Definition of "Team" [Closed]

"Thanks... Guys..." Sylvian wipes her tears and finds something is growing up again inside of her. Her long lost confidence has returned. She let go of Vega and disengages the Impala Gracia, then steps up standing side by side with the team.

At the other side, the Fist has broken the ice trapping the Spine, and the Scythe is painfully crawling up from the crater. It's not a lethal wound but it's deep enough to make all three of them enraged. The Kamatachis' eyes start to glow, as they prepare their plan for the next assault. The Spine then steps back from sights, as the remaining two seperate and move with full speed around the battlefield, looking for a chance to attack. Wind begins to rise as they moves faster and faster.

Vega still has a bit of red in his cheeks from the sudden hug but pushes those thoughts to the back of his mind as the Kama begin to move. Vega tries to follow their movements but even his eyes can no longer keep up. "We need to immobilize them, if we don't we'll never be able to land a hit." Vega turns back and looks at Sylvian remembering their fight back at the gym. "We could always go with the idea you had when we first sparred. While I was in the air I had no way to counter."

"To break one's source of strength is to break his link with the ground..." Sylvian reminds them of her fighting motto. "But the problem is we don't know when and whom they will attack, and I dont think I'm able to lift them off the ground in one hit. Do you guys have any idea?"

The Spine suddenly fires a big bone arrow aiming at Sylvian. She easily deflects it into the air with a simple arm swing. Looking at the deflected bone air spinning and flying upto the air, an idea comes to Sylvian's mind.

"Vega, I'm pretty sure your wires are very durable, right?" Then she gives a brief glance to the others. "Malina, can you take care of at least one of them alone for a while?"

"Hmph, two of these? Easily." Malina says as she reloads her weapons and positions Manticore over her shoulder before fire a fire and explosive shot toward the scythe and fist Grimm. Following her action she began to dash to the left, away from the team, in an attempt to lead the Grimm away. Behind her, Manticore cycles to its paralyzing poison.

As soon as Malina move, they Kamaitachis quickly surround her and begin their assault. Both the Scythe and the Fist swiftly switch place with each other, always attempting to strike her blind-spot. However, it's not working well, as while they're getting faster and faster, Malina can dodge them all with her unique semblance. But at the same time she cannot do any single counter attack due to their near-perfect formation and the waiting Spine behind the scene.

"Flashy, eh...? I love it too." Sylvian sighs with a smile on her face, then unlocks all of her dust valves and releases her tremendous aura. "Alright, time to go all out!! I'll go and help Malina! Muzen, you go and keep that bone-launching fox in check! Vega, use your wires to surround and trap those foxes while we are holding them busy! We will take them off this ground!" As she was saying, the Impala Gracia pieces combine into one, then transform itself into a very large boomerang, nearly as big as a full-grown person. Sylvian leaves it in front of Vega, waiting for his response. As he knods his head, she quickly charges her semblance and launch herself into the fight with a destructive dash.

"I'm going to have to use all of my wires for this one." Vega closes his eyes and begins to concentrate on the wires, he releases his wires and begins to manipulate them. At first they begin to flail wildly about as Vega focuses to have each of them do his bidding. Eventually the wild movements are replaced by a synchronized swaying. "Not often that I have to use all of my wires but its should be working perfectly." Vega focuses his sight on the battle and sends his wires toward the Kama. He makes sure to keep the wires as spread out as possible making them harder to see, he places the wires at various points around the battle where the Kama are sure to pass. Vega silently waits for the Kama to trip the wires he set as traps. When they do he quickly pulls the wires together into the thick sets and they move toward the Kama to ensnare them.

As all of the creatures of Grimm launch their attacks an Malina runs, her aura begins to glow a deep purple glow around her body. Suddenly, as the Grimm's attacks near her body Malina's aura explodes outward in a large, powerful, and spherical wave outward at great force slamming into the fist and scythe Grimm, knocking the backwards as well as the spikes shot by the spike Grimm, sending the spikes flying backwards toward the Grimm at greater speed than before. After the wave and dissipated Malina faltered for a moment in her running before correcting herself and firing more shots at the two Grimm nearest to her.

