City Life

It had been a few days since the two wolf girls had left behind the Snowy Forest, and Emilia's legs had already turned into jello. She attempted to get Yvonne to give her a piggy back ride, but she was left to struggle the rest of the way there. Being stuck in the lab for so long had caused Emilia to lose any strength she might of had before.

Finally reaching the city, Emilia was taken back by the tall buildings. Having only remembered life in a confined space, seeing such large structures all around her were shocking. She was so taken back by the views of the city, the she didn't take notice to some uneven cement, causing her to trip. She just managed to place her hands in between her and the sidewalk, avoiding any kind of injury thanks to the metal arm guards she was wearing.

As she attempted to get up, she found that her legs had finally called it quits. Turning over, she looked toward Yvonne for some help.

"Yvonne, my legs don't want to move anymore." she squeaked while pouting.

Yvonne was exhausted, the slower pace that she had to take so that Emilia could keep going had meant they were traveling for quite a bit longer than they were supposed to. At one point, Emilia had tried to convince her to give her a piggyback ride, but considering how far they still had to go she knew her legs wouldn't be able to handle the extra strain so she had to refuse.

When they finally reached the outskirts of Vale, it took all of her self control not to breath a sigh of relief and simply plop down on the sidewalk for a break. She knew it would only be a bit farther to her apartment building, since she had deliberately rented a place on the edge of the city, so she just had to push a little bit further.

Out of the corner of her eye she saw Emilia trip, and she had simply been too slow to react to it. The girl knelt down next to her and noticed that the gauntlets had saved her from either tearing her palms open or even breaking her wrist. Well that was a relief at least.

When the girl pouted that she couldn't move, the blonde wolf simply rolled her eyes. She knew that after this she wasn't going to be walking anywhere the next day. She let the girl climb onto her back and held her there, finally giving her the piggyback she had been asking for all this time. 'The last time I did this, she was unconscious...' She thought in amusement.

It was about another hour of walking to get to her apartment, and she had been fighting against the desires of her legs to simply stop moving the entire time. When she finally reached the door to her apartment, she fished the keys out of her right pocket and unlocked the door. Yvonne let it swing open and kicked it shut behind herself, almost losing her footing from how unbalanced she was carrying Emilia.

She let Emilia off at the couch that took up most of the small living room and sat down next to her, although perhaps fell might have been a more accurate term. The girl let out a low groan of exhaustion, knowing that sitting down was a mistake because now she might not even be physically capable of standing up again.

"Well, I'd give you a tour... But you can pretty much see everything from here." She joked weakly. She pointed out the single bedroom, the bathroom, and the kitchen area before letting her head tilt back and rest against the back of the sofa.

Emilia was relieved that she finally got some sort of break from walking, and a chance to look at the surroundings without tripping again.

The piggy back ride was filled with 'oh's and 'ah's as she caught glimpses of new sights at every corner.

Finally reaching her apartment door, Emilia's arms went from their spot around her stomach to just below her chest when she almost fell. Avoiding disaster, Emilia was set down on the couch, where the exhausted Yvonne also collapsed.

Giggling at her tired mount's joke. "That's okay." she smiled as she cuddled up next to her. "I got what I need right here."

Yvonne smiled as Emilia curled up next to her, grateful for the warmth her body provided. Her house was already heated to a comfortable temperature, but the tangible feeling of warmth pressed against her was relaxing while she was so tired.

Still, part of her mind was slightly worried by what Emilia had said. While it was true that the past few nights they had spent together had been fantastic, she had felt rather horrible about it the whole time. Yvonne felt like she was taking advantage of someone who was likely mentally and emotionally scarred by what she had gone through.

Was what Emilia feeling about her even real, or was it just some product of what she had gone through and her simply being the first friendly face that had gotten close to her? She draped an arm over the girl's shoulders and held her, feeling her eyes grow heavier by the moment. 'I suppose I'm going to find out sooner or later...' She thought in defeat.

Before she could even say anything to Emilia she found herself unable to open her eyes, and sleep took over by force.

Hours later, the sun had just raised high enough in the sky to shine directly into the sleeping Emilia's face.

She attempted to ignore it, but only a few minutes later, she found herself giving up on trying to sleep through it. Regretfully lifting her head from her blond haired pillow, she reached both her arms up and stretched out. Looking down at her sleeping pillow, she started to realize how she started to let her cuddle up to her after that crazy night a few days back.

