Kingdom of Madness; Briefing. [Plot]

"Can't say I have. But I'm new around here, so that's not surprising. Why?"
Joe grabbed a bottle of beer and opened it with his teeth. Spitting out the cap, he took a swig.

"No reason...Just a but curious to see if you were local or not..." She thought to herself, "That's an obvious lie, he knows exactly what I was talking about...but I can't be sure just yet...I'll be prepared to strike him any moment..." Rosa still stood behind the bar holding the pistol behind her back. She would look over at Zwei and say, "Do you happen to enjoy cleaning up bodies? Because someone has to do it, and it ain't gonna be me..."

"I'll do it, if it gets you to put that gun away." Said Joe.
He takes another swig of beer.
"I'm sure I do seem quite suspicious to you, considering, but I'm unarmed and clearly not a close quarters kind of person" he says, motioning to his arms. Not exactly brawny.
"And you're not being very subtle about that gun."

Rosa was still quite suspicious of the man, but decided it would be best to let her guard down a little. She put the gun under the counter of the bar where she could grab it within a seconds notice. She put her hands up saying, "Guns down, go do your thing." She was sort of relieved while angry that he wasn't someone she would want to kill. She sighs and puts her head in her arms on the bar counter. One hand of course still under the bar next to the gun.

"My thanks." Says Joe, with a bow.
He hops over the bar and peruses the liquor collection.
"Anyone mind if I get rid of this? It's absolutely awful." he asks, picking out a low quality vodka.

Rosa nods signaling a 'fine'. She says, "Phh, I don't care, it's not my bar anyways, but I guess if you want to trash it go ahead and be my guest." She looks over to Zwei who seems to be out of it and pretty drunk by now. She sighs and says to herself, "People these days, they have such a low tolerance for alcohol...I mean it usually takes me at least a 12 pack to get drunk...but this kid is gone in a few drinks..." She turns around putting her body in front of the location where the gun was so the man wouldn't see it. She held her hands in front of her playing with an empty wine glass.

"Alrighty then"
Joe grabs a couple bottles of the stuff and a box of matches from the shelf.
Placing them on the counter, he takes another swig of beer, finishing the bottle.
Joe begins moving the bodies into the bathroom.
'I'll be adding this to the list of things I never expected to be doing'
After disabling the alarm systems (including fire, of course) he grabs the bottles and matches, dowses the bodies in vodka, strikes a match and lets caveman gold to its thing.
He takes a seat back at the bar
"I think you owe me a drink for that" he laughs.

Rosa looks under the bar grabbing one of the 'higher class' beers. She tosses it to him hoping he can catch it. "Catch, I heard this stuffs really good, why don't you take some home with ya when you leave." Rosa gives a genuine smile indicating she's let down her guard more than she should have.

"Cheers" Says Joe, catching the beer and opening it.
He takes a swig. "So what's your story? Bad break up? Death of a loved one? Just a good night to get wasted?"

"Everyday is a good day to get wasted...but other than that I was just bored and had nothing else to do, so I said hey, why don't I go murder some bar patrons and get free drinks!" She put her finger to her chin again in thought, thinking about how weird and psychotic what must have sounded to someone who didn't know her personally. "That must sound a bit odd to you I bet, it's not everyday you have a chat with someone who just murders people on a daily basis..."

"You'd be surprised. You're pretty mellow compared to my boss" Says Joe, shuddering.
"Poor Finn"
Joe shakes his head and takes a sip of his drink.
"Wow, this is pretty good. You ever had one?"

Surely enough the masked boy awoke for a moment to lift a drink into the air and slide his mask up to drink the contents of the bottle "Yeash!" he mumbled before passing out yet again and falling out of his chair onto the floor with his mask still up. Revealing some of his scars.

Rosa looks to the man saying, "Have I ever had one? That's a funny question. I drink these things almost everyday!" Rosa looks to Zwei with a look of partial disgust on her face. She says to the man, "Should we...er clean him up?"

"That depends on your definition. I could drag him out to the rest of the bodies, if you want?" Responds Joe, seeing opportunity.

Rosa thought for a moment and didn't want to risk another kidnapping. She said to the man, "Eh, you know what, nevermind I'll take care of the kid." She turned to further inspect the man attempting to get a good look for any concealed objects or weapons but found nothing suspicious looking in plain sight.

