The 24 Hour Room

Ok, this isn't so much of a "plot" as it is an experiment.

The idea is to see if we can roleplay an entire 24 hour period, no timeskips.

I want to place aome characters in a room and have them interact for twenty four hours IC.

Each post would consist of a action, and a realistic stamp on how much time it took them to make that action. Example;

John Smith walked towards Mary Sue and said "I hate you".
7 seconds.

At the end of the post, add that to the previous times. For instance, maybe this is and hour into rhe thread, so the stamp would read

7 seconds, total, 3 hours 7 seconds.

I think a single room might be a little hard to do this in. I will have come up with a bettwe area by rhe time the thread starts.

I expect it will move slowly, but I ask that if you sign up, please try and squeeze something in. Even if it's fluff.

Again, this is just an experiment. This is just to sate my curiosity.

I'll ask that you  try not to get into fights, as they'll be harder to figure out the times for. I won't "prohibit" it, though.

I'll pick four people within a week of me posting this.

Fights would honestly be really quick. A navy seal can stab a dude fifty-two times in six seconds.
Most people here are playing hunters and huntresses, therefor, the reasonable time stamp in any fight would probably be about 30 when including things like dodgeing, parrying and talking.

This is an interesting idea. I wanna see if this will work. I'll sign up with Matt.

2: When is this taking place? (If it is canon)
3: Where is it taking place?
4: Are you sure you want to shoot for 24 hours? By my calculations, with an average post length of 7 seconds, that's 12.3 thousand posts in one thread...

No, not canon.
It'll probably be in Vale, in some facility or something. I'm thinking of planning, like, activities or something so it's not just conversation for 24 hours.
24 hours... Yeah, it's a bit long. Not a goal I'm expecting to reach. However, this IS an experiment, so I guess I'm just hoping for it to go for as long as possible.

Also, Mav, I'd appreciate you not making assumptions on my part.

Even though the thread is already up, I will comment to add that you should shoot for a much smaller timeframe, such as one hour. At least for the first trial. Interesting idea though.

So, I'm having to recast the people in the thread. Dee didn't realize it was non-canon, and I've been informed Snake is taking a break, so check the thing up to for the new cast, and just in case, I'll PM everyone.