Standing up from the couch, she finally felt too warm. To try to alleviate the problem, she took off her jacket and long sleeve shirt that she had fallen asleep, leaving her with just a tank top that was too large for her. Still not feeling content, she unbuttoned her pants.

Yawning, she felt and heard her stomach cry out for food. Instinctively sticking her nose in the air, she followed it into the area that Yvonne called the kitchen yesterday.

Letting her curiosity get the best of her, she began to dig through one of the ground level cabinets, looking for what she smelled. She found a cabinet filled with multicolored boxes. Checking each one, she found them filled with some kind of small bits of food that smelled of sugar and odd fruits, and even found a box filled with packets of the oats they had eaten during the trip. After inspecting a box, she tossed the open box behind her. Still not finding what it was she smelled, she had to reach further and further back.

There was only one box left, and it was just out of her reach. Refusing to give up on it, Emilia got down to her knees and reached as far back as she could. Still a little out of reach, she began to wiggle herself from side to side, trying to get some kind of leverage on her prize.

Yvonne was first woken up by the sudden lack of weight on her chest and body, but kept her eyes closed anyway. She had absolutely no desire to wake up yet, and even less of a desire to move.

She kept her eyes shut hoping that sleep would come back for her, but she was kept awake by the sound of a cabinet door being opened and boxes being moved around. Yvonne sighed softly and opened her eyes finally, letting her vision adjust to the light that was filtering through her windows.

She sat upright and turned to look in the direction of the noise, only to find Emilia face down in one of her cabinets with her hips raised in the air. The wolf held back a growl of desire.

'Not a bad thing to wake up to.' She admitted to herself with a rather satisfied smile. She could almost get used to that sort of thing.

She stood up and crept up behind her oblivious wolfgirl companion until she was directly behind her. Her eyes took in what was being offered with approval.

She grabbed the girl by the hips and pulled her backwards until her head was out of the cabinet. Yvonne dropped her right knee to the ground and rested her thigh in the gap of the girl's legs before bending over her and nibbling lightly on her neck.

"It's a bit early to be tempting me like this, don't you think?" Her voice had a rough tone to it, having just woke up and speaking for the first time.

Still wiggling her hips around, she could feel her fingers just grasp around the box before suddenly being pulled back by from behind.

Begin sprawled out on the floor, Emilia felt a presence on top of her, and the feeling was quickly confirmed when she could feel them kissing her neck.

The action made Emilia's body quiver as the same buzz from a few nights ago returned to her, but to a lesser extent. Looking up, her eyes meet the smirk and red glow of the same person from that night.

The mix of hunger and excitement left her confused. She didn't know which on to satisfy. Her body wanted to go for the later, but her mind took control.

Looking up with a smile, she asked "What's for breakfast?" as she fought to control her fidgeting.

Yvonne rolled her eyes, knowing that she probably should have seen that coming. She knew she should have thought of something witty to retort with, but after resting in the comfort of her own apartment she was still groggy from what could pass as acceptable sleep.

'Something about eating her...' The wolf thought, trying desperately to force her brain to come up with something clever. She shook her head and sighed. It didn't look like that was going to happen this morning. 'Oh well...'

"I could cook some eggs..." She thought out loud, pulling herself away from Emilia knowing that moment was lost for the time being. The girl crossed over to the fridge and opened it, staring into it hoping that something would catch her eye or put some sort of idea in her mind. She eye'd the milk, and knew that she had a bag of flour in one of her cabinets, if she could just find it...

"Or maybe Pancakes?" She asked out loud, bouncing the idea off into the open air to see what Emilia thought.

Emilia could only sit and wait as she was pinned yet again. The odd feeling of exciting was slowly becoming more and more irresistible. She couldn't get her mind off of where things could lead again.

When Yvonne finally pulled away, Emilia felt a little disappointed. It was quickly replaced when she looked over to see her companion bent over looking through a fridge. Her tail slowly wagging back and forth made it all but more hypnotizing.

She stood up and, just like what had been done to her, crept up behind her 'prey'. She grabbed a hold of her hips and pulled backwards. Not giving her a chance to react, she pounced on top and pinned her arms down.

Panting from excitement, Emilia moved in and acted on the past experience, nibbling on Yvonne's lip.

