Kingdom of Madness; Briefing. [Plot]

Lí hears the canister hit the ground, and heaves a sigh. "Not very subtle, are you?" he snarks a moment before the canister detonates. Rolling his eyes, the effeminate man shifts, launching himself out into the water to make a showing of resistance. Just before plunging beneath the surface, he shifts again, moving himself toward a separate section of the dock. Midflight, he reorients his body, sharply cutting into the water rather than creating a huge splash.

Schrödinger, unaware of the gas, continues sleepin, even as the gas rises up the crate and fills his lungs. Schrödinger didn't react to it whatsoever, but continued sleeping, now in a deeper sleep than before, unable to be awoken until the gas' effect wears off. Due to the deep sleep he was in, Schrödinger began to snore, not a very low pitched snore, more like a woman's snore, but it was still quite loud.

'I guess this is why Joe was having problems...'
Van-Man pulls out the crossbow and loads a sleep dart into it, waiting for Li to resurface.
As son as he did, Van-Man would let a bolt fly straight towards Li's chest

Staying underwater, Lí pulls his way toward the dock until his lungs start burning in protest. When he starts rising up, he begins focusing his Aura until just below the surface again, then he shifts out, a veritable geyser of water following him in an attempt to fill the space he just vacated as he rockets into the air. Quickly vacating his lungs, he takes another deep breath to refill them as he reaches his apex.

Van-Man waits for a better opportunity.
'He can't keep that up for long'

Lí focuses his Aura again, then shifts, sending himself on an arcing path toward the man sent to kidnap him.

Van-Man let's the bolt fly at Li, and attempts to duck under Li.
Unfortunately for him, Li's boot caught him right in the eye as he ducked.

The bolt catches Lí in the chest, and he looses a sharp exhalation of pain. As he hits the ground, he tumbles, rolling over a few times, snapping the bolt lodged into him. He comes to a stop on his back, taking a few halting breaths before evening out and falling into unconsciousness.

Van-Man clutches his bloodied eye.
"DAMN that hurts. Here's hoping you get a week on the wall, you bastard!" he yells, giving Li a kick where the bolt had hit.

After Van-Man loaded Li and Schrodinger into the van and patched his eye, he picked up the walkie talkie.
"Last two assholes are in the van. on our way over to you now."
"Took you long enough. Hurry your ass over here!"
Van-Man put the van into drive and headed towards the edge of town...

((OOC that's it for the briefing. Sorry it took so long, I'd expected it would have finished ages ago. Laptop is still out of commission, so it'll still be a bit before I can start doing better posts. For now, however, here is the link to Day 1.))