"Alright then"
Joe finishes his beer and throws the bottle to the nearest bin.
"Well, I'd better be off. But before I go..." Joe reaches into his jacket, searching around inside. He grips the walkie talkie and pushes the 'Talk' button twice without taking the device out of his jacket.
"Sorry, gimme a mo, I know it's in here somewhere... Ah, here it is!"
'I'd better get a pretty large bonus for this...'
He takes hold of the canister in his jacket and detonates it.
The gas explodes outward, covering over half of the room.
As Joe breathes in the gas, he starts to feel sleepy...

Schrödinger walked behind Lí all the way to the docks and was soon back in the place he had imagined himself at a few minutes ago, he soon found the spot he was stood at earlier. He imagined himself sitting atop one of the crates where he swung his legs over the edge, looking down at Lí. Before long he had grown bored "I'm bored, maybe ve should go valk around in town, zat vould be fun und ze kidnappers vould probably find us easier."

Lí considers his impromptu partner's idea, but decides against going with it, instead moving to the edge of the dock and taking a seat there. "I'd rather take the time to enjoy the view," he says, reclining back slightly and resting his weight on his arms to look out over the water, content to watch the horizon until something happens.

Schrödinger sighed and pouted at Lí's decision, but after a while he too was also watching the waves, he watched as the moonlight reflected off of the rising and falling masses of water. He eventually laid back and put his hands behind his head, using them as a pillow, he gazed at the stars. He always liked star gazing, it was the only non-hyperactive thing he enjoyed. Before long he was fast asleep, laying on top of the crate.

With the silence present at the docks, Lí heaves a sigh of content, trying to take his mind off the inevitable trouble to come. He focuses his attention on the waves rolling up, noticing a few of the smaller vessels moored bobbing up and down in the water with his peripherals. Enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, Lí eventually adopts a soft smile, truly content for the moment, despite the trials he knows to be coming.

The man in the van jumped a little when his walkie talkie clicked twice.
"I guess he was havin' trouble."
Mr Van-Man got out of the van and went into the pub
"JEEEZUS, smells like burnt ass in here. What the hell did you do?" He asked Joe's unconscious body.
He walked over to Joe and gave him a good kick in the ribs.
"Wish I could do that more."
He looked at the three people in the bloodstained pub, trying to decide which one would be the lightest.



After loading the two crazies into the back with the others, and Joe into the passenger seat the van, he grabbed the walkie talkie that was linked to his boss
"Got two more, and Joe got himself. Where are the last two? Even we get tired."
"Last two are up by the docks. Sending co-ordinates now"
"Got it."
Pulling away from the Pub, Van-Man headed towards the co-ordinates given him.
He pulled up a block away from his targets. Walking the rest with the canisters loaded into his jacket and the crossbow over his shoulder, Van-Man approached the two victims casually.
"Nice view, innit?"

"Quite lovely, really. Very peaceful," Lí answers, not even bothering to turn around and face the voice. "And what is it that brings you out this way, if I may ask?"

"Just boring old business."
Van-Man approaches Li and Schrodinger further.
"What about you?" He asks, about three meters away from them.

Lí hears the man stepping closer, but forces himself to remain calm. "Just looking to enjoy the view, that's all." Still looking away, he listens more closely, waiting for a rustle of fabric or any other tell that something is happening.

Van-Man kicks a rock into the water.
"Quite an enjoyable view, as well." he says, looking at nearby porno poster.
He stretches, his back, cracking a few joints and dropping a canister as he does.
"Well, I'd best be off. Enjoy the view while it lasts." he says.
He walks away, as the canister blows.

Lí hears the canister hit the ground, and heaves a sigh. "Not very subtle, are you?" he snarks a moment before the canister detonates. Rolling his eyes, the effeminate man shifts, launching himself out into the water to make a showing of resistance. Just before plunging beneath the surface, he shifts again, moving himself toward a separate section of the dock. Midflight, he reorients his body, sharply cutting into the water rather than creating a huge splash.

Schrödinger, unaware of the gas, continues sleepin, even as the gas rises up the crate and fills his lungs. Schrödinger didn't react to it whatsoever, but continued sleeping, now in a deeper sleep than before, unable to be awoken until the gas' effect wears off. Due to the deep sleep he was in, Schrödinger began to snore, not a very low pitched snore, more like a woman's snore, but it was still quite loud.
