Definition of "Team" [Closed]

"Alright, I'll keep it short." Sylvian begins to explain. "Those Kamaitachi are the fastest type of Grimm creature ever discovered. They are not very ferocious and aggressive, but if they feel something that could bring harm to their territory, they'll recklessly attack without hesitation. As they are too fast to normal human eyes, it seems that they leave a dark trail behind when moving, and they also use their sickle-like sharp claws to cut down enemies, hence the name of Kamaitachi. But the point is, they always move in packs, that's what makes them dangerous, but also easy to detect and avoid from distances, since it will bring noises and strong winds along."

"That's why I don't understand, this part of the forest is definitely their territory, but you did see it for yourselves. I really have no idea..."

Suddenly a strong gust blasts into the forest, heading toward the team, almost knock them off the ground.

"What the...?!" Sylvian panicked. "Everyone look out!!"

Vega remains as calm as he can and tries to asses the situation. It must be here! We have to be on the defensive! Vega begins to manipulate his wires, as he moves his hands the sets get thicker and thicker and weaves them together. He manages to a form small shields of wires and moves them over the others. The shields do not cover their entire bodies but will offer some sort of protection in case anything is attacking them. "Everyone let the shields cover you as much as possible!" He keeps his eyes open for whatever is coming toward them for the time being he can only feel a heavy presence and the red of the trees.

Malina ducks down as fast as she can and sends Manticore upward, spinning and slicing through the air. On the ground Malina takes out her two weapons and switches them to their melee for. 'To fast to see. Bullets are useless...' She says ducked down until she's sure the Grimm had passed.

Vega keeps an eye out into the forest and sees another of the Grimm coming this one seems to be acting slightly different from the first one. He quickly judges its movements and sees it is coming toward Sylvian. "Sylvian its coming toward you block it!"

Sylvian unconsciously raises her shields toward the incoming wind's direction when she heard Vega's shout.

In that brief moment appears a dark human figure swinging down its blade from the arms, cutting her defence in half, then vanishes into thin air again. Being left open, Sylvian is struck by a big sharp bone aiming right toward her chest, almost pinning her into the large tree behind. All of that happens in just a blink of the eyes. If not thanks to the heavy armory she's wearing, it'd have been an instant kill.

"Vega!! Take everyone out of here!! They are using the forest as covers!! We won't stand a chance fighting them here!!" Sylvian takes the bone out of the armor's crack on her left chest, then follows Vega's lead to find a clear field to deal with the mysterious Grimm.

Vega scans the area and sees no other attack incoming he sees his chance, he releases the shields and retracts his wires. "Nothings coming we have to head to the clearing! Cover each others backs!" As they all run in the direction of the clearing Vega constantly turns back making sure his teammates are safe and they are not being followed by the Grimm that attacked them.

The gust keeps following them but seeing no chance to strike. Somehow the team made it to the clear zone near a small stream. Without any covering, the gust begins to show its true nature.

As they leave the forest, those Grimm creatures reveal themselves in day light. Kamaitachi as expected, three of them. But the dreadful part is, they're much larger than the original species. The Kamaitachi are Grimm foxes, which are just a little bit bigger than dogs. But each of them is at least 8 feet tall, with slim body and extremely muscular limbs. Although their bodies have the same build and are not covered much with the bone-feats, each of them has traits of its own. One of them has huge fists covered with bones, the other has its arms turns into somewhat mantis-like sickle blades, and the last has bunches of sharp bones coming out of the spines. Moreover, they seems to move in some kind of formation.

Vega prepares his wires as they Kamaitachi stand before them. "Sylvian I assume these were the grimm you were referring to." Vega quickly looks over the Grimm and notices they have distinct differences. "I have to be perfectly honest they are much different than I had anticipated. It seems like they each have a specific way of fighting each one will probably compliment the other. We must remain on the defensive until we can have an idea of which does what."

Malina looked at the three before flicking a switch to change her weapons to their melee mode. "Looks like those two have better melee augmentations then the third." She said while nodding to the two Grimm with a bone plate armor around its fists and the other with a scythe like appendage. She the pointed Summer's Blaze at the Grimm with bone spikes protruding from its back. "We take out the weakest first. Deal with the others last. Just avoid them." As she spoke, plans raced through her head on how to defeat the other two, alongside the obvious plan of paralyzing then poison.

As Malina was saying, the Fist and the Scythe Kamaitachi charge in to launch their attack. It's too fast to keep up, but without the forest covering, it's easier to tell where they are and who is their target. The Fist charges to Malina's position, but then quickly changes its direction to Muzen and Sylvian, whom are standing in a straight line on its attack.

"It won't work this time you damn foxes!!" Sylvian grabs Muzen's cape and throw him up into the air, then dodges the smash from the Fist, assuming the 2nd strike from the Scythe one is coming right up, just like the last time thay did. She's gonna parry it and take the Scythe down immediately if it does.

