The Practice Arena

Kyri smiles back and nods as Shem squeaks about her asking for a fight. She smiles and starts to do back flips away from him as she hears his Rocketlocker enter the arena. She stops with a few good yards in between them and then spins out the blades of Eurus as she unclips it and grasps the handle.

"Oh let's just make this a friendly wager, i mean after all it is my first fight here." she smirks and rams one of the blades into the ground.

"How about this, If you win, not saying that you will, but if you do. You can take me out for coffee again. Now when i win. You tell me about this girl in your life." her eyes where lit with fire and her smile seemed almost too happy to be going into battle.

A small red glow forms around Shem and his green eyes slowly turn red. "Sounds like a deal, dont say I didnt warn you..." Shem's voice has gotten "darker" since the red aura's appearance. Shem flips a switch and he splits Gleipnir into Huginn and Muninn in swords mode and holds both large swords with ease as he positions one in front of him and one behind him and turns them on, blades spinning with high speed.

Kyri nods as she watches him, and her breathing slows as she closes her eyes for a second and then grasps Eurus with both hands and spins it before taking it into her right hand and spinning it in place. Her Aura starts to glow a light blue color and she opens her eyes keeping them on Shem. She goes into her bag with her left hand and grasps a vertical clip from it and puts it into a small side pocket on her jeans.

"Then let's get started!" her voice has risen in volume and she spins her weapon once more; moving it from the front of her to the back then to rest at her right side once more.

"Bring it, cutie." Shem runs bursts forward at a fast pace even with 2 heavy swords, when he got in range he jumps up in the air and spins himself towards Kyri, like a giant sawblade.

Kyri watches as Shem starts to rush her and she crouches for a second, preparing herself for his attack. She see's him jump into the air and she adjusts her arm so her weapon is vertical and she runs and rolls forward, spinning her blade under him as she attempts to cut him with her roll.

Shem lands just passed where Kyri was, now with a tear in his labcoat. "Ya got me...too close." Shem then spins back to facing the rolling Kyri and begins to shoot Muninn's gattling gun mode at her while keeping Huginn close to him, thrusted in the ground.

Kyri finishes her roll just as she hears the gattling gun's rev up and start to shoot at her. She quickly turned and rotated Eurus so the blades collapsed and she attached it and started to run in a circle around Shem. Just as the rounds started to fly at her she turned and jumped with a ring finger shot of white dust to move her much faster as she remembered him telling her that his weapons where heavy.

Her shot wasn't fast enough though as one of the bullets clipped her leg and sent her flipping into the air. It took her a second to gain control and she fired her pointer finger barrel at him which was a single fireball.

Straudd walks into the arena, his left foot making a tiny, almost inaudible click with it's new metal reinforcements. He sees the labcoat-guy he once shared a class with -'Shem, I think'- squaring off against a girl that he doesn't know. He observes the pair as the fight goes on, and notices Shem's eyes. He shivers as he sees the bright red glow and inadvertently puts his hand over his eyepiece. 'Something is not right with those eyes' Straudd thinks to himself. He walks away, and begins drilling martial arts moves on a nearby dummy, keeping an eye on the fight.

Shem was impressed by her speed and grinned as she was launched into the air. He grin faded as a fireball was flying at him. He let go of the trigger and leaped forward and got hit in the leg with the fireball. He rolled on the ground, just enough to put out his flaming pant leg and spin to face Kyri and pulled the trigger again. ((he left Huginn in the ground where he was standing))

She fired her ring finger behind her so she could close the gap to the ground quickly before he had a chance to fire again. By the time she landed on the ground it was much to late and the cannon was firing on her once more. She shot to the left again, trying to continue the circle around him this time keeping closer to the ground as she ran. She saw his other chainsword still in the ground and took a quick mental note of it.

Okay Kyri, you need to stop him from firing upon you with that damn chaingun. where her quick thoughts before she took another roll to stop her movements for a second and she quickly aimed at Shem. She fired her pinky and her middle finger at him firing two shards of ice from their respective barrels and then twisted and grabbed it causing the four blades to come out spinning until each fell into place to make a shield of blades. She was hit again, this time in the arm and it was a direct one. She pulled her arm in and peaked through a small hole in her defense to see her attack.

One shard clearly misses Shem but with a "Gah!" the other iceshard knocks Shem off balance with his heavy gun and he stops firing. He reaches for Huginn, but it wasnt next to him. He looks at Kyri in her shield and makes a run for Huginn with Muninn in sword form now.

Indigo, back in her combat outfit, sits on a stadium light high above the arena. She sips a water bottle while watching the fight down below.

Kyri watched as one missed and the other hit which satisfied her to no end. She took up her weapon and started to spin her weapon as she ran for Shem. It had seemed like his weapon was a trap earlier, and now it appeared as if he had just forgot it in the moment. She quickened her pace and continued to spin the center with both hands. With the blades free and not locked they started to pick up speed and when she stopped the spin it held it's momentum. She was quickly closing the gap and she swung Eurus towards the sword to try, and stop him from picking it up.