Yvonne had been too preoccupied with rummaging through her fridge to notice Emilia sneaking up on her, after all she hadn't been expecting any sort of payback from the girl. As soon as she felt hands on her hips she knew she was in trouble, and sure enough she found herself pinned to the ground before she had time to react.

She was about to protest and struggle against her when she felt her partner start to nibble on her lip. The surprised wolf let out a soft moan, craning her neck slightly towards her. It was a soft moment for her, but she knew she couldn't let Emilia go on like that for too much longer, or she might get some sort of idea.

Pinning Yvonne had been a nice idea, at least in theory. But Yvonne knew that it would be all too easy to overpower the girl and reverse their situation. After all, she was a lean hunter and this girl was still rail thin from being held captive for so long, from a purely physical standpoint she was the superior predator.

So that was exactly what she did, rolling over until she felt her attacker's grip on her arms loosen and she yanked them free of the weaker girl's grip. Yvonne turned on the girl in a heartbeat, her eyes glinting with desire. She flipped Emilia onto her back and pinned her arms over her head with one hand, her other hand resting on the floor to brace herself. She moved in and kissed the girl for only a moment, pulling back before she had a chance to reciprocate.

"Now don't get too full of yourself." She growled, her tail swaying back and forth behind her. She made a trail of soft bites from Emilia's lips down to her jawline then to her neck, sinking her teeth in almost enough to make it hurt a little.

Now back into her clothes, Emilia bit into a fresh pancake drizzled in syrup. She sat out on the couch, seeing how there was no table, but didn't seem to care one bit.

"Mmm." she let out a moan of delight. Putting off eating had only amplified her hunger. She had already polished off two plates, and was finally coming to an end on her third.

Finishing off the last pancake, she sat her empty plate on the ground, she stretched out, now feeling full and content, and curled up on the couch to keep herself warm while her body digested the meal.

The sun was still just low enough to still shine through the window and all over Emilia. She kept wiggling around, trying to find the right spot, until she wound up on her back, slowly dozing off.

When the two of them had finally decided they had released enough of their pent up lust, Yvonne had gotten to making the pancakes. It took a bit of time, and as expected Emilia had been impatient most of the time. It was slightly more bearable than usual however, considering how worn out the girl was after their romp.

When they finally sat down to eat, it was a quiet and simple meal. The pancakes had turned out just as fluffy as she had intended, knowing that a filling breakfast could get them through most of the day as well as the fact that this could easily be considered Emilia's first real meal since her rescue.

Yvonne smiled as Emilia tried to wiggle her way into a comfortable position on the couch, and watched as she began to doze off. She supposed that worked for her, now she'd have a chance to take a decent shower which was a luxury she hadn't had out in the forest. She crouched down and picked up the girl's plate, putting both it and her own in the sink before crossing over to her bedroom.

She picked out a comfortable set of clothes for her to lounge around the house in, knowing that they would have to go out later that day anyways. While she was at it, she picked out some clothes for Emilia as well, knowing that she would likely want to change out of what she was wearing as well.

The girl showered quickly, making sure not to use up all the hot water as she often did. It took all the willpower she had not to spend a little extra time in the shower, but finally she knew she had to dry herself off and get dressed. Before she stepped out of the shower, she made sure to shake her tail to get as much water out as she could and in doing so spread the scent of her apple scented hair and tail throughout the steamed up confines of the bathroom.

She opened the glass door and stepped out of the shower, reaching for her heavy wool towel and starting to dry herself off. The wolfgirl bit back a small moan at how relaxed she felt, the hot water pressure and steam doing wonders to relax her sore muscles.

Still sun bathing on the couch, Emilia slowly came out of her slumber as she felt something discomforting. She started to toss and turn more and more before feeling a sudden urge to relieve herself.

Sluggishly, she walked her way into the bathroom, not taking notice to her surrounds or who was already using the bathroom, and went about her business.

After finishing, she soon realized that Yvonne had been taking a shower as she stepped out and dried herself off.

Still somewhat groggy, Emilia smiled slightly as she gave her a weak hello mixed with a yawn.

It wasn't until Emilia had actually stated her presence that Yvonne had even noticed her, since she was so absorbed in post-shower bliss. She gave a small smile, feeling a little awkward having just got out of the shower and not giving her brain time to adjust.

