Field trip to Savage's Peak! [plot, open]

TIMELINE STUFF: THE PLOT WILL TAKE PLACE ON MONDAY OF WEEK FIVE

Petra, or as she was known to her class, Ms. Evans, looks about her empty classroom. The students had just cleared out, the lesson had gone... Less than smoothly. The lesson in question, was about the history of weapon crafting, how mankind fought back endless waves of the creatures of grimm with the swords they forged. Her students didn't quite share her enthusiasm for history.

"Kids these days. They jus' don't get it. They walk aroun' with the'r fancy gun-swords and rocket-spears an' such. Mankin' foun' victory on the en' of a plain ol' sword! They've got no appreciation for what ancient man went t'rough."

She sit's back down in her chair, propping her feet on her desk. Once again, her attention fell to an old book on her desk. The dusty, leather-bound tome was given to her by a friend a few months ago. The book was an ancient diary of sorts, filled to the brim with information of the history of ancient humans. That is, it would be, if it wasn't almost totally destroyed. Truly, her friend had "donated" the worthless piece of burnt paper as a quick way to rid himself of it. Nonetheless, the book still occupied more space than it was worth on her already overcrowded desk.

On a whim, she grabs the old piece of rubbish that called itself a book, opening it to a random, burnt page. Petra's eyes widened at what she saw. Expecting a burnt or otherwise ruined page, she was instead met with the single recoverable page in the entire tome. The page in question was a map. Across the top, written in ancient letters, information about the map and it's significance. Petra's feet couldn't carry her fast enough to the library to find a translator.


A notice hangs on the school bulletin board.

"Adventure! Danger! History!"

"Six lucky students will be given the opportunity to earn extra credit and learn the ways of ancient man and the ancient arts of blacksmithing!

The ancient mountain of Savage's Peak holds untold deposits of iron, tungsten and titanium! Join your fellow classmates on a trip through time!

Any student seeking additional information should visit Petra Evans in room 422."


So here's the deal, Six beacon students will come along with Ms. Evans to Savage's Peak to go on an exciting adventure of mining!

Evans...? He blinks at that and scowls, letting out a frustrated sigh and shrugging. Ok. So, perhaps this wouldn't be that bad. Perhaps Indigo kept things to herself and didn't tell anyone what didn't need to be known.

He puts his name down, carefully so.

OKAY FOLKS. THE PLOT IS KINDA ON HOLD UNTIL THE COMBAT UPDATE.