Shem leaps for Huginn while using Muninn as a shield to block the blades from hitting him, the speed and power of the blades send Shem and his 2 swords tumbling into the ground and  close to the outer area of the ring. Shem just laid there face down in the ground.

Kryi Locks her blades into place as she finishes her spin to take the last of the momentum the blades had. She twisted it once more and collapsed them into the center and attached it to her arm once more and turned to see Shem on the ground across the arena.

Is it over? did i win? she wondered as she slowly took a few steps forward seeing Shem on the ground across from her both of his swords where on the ground with him, and she didn't know if he was down for the fight, or if he was going to get up in just a second. She turned the top of her weapon and the spring loaded mechanism for her clips popped out for her to check the amount of dust she had left.

Good.

The red aura glows around Shem brighter and stronger now. Almost like a corpse rising from the grave, Shem stands up and grabs his swords and puts them back together. Shem slowly turns his head towards Kyri, his iris' buring red with rage, and his teeth clenched. As if it was instant, Shem went from standing there to speeding toward Kyri like a rocket, Gleipnir, spinning at full speed, infront of him.

Kyri looked up at Shem to see him already up and charging at her with blazing speed. She cursed under her breath as she slammed the clip back down and aimed her weapon to the ground. She jumped, and fired her ring finger once more sending her sailing backwards into the air and the next second she was firing in front of Shem with her three other fingers, sending two ice shards right before a fireball was sent.

Okay. It looks like i just made him mad... and he isn't really caring that his weapon is heavy now.... I might want to stay away from him right now.

Shem stops in mid charge, sliding on the ground and lifts his sword to block the shots fired at him. Shem yells, which also sounds like a roar at Kyri and as the shots fired at him were nulled, he splits the swords into 2 again and duel weilds the gattling guns and fires at Kyri. "COME BACK HERE PRETTY LADY!"  Blood begins to drip out of his nose.

Kyri watches as her shots are blocked easily by the enraged Shem and she quickly turns around as he takes out both Gatling guns and they start to spin up. She moves to change her direction by shooting under her and she is propelled the opposite direction making an arc over the top of shem. At the peak of her parabolic arc she fires the last 3 shots of each chamber, letting the first 6 ice shards after him with the fireballs coming at a lower angle. She pops the top of the chamber and unloads the clip, grasping for the other one.

Straudd turns towards the intense radiation of power emanating from Shem. He cautiously begins to move towards the spar, not sure if he should get involved or not. Then he sees Shem's face contorted with rage and the blood dripping from his nose and thinks 'Something is definitely wrong!'. He draws White Judgement from his shoulder onto his left hand. He then reaches under his pauldron and adjusts Black Judgement to lightning dust with just enough intensity to stun someone. He then moves closer to the fight, and shouts 'Shem! Are you alright? Calm down, it's just a spar!'

Shem gets pulverized by the fire and ice attacks, making him slide forward. He thrusts Huginn in the ground to spin himself at a high speed and at the end of the turn he launches Munnin, now in chainsword mode again, at Kyri. As soon as he let go, he takes Huginn out of the ground and runs after the flying sword ready to attack. "IM GOING TO CUT YOU UP!"  Blood now comes out of Shem's mouth, slowly.

Indigo watches intently, the glowing red aura reminded her of something. Her thoughts brought her back to her studies with her father. She remembered him mentioning that sometimes, aura can spill over into a "berserk mode", but she had never seen one first hand.

Straudd sees Shem shrug off a barrage of dust attacks before attacking viciously in response. 'Right, now I get involved - this is getting dangerous.' He runs forward, closing in behind Shem, and aims an electrified flat-palmed punch at the small of Shem's back, intending to knock him over so he can try and calm him down.

Shem stops at his charge, letting his sword still fly towards Kyri. He lets the punch hit his neck but doesnt budge. Instead, Shem reaches behind him and grabs Straudd's arm  "DONT BUTT IN!"

Arthur, now taking note of the fight going on in the area. "Well, this just got interesting." then starts walk towards Shem "Uhh, why don't we just calm down now?"

Kyri Watches as the sword starts to sail towards her and she quickly reaches for her clip. She grabs it and slams it into Eurus and starts to dive downwards trying to avoid the chain sword. She wasn't fast enough as it hits her leg causing her much pain and damage to her Aura. She lets out a cry of pain as she spins through the air towards the ground.

She she slows her spinning she see's two others approaching Shem

"Hey! Don't interfere with the fight! It's okay, I've got this!" She called out and then looked to the ground to see she was much closer then she would like to be. She spun her weapon and threw it to the ground to slow her decent. The sword stuck into the ground and Kyri hit the handle and rolled onto the ground a bit less elegantly then she would like.


"Don't mess with this fight. It is not in your interest! This is jut between me and him!" she yelled at the two men.

Arthur raises his arms and backs up. "Okay, lady. If you so desire"