The aura explosion doesn't do much harm to them, but in that brief moment, as their perfect formation is broken, the Kamaitachi decides to retreat again to have another plan of assault. However....

"Good job!" Sylvian takes that chance to grab the escaping Scythe and holds it down to the ground. "You are not going anywhere!!" She shouts as her dust energy turns from light blue to dark and spins all around her arms. The Scythe Kamaitachi struggles with all of its might, but the dust-enhanced grip from Sylvian completely stops it from moving, even for an inch. "Finish him! Malina!"

Upon hearing her name yelled she turned her head to see the scene behind her. Suddenly she cycled the poison chamber to the quick killing poison and jabbed Manticore into the ground, spinning on her foot as she did so, and started rushing back towards the Grimm. As she closed in on the beast she launched herself into the air and down, feet first, onto it's face. As she landed Manticore shot forward, stabbing into the Grimm's neck. Malina spun her metallic tail around inside of the beast's neck before pulling it out and putting her gun up to one of the bone armor's eye holes and pulling the trigger, firing an explosive shot.

"That was a quite brutal but it gets the job done I suppose." As Vega watches Malina and Sylvian from afar after the defeat of the Scythe he notices the Fist has gotten larger and much more fearsome. As the Fist begins to attack his teammates Vega knows he has to act quickly. This won't stop it but it will slow it down! With only one target to focus on Vega is able to have much better control over his wires. He sends them toward the Fist Wrapping themselves around the Fist's body and arms trying to prevent the attack. "Sylvian I slowed him down now's your chance!"

Being entangled, the Fist goes insane and tries to tear off the metal wires, but they just keep coming more and more, slowing it down from the track.

Sylvian stands up, hardly catching her breath, then takes Malina away from the spot and goes back to where Vega is standing. "Looks like mine... was not a bad idea, eh?" She says, as Vega's wires start to connect her boomerang-form Impala Gracia with the ones entagling the Fist. Sylvian charges her dust power once again, light-blueish this time, then grabs the boomerang and launches it in to the air with all of her remaining strength. "I'll leave the rest... to you guys..." Sylvian says, the collapses with exhaustion. The boomerang sends the Fist directly into the air, and with that it'll be completely helpless when falling down.

The Spine, from far away, catching up the situation, releases all of its bones to cover its body, and transforms into a spiky boulder with sharp bone spikes. It rolls out and destroys everything in its path, which suprised Muzen for a brief moment. No feints this time, the Spine is now aiming its attack directly where the team is standing, desperately trying to make them leave the spot where the Fist would be landed.

As the Grimm is knocked off trick by Muzen, Malina dives off to the lift to avoid its new track. As she lifts herself up off of the ground she notices Muzen laid flat out several meters away. "Son of a bitch..." She muttered to herself as she ran over to him. Blood was seeping of his left side as she ran to his right side and grabbed his right arm and put it over her shoulder, lifting him up. "Come on...there's still one left to kill...can't let you die yet." She said as she began to hurry herself and Muzen away from the Spine Grimm. As she carried Muzen, Manticore came around to Muzen's left side, cycled the chamber to the sedative, and made a small cut into Muzen's side.

See as the Fist was in the air with no support, Vega retracted his wires aiming to use the Spine to his advantage. Two birds with one stone seems very appealing right now. Vega ran toward where he suspected the Fist would land and began to prepare to face the Spine. He released his wires and began to weave them all together. Each spools worth of wire formed together to form long singular cables. "Still don't have a lot of practice with this one." Using these massive sets of wires Vega begins hitting the spine trying to get its attention and come toward him. "I have a bone to pick with you!" ...I just punned. I hate myself.