Looking over to Sylvian he sees that she seems capable by herself. "Malina we should take down the one that's by itself like you said." Vega draws his sword while keeping one hand ready to use wires. "What do you say paralysis and decapitation?" Vega saw that these attacks were too fast to just react to. It would be better to have the Kama react to them and putting them on the defensive.

"Paralyze and kill, like last time!" Malina yells as she dives off to one side with Manticore swiping toward the Grimm's body as she did so. After recovering from the roll she adjusts her weapons and fires four ice rounds toward the Grimm's fist before quickly jumping backwards.

Seeing that Malina's rounds had frozen the Grimm to the ground if only partially he sent out his wires to finish the job. Vega manipulates his wires into thick sets and wraps them around the Grimm hoping to further immobilize it. "Malina unless it has some kind of truck up its sleeve I believe its not going anywhere." Vega readies his blade aiming for slash to help Malina in paralyzing the Grimm.

"Come here you fox!" At the other side of the fight, the Scythe is going full speed to cut down Sylvian in the midair. But she's full awared of this, and charges her aura into her shields, parrying it. The shields and the scythes connect, making a very loud clashing sound. The Scythe's speed and velocity are all stopped, due to Sylvian's semblance that absorbed all the impact's force. Chance to take him down. "Now take th..."

Sylvian's eyes suddenly tense up, as that Scythe simply turns around, like it was preparing for this, and use her as a footing to launch itself directly into the Spine, where Malina and Vega is.

"Malina, Vega!!! Watch out behind!!!" Sylvian yells desperately with all her might, and voice trembling in fear.

Malina jumps into the air in an attempt to hold herself to the Grimm's spine so she could poison is, however, while she is in mid-air she hears Sylvian call out. Malina turns her head to see one of the other two Grimm hurtling toward herself and Vega. "Son of a bitch!" She yelled out as she spun her body, lifted up Summer's Blaze up in front of her face and attempted to curl herself up as to reduce the area in which she could be hit.

Vega looks over to the side and sees the Fist coming towards them no doubt trying to help its team. He looks over to Malina still in the air and curses the situation. I need to get out they're on both sides but I can't leave Malina she'll be surrounded. "Damn" Vega quickly sheathes his sword allowing for use of both his wire sets. With one set he moves his wires off the Spine and sends the to Malina wrapping her slightly he pulls her in as quickly as he can and catches her. Hoping the Fist would be more concerned with its ally in the crater Vega starts running away from the situation and heads toward Sylvian and Muzen. "Malina carrying you around and running is not easy you're too heavy."

Malina dropped on her own to her feet as they approached Muzen and Sylvian. As she drops to the ground Manticore comes around with the stinger inches from Vega's face before Malina looks around at the Grimm around them. "You are so lucky we're in a fight." She says before Manticore slunk back behind her and she spun to face the Grimm, ready for the next strike.

Sylvian suddenly holds Malina and Vega tight in her arms, bursting tears out of her silvery eyes. Startled, but they cannot do much because of her strong but gentle grip. "Thank God... Thank God you were okay... Thank God...!" She cries, like a baby just got out of her fear. Muzen and Malina don't know what's happening, but seems like Vega does.

'What the hell?' Malina thought to herself as she was embraced. She then looked over to Muzen and mouthed the words. "Why the hell are we doing this." She then pushed her self out of the grasp of Sylvian. "...Yeah..that's great and all but there are Grimm here attacking us. Now is not the time for god damned emotions."

Vega, still in Sylvian's arms, hesitantly hugs her back and tries to calm her down. "Its okay Sylvian we're here. Nobody's hurt. See we're capable you don't have to worry anymore." Vega does his best to comfort Sylvian but is not sure on how well he is doing. He tries to turn, still in Sylvian's embrace, to face Muzen and Malina. He remembers the situation he's in and begins to blush. "She has a fear that someone will die because of her and was concerned for our safety. Malina she was just happy to see we were okay, she genuinely cares for your safety. The same goes for you too Muzen."  

"Thanks... Guys..." Sylvian wipes her tears and finds something is growing up again inside of her. Her long lost confidence has returned. She let go of Vega and disengages the Impala Gracia, then steps up standing side by side with the team.

At the other side, the Fist has broken the ice trapping the Spine, and the Scythe is painfully crawling up from the crater. It's not a lethal wound but it's deep enough to make all three of them enraged. The Kamatachis' eyes start to glow, as they prepare their plan for the next assault. The Spine then steps back from sights, as the remaining two seperate and move with full speed around the battlefield, looking for a chance to attack. Wind begins to rise as they moves faster and faster.

Vega still has a bit of red in his cheeks from the sudden hug but pushes those thoughts to the back of his mind as the Kama begin to move. Vega tries to follow their movements but even his eyes can no longer keep up. "We need to immobilize them, if we don't we'll never be able to land a hit." Vega turns back and looks at Sylvian remembering their fight back at the gym. "We could always go with the idea you had when we first sparred. While I was in the air I had no way to counter."
