First look at room.

"Sure!" Markus said, handing over a headset.

"Each headset is tuned to one quarter of the screen, apart from when they all merge together. It's voice activated, so just say what you want it to do, and it'll do it. Look," he said, donning a headset.
"Merge," Markus commanded, and the four quarters morphed into one big screen displaying the news channel. "Split." The hologram became the four different screens one more.

"You can also set favorite channels, like I already have. Change channel: favorite number 2." Suddenly, the top right corner, the one adjacent to Markus' bed, changed to an episode of "Crimson vs Cobalt".
"Whoa, new episode! Well, that's the basics, you can even video-call other units, if there were any others. This is the only one so far." Markus clambered up his bunk and lay back, propping the pillow behind him, making himself comfortable, his eyes on his screen section.

Mike saw that Markus had settled back into his bed and was now watching his section of the screen. He took advantage of the fact that no one was looking to move the chest a bit further with his foot. He considered just sitting down and watching some tv, but that was boring.
Not enough interesting things going on here. It's my job to liven things up around here. He thought to himself, waiting for Nathaniel to notice him.

Nathaniel stiffened. There it was again. The scraping noise. He turned, slowly, fists clenched. Lo and behold, the chest had mysteriously moved again. Mike was still standing there nonchalantly, and had even, for some reason, started whistling. Nathaniel walked towards him, close enough that their foreheads were almost touching. He loomed over him threateningly. "Stop. Now."
He turned back to Markus. There was some pretty cool stuff going on right now, but he was currently in no mood to appreciate it. He forced himself to stay calm, but his temper was stretched very thin.

Markus was distracted by Mike and Nathaniel's confrontation, and felt that he needed to take charge.
"Hey! Break it up! We're a team now. No fighting. At least not each other!" Markus realized that he was starting to talk like Nathaniel, short, quick phrases. It gets the message across quickly and easily. Good for quick orders or taking charge.

He jumped down from his bed, a thud marking his impact. Walking up to the duo, he stated "We need to get to know each-other more. Nathaniel, the lack of communication has to stop. Unless it's in battle, use normal sentences. Mike, stop taunting him, now I'm not sure if you're doing this just to annoy him or anything like that, but you need to stop.

His angry rant finished, he walked back over to his bunk muttering to himself "I need to set up a team building exercise or something," just loud enough for the others to hear.
"Now can we all just get along? Hey, do any of you watch Crimson Vs Cobalt? It's, like, the best show ever. Of all time."

Mike grinned at Nathaniel as he stormed up to him.
"Stop. Now."
Mike tried as hard as he could to stop smiling, but he couldn't. Even when someone as dangerous as Nathaniel Dispar was squaring up to him, he had a difficult time keeping serious. Then he heard Markus jump down from his bunk, and start yelling.
"Sorry sir." He said, looking down at his feet in mock shame. Then, when Markus returned to his bunk, he couldn't help but nudge the chest just once more, just to see what would happen.

Nathaniel agreed that they had to get to know each other more. Well, perhaps not everyone here... he glanced back at Mike. Still, he didn't have a clue what Markus meant when he said 'lack of communication'. He knew he wasn't the most talkative guy but he still said everything necessary to get the information across. It wasn't like he missed things out, he just didn't use pointless filler words. Turning away, he started walking towards his bed when he heard it again, for a third and final time. Surely... surely Mike wasn't stupid enough to try his luck again.
He froze, fighting against his instincts. God knows, he'd been trying hard enough to give Mike a chance but it just wasn't working. Maybe he could beat the message into him? No! He'd come here to escape the road he'd been heading down, not to keep following it in a different setting. He wasn't going to lose his temper here. He was with these people for the next four years and he did not intend on spending his first day like this. He was going to go outside, and find somewhere quiet, and take a break. There. That was sorted.
But before he knew what was happening, he was spinning on his heel, a right hook swinging straight towards Mike's irritating little face.

Mike's smile dropped as he saw the fist flying straight towards his face. He ducked, just dodging the blow. He figured Nathaniel wasn't quite the type who enjoyed a good joke. He backed away, realising he should probably make a quick getaway. Nathaniel was stood between him and the door, so that wasn't a option. He turned and saw the window, and grinned. All in a day's work. He opened it, hopped up onto the sill, making sure not to knock his chess set off, and turned back to the others.
"Jeez. Don't fall out about it!" He said, as he dropped backwards out of the window. As he was falling, he took out one of his blades, attaching it to a wall. He swung himself around, above where the new recruits were.
"Hey. I wonder if there are any people I could make friends with down there?" He said to himself as he fell.

Watching Mike annoy Nathaniel and Markus scolding them, Lucius couldn't focus on what he was watching. Then he saw Mike move the chest again and Nathaniel who was about give him a very strong and raged-filled right hook to the face. Though luckily, Mike was able to dodge it and Lucius just let out a sigh. He was planning to actually provide a bit of deflective aura on Mike just to lessen the damage he would've probably experienced but he had a second thought and just had him learn things the hard way.

Mike then left thru the window and Lucius returned to watching the news though he could notice that that didn't ease Nathaniel's rage.

Alright then. If that was how Mike wanted to play it, then who was Nathaniel to refuse. Grabbing Teres-Aris from where he had left it lying in the corner, he rushed out the door. He pounded through the corridor, down the stairs, and out through the main entrance. Damn whatever rules they had in place, Mike was going to suffer. He spotted him as he ran past, and dropped to one knee. Not bothering to fix a scope, he took a snap shot as he ran past. The sonic boom echoed out and a nearby fountain exploded. Damn.
Back on his feet, he sprinted after the fleeing boy, reloading as he went. Water began to flood the courtyard behind him.

Markus saw Mike jump out of the window, and was just as shocked to see Nathaniel run out of the door after him. He decided to try and break them up, so he ran up to the window ledge.
"Lucius! You coming?" were Markus' last words before leaping down on to the new arrival of students.

Lucius let out an even deeper sign and opened his bag to retrieve Xavier and Valerie.

"Yeah, who knows what Nathaniel would do to Mike if he caught him"