With his wires still attached to the Spine Vega tries to think of a plan to kill it. Not strong enough to kill it myself. If only Sylvian were around but she's already done enough. Vega notices the Fist is still coming down toward the ground carried by the boomerang. As he notes the force at which the Fist will hit he thinks of a new plan. It could work in theory but putting into practice may be a whole other problem. Vega sends control into his wires on the Spine and sends them to the Boomerang. As the wires attach he pulls them tightly together forming a connection between the two. Vega pulls with all his strength trying to lead the boomerang and the fist toward the Spine in order to kill it. "Come on! Two birds, one stone!"

With the lead of Vega's wire, Sylvian's boomerang descends straight toward the entangled Spine while carrying the Fist down along its path. A big crashing sound rises upon the impact, echoing with the beasts' bellow. After the dust has faded away, both of the Kamaitachi are now dead, with the Impala Gracia piercing through their corpses...

"... urgh... Is it over yet?" Sylvian starts to regain her consciousness, but still not able to move yet due to the exhaustion. She tries to look around with her eyes. Those beasts are gone, and their corpses are half-evaporated. There is Malina treating wounded Muzen. "Muzen's hurted?" But she feels relieved, as he seems okay for now, but then panicked right after: "Wait, Vega too, where is he right now?"

After defeatung the Kama Vega had made his way over to Sylvian as she lay on the floor rested. He looked over to Muzen and Malina and thought it better to not be a third wheel. He instead took a seat next to Sylvian. As he sat next to her he noticed how uncomfortable the ground must have been for her. She deserves a better rest.  Vega took a quick look making sure Malina and Muzen weren't watching and placed Sylvian's head on his lap. After a few moments Vega notices Sylvian had awoken and seemed panicked. He placed his hand on hers trying to bringnher some sortnof comfort. "Its okay were all here and safe. The Grimm are dead and we won." Not being able to hide the joy in his voice, Vega squeezed Sylvian's a little tighter. "You did great out there. Thank you for being an amazing team member...Syl." I hope ahe doesn't mind me calling her that.

"He's safe too. Thank god..." Sylvian now finally finds her relief when she heard Vega's voice. This is the first time no one got seriously injured when she's involved, which makes her feels like she was reborn anew. Enjoying the sentimental moment, Sylvian suddenly realizes that she is now resting on Vega's lap. She immediately jumps out, completely forgets her current exhaustion and muscle pain. "Damn it damn it damn it!! How the hell this is happening?! What did he do?! What did I do?! What should I do?!..." This is embarassing on so many levels. She is now wishing that she has rather been killed in the battle than being in a situation like this.

Realizing he had acted too familiar with Sylvian Vega removed the joy from his face and reverting back to an emotionless look. I should have known taht was a mistake. Well it is a mistake I won't soon make twice. Vega stands from his spot and dust himself off before looking over toward Sylvian. "I apologize for my behavior Sylvian. I was trying to help you rest but I see I chose the wrong method to do so. It was rude and over familiar, please think nothing of it." Vega bows in apology to Sylvian and walks toward her. "That does not however change the face you need rest. You've used up a great deal of energy fighting the Grimm and should lie down at the very least." Vega moves a ways off from Sylvian trying to give her some space to rest.

"We're not love birds, damn it!! Ouch...!" Sylvian shouts, and the muscle pain starts killing her. As Vega tries to help her stand up, she embarassingly avoids him or making eye contact with him. Thanks to Muzen, the situation is getting more and more ridiculous.

"You know..." Malina said as she finished applying the sedative and sat back with her hands on the ground behind her. "...If I recall correctly you were drooling all over her yesterday." Manticore moved away from Muzens arm and moved behind her again. "The arm is useless now. I've sedated the pain for now but...once we get back to beacon go to the infirmary." She looked over at the girl who had forced her to do this job before looking back down to Muzen. "I don't like her..."
