home, eventually finding her way to the kitchen where she stopped, quickly finding her target, tears of joy filling up her eyes. "Shem!!!" was the only warning she offered before sprinting across the room, jumping at Shem and tackling him off of the stove and across the kitchen floor before straddling on top of him and kissing him so hard, you could swear she was trying to suffocate him or drown him with the passion flowing from her lips. Indigo was relentless, like yesterday, it would take an army to get her off Shem.

Shem was unprepared for the love tackle of a happy Indigo. Panicking a little as she kissed him, his arms flailed in the air as he still tried to "fix" the stove from the floor. Muffled words tried to escape his mouth as his lips were being kissed by Indigo's as he tries to explain how the internal combustion regulator is malfunctioning even though it was a fire lit, wood burning stove.


"Um, Indigo, honey, you might want to get up and give him some air." Lucia said, still dumbstruck by her son's random and spontaneous activities. "He still isnt well...and suffocating him with love might not help."

Zwei awoke yet again to the sounds of a commotion. He slowly rose from his bed and tied his sweater around his face to simulate a mask again before setting his feet on the floor and standing. He slowly made his way to the source of the noise while using the wall as a brace. He arrived after a minute to see Indigo on top of Shem giving him quite the kiss. "Did I come in at a bad time?" he asked Lucia.

Lucia's words bounced off of Indigo, too deep in her love frenzy to even care about what Shem was saying, though she was perturbed by him not kissing her back. Eventually she calmed down enough to let Shem breath, leaving herself gasping for air and panting on top of him. When the stars in her vision finally flickered away, Indigo tucked Shem's head under her chin, hugging him close. "...Shem... What's wrong?" Indigo pulled Shem's head away, holding him under the jaw. She turned to Lucia, fresh tears welling in her eyes. "What's wrong with him..?"

Like a little child wanting a toy, Shem still reaches for the stove making whiney moaning noises. "Gotta fiiiiiiiix!"

Lucia lets out a sigh but smiles. "He's ok, except his body healed faster than his mind. His mind is still getting things straight so he will act spontaneous and random until he snaps back to reality."

Wiggling his way out from under Indigo, Shem crawls to the stove and opens the oven portion. Jolting up quickly, he bumps his head on the roof, leans back and sits down on the ground. He opens his mouth and another mist of red comes from his mouth. He looks at Indigo and smiles. "HEY ITS INDIGO!" He screamed as he pounces on her, now on top of her and kisses her like she kissed him.

Despite Shem's odd behavior he is still happy that his friend is at least up. He looks over to the pile that is now Shemdigo and laughs. "Indigo I'll leave him to you. I'm heading back to bed." Without saying another word Aeden heads back to his room wondering if Lucina is up yet. He does notice Zwei and gives a short greeting before leaving. "Morning Zwei I hope you slept well."

Indigo sat down in a W position, her lip quivering slightly. She looked sadly up at Lucia. "So... How long- Aammph!!" Shem was lucky that Indigo had no aura left, else she might have flash stepped directly into him. Still, it seemed Shem had a death wish because now, there was no way Indigo was ever letting him free now, he'd die entangled in her limbs. Now he'd done it, that was exactly what she wanted. Well, not quite exactly what she wanted; after all, his mother was in the room. Still, Shem's efforts were noble, but Indigo returned fire with even greater fervor, grabbing him by the collar and rolling on top of him. Between breaths, she was able to make out(har har) a few words. "Seems mm... Fine tmm... Better... Maybe..." Nope. Indigo wasn't stopping anytime soon, though she did make an effort to get him on his feet and into their bed room, of course, she was nowhere near strong enough to pick him up on her own, despite her best efforts.

Though Shem's mind was scattered, he knew what was happening. He mustered enough strength and picked Indigo up, wrapping her legs around his waist and held her up by her hips. Continuing kissing her he looks over to Lucia, one eye still dilated and the other not. He walks past his mother making a grunting noise as red mist came out of his nose since his mouth was busy at the moment and walked into the bedroom and shut the door behind him with his feet.

"Looks like I should get some earplugs..." Lucia said to herself, sensing her son and, what she hopes, future daughter-in-law, leaving her to go do adult things. She tidied up a little in the kitchen before going to bed herself.

In the bedroom, Shem, still carrying Indigo, sits down on the bed and breaks the kiss. "I love you Indigo!" Shem said to her looking into her eyes.

Indigo licked her lips, smiling devilishly at Shem; she couldn't get his clothes off fast enough. Indigo straddled his waist, her tongue exploring all over his body before inevitably returning back up to his head to kiss his neck or nibble his ear. When she was satisfied and warmed up enough, she rolled over to let him on top of her small body, once again constricting him in her arms and legs. She breathed lustfully into his ear, "If you hold back on me at all, you'll regret it."

((Fade to black))

The night of pure pleasure and love comes grinding to a halt when, mid fade, Shem stops his "business" and just looks at Indigo in the eyes. They flash red for a second and the eye that is diliated shifts with the other eye and  more red mist comes from his mouth. A huge smile forms on his face and he leans in and kisses Indigo on the lips once more. "Baby..." Shem whispered in her ear. "....I WANNA MAKE A SNOWMAN!" He then proceeded to yell as in one quick motion, he jumps off the bed and flies out the window, shattering glass, letting the fridged air in as Shem, completely naked, goes outside and begins construction of a snow masterpiece.