"I laid out some clothes for you on my bed." The rather damp wolf told her unexpected guest. "And I can get you a towel so you can take a shower if you want." She wrapped the towel around her tail and dried it off so when she pulled the towel away it was fluffy once again before wrapping the towel around herself.

She looked over at Emilia and noticed that something was off, and then she suddenly realized what is was. 'Oh my god... She's had that collar on this entire time...' Yvonne thought, feeling a stab of pity for the girl. She remembered that she had been a bit apprehensive about touching it, worried that she might do more harm than good trying to get it off, but she realized that she owed it to this girl to get it off her even though it seemed to be non-functioning.

"Hold still..." She told the girl firmly as she reached for the collar. The girl noticed that there wasn't really any sort of obvious way of taking it off, there was no snap or buckle or anything like that. She ran her fingers along the metal gently, until she felt a small bump along the metal. She applied a bit of pressure and heard a small click and the collar unlatched itself, falling into her hand.

"Well now that's out of the way." She stated, content that that particular issue was finally dealt with. It could very well have been the last symbol of Emilia's captivity, and now that she was here in Yvonne's apartment she was free.

Yvonne walked out of the bathroom and into her bedroom, dropping the towel on the wooden floor and getting changed into what she had laid out for herself; a pair of snug shorts that went down to about mid-thigh and a comfortable tank top. After having lived in cold weather clothes for so long it was always nice to come back and wear something light.

She pulled a spare towel from her dresser and walked back over to the bathroom, handing it to Emilia. "I made sure to leave some hot water for you." She said with a small laugh, "So take as long as you need."

Now that her business was done, she felt like going back to sleep in the sun. She stretched out her arms above her head, and as she was about to get up, Yvonne suddenly held her down. Thinking that she wanted to start up where they left off, Emilia was initially confused by the absence of red glow that normally followed.

Emilia could feel her hand mess with the collar that had been putting her through a good amount of distress and remember that pain made her squeeze her eyes shut and shy away, but she couldn't get away as the hand kept on investigating it.

Her eyes popped open in surprise. The dull stab of the prongs that she had been so use to was gone. She raised her hands up to her neck and felt the newly freed skin. Not realizing how long she had been there, she noticed that Yvonne had left. Seeing no other reason to be sitting on the toilet, She stood up and went to washed her hands. As she reached for the door handle, it snapped open, making her jump back a little. Yvonne stood there, handing her fresh towel and telling her she could take a shower.

Taking the towel, she thought about what her old showers were like. Freezing cold water being dumped on top of her while she was asleep. She shivered a little from recalling it.

Cautiously walking over to the shower, she turned the knob as a stream of water came rushing down. She sighed a little, thinking that for some reason it would be cold, as she sat her towel off to the side and undressed. Taking a deep breath, she hopped in, and was greeted by the stream of warm water.

Emilia let out a loud sigh as she stuck her head under the nozzle.

Having already finished a few minutes ago, Emilia continued to soak up the warm water. She was comfortable just standing there the rest of the day under the warm waterfall. Her hopes were quickly dashed as the water began to feel colder against her skin. Quickly shutting it off, she pouted and stepped out of the shower. Feeling the water on her body start to chill, she quickly grabbed her toweled and dried herself off as fast as she could.

Stark naked, she strolled over to where Yvonne said she left her some clothes. Putting on the underwear with no problem, she picked up the only type of light shirt Yvonne seemed to own, a tank top, and a pair of strange looking pants. The looked like jeans, but were all fuzzy and she could stretch the waistline. Deciding that they looked warm, she slipped into the oversized pants and waltzed out of the bedroom to see what else there was to occupy her.

Yvonne was lounging on the couch with her legs kicked over the arm when Emilia walked out of her room after getting dressed. She saw how loosely her yoga pants rested on Emilia's hips, or rather resounding lack thereof, and realized that something would have to be done about that situation.

"I'm going to have to take you clothes shopping..." She thought out loud, realizing that nothing she had could fit Emilia. Her instincts as a woman caused her to panic a little bit at the thought of that, before she calmed herself down and rationalized that she was in fantastic shape.

She realized that would involve leaving the house that day, which was an idea she wasn't all too fond of. Her legs were still sore from the past few days of travel. Besides, she was already wearing shorts she wouldn't be caught dead in out in public, so she might as well lounge around the house and relax, maybe even do something normal with Emilia besides trying to jump her every time she saw the opportunity.

"So, I say we just have the day to ourselves. What do you think?" Yvonne asked her, beckoning her to come lay on the couch with her. "We can watch some movies... Curl up and take a nap..." She shrugged, not really sure what they'd waste their time doing. "Whatever you feel like I guess."

Eagerly hopping over to the couch, she pounced on top of Yvonne, straddling her legs around her waist as she leaned over, excitement in her eyes.

"You have movies?!?!?"

Though she couldn't remember seeing a movie, she recognized the word. She knew a movie was like the telling of a story, but it used more than just words.

"How many do you have? Can we watch them all? Pleasepleaseplease." She continued begging for several more moments before finally stopping as she silently waited for her answer.

Yvonne sighed in defeat when Emilia straddled her and snuggled up close to her in all her excitement. She supposed that this was just one of the girl's quirks that she was going to have to get used to. Still, it was nice to have this sort of physical closeness after having shut herself away from anyone and everyone for such a long time, hell this romping that they were doing could almost be considered therapeutic for her.

"We can watch a few." The wolf conceded with a warm smile. She wrapped her right arm around her new partner's waist and stretching her left arm out to the small coffee table to grope for the remote to her TV. Finally grabbing it, she pulled it to herself and hit the power button, making her way through a few different menus before coming to her selection of movies.

There were quite a few to choose from, and Yvonne really had no idea where she was supposed to start. She always had this problem when it came to watching movies, and the idea of finding something that they could watch together made it more difficult to decide. So instead she slowly scrolled down the list, letting descriptions for the movies pop up just long enough for Emilia to skim, and she waiting for some sort of interested squeak or sound of approval.

All while she was scrolling, she contemplated what she could make for dinner, after all she had quite a bit of food and she felt like treating Emilia right for her first night back in civilization and in a safe place. Or well, as safe as you could be in an apartment with a girl with an awakened libido like Yvonne had.

Emilia nuzzled up under the older wolf's chin. Satisfied with how comfortable she was, she turned her head towards the TV and started scanning through the movies as they appeared on the screen.

"There's so many..." she thought out loud. That was until one finally catch her eye.

"That one, That one, That one!" Her childish side was getting the best of her now.

Yvonne stopped scrolling when Emilia had pointed out the one she wanted to watch. She couldn't help but roll her eyes slightly, of course she would pick a romantic comedy type movie for them to snuggle up on the couch watching. Well, at least it was one she hadn't seen before so at least it had that going for it. She had a bit of a bad habit of reciting the lines of movies she knew too well, and she figured that might ruin the experience for her new partner.

"Alright then." She agreed, hitting play and letting the movie load for the few seconds it took. She took that short opportunity to make herself comfortable on the couch, knowing that she was probably going to be stuck there for a little while now. Yvonne made sure that Emilia was still comfortable on what seemed to be her favorite pillows, which she still wasn't sure how to feel about.

She wasn't really paying too much attention to the movie, after all this had all been for Emilia's sake. Instead she found herself preoccupied with the breaths she took, and the girl that was draped over her body. She wrapped one arm around her waist and let the other hang off the side of the couch, letting her head rest against the cushions.

Yvonne was silent through most of the movie, and to her credit she hadn't tried to pull anything sneaky or overly inappropriate throughout its duration. To be fair though, she was probably more busy trying to suppress her laughter at parts of the movie. It was sort of an overly generic romantic comedy, the acting was a bit cheesy, but it was oddly charming in a way. If she was being perfectly honest, she'd admit that it wasn't that bad of a movie.

As the movie started, Emilia was almost trembling in excitement. She'd finally get to see a movie. The excitement soon dissipated.

Emilia found herself becoming confused at several points in the movie, and it always seemed to be when her pillow started laughing. Since Emilia had such a limited understanding of many of the aspects of life, the number of innuendos and jokes flew right over her head, but there was one part of the movie that she didn't quite understand. She held on to her question until the movie ending, thinking the movie would answer it, but it never did.

Sitting up, she looked to Yvonne, hoping she knew the answer.

"Yvonne, those two were having sex, right?"

Emilia heard the word said several times throughout the movie, and assumed that the racy scene that the couple had was sex. What puzzled her was how similar it was to what Yvonne and her were doing.

"Why was it between a man and woman?"
