Is this how I die?

Isabelle's eyes were closed, but she could obviously still feel the Beowolves biting and clawing at her. She waited for death, until they suddenly stopped. Opening her eyes, she could see the surviving Beowolves retreating. Her body was covered in scratches and bites, and she was bleeding badly from where one had bitten on her thigh.

"W-why are they leaving?" she asked as she grabbed Isaac's hand.

"... No. No you... do not..."

As Leonius dropped to the ground, he looked at his sensor net's readings and the tactical computer's firing solution, and glanced at Isabelle a moment before another twenty four shots went airborne, the fleeing Beowolves the latest target of Leo's artillery strikes, the launching of which again shook the surroundings with the ungodly roar.

He didn't care too much if he annihilated the survivors, but the cannons descended upon his two opponents on the other side of the crater he had made, tilting his head at them. "... You two... did well... But now it appears... we must go back to business... and I happen... to have you both conveniently... within my arc of fire... and there is no threat... of my onslaught affecting my partner..." He gestured to Isabelle and El Taladro. "But she needs... medical attention... sooner rather than later... Perhaps surrender... would be a good course... of action..."

As the shells crash into the surrounding terrain, your sensor net determines that three more targets were downed, and 3 escaped.(If that doesn't math up to 18, tough cookies.) The threat of the beowolves appears to have passed.

The dangling beowolf wimpers in agony, hanging limply in the air. Its eyes, however, show no emotion in them. You can't tell if its wanting to be put out of its misery, or wanting to be put down so it can enjoy a meal.

"You monster! Keep the bombs off us, I'll yield. But I will get you for this. I promise you that." Issac helps Isabelle up and walks past Leo.

Isabelle stands up and walks with Isaac, not speaking and simply staring at the ground due to being still somewhat in shock.

Upon hearing Issac's words, his device activates, a loud alarm sound goes off for a moment, the signal of a surrender. Moments later, Isabelle's does the same thing, followed by both Leo's an El Taladro's devices signalling they are victorious. Their hit counter switches to 0 if it wasn't already. All four devices then say, "Awaiting placement in next match."

El Taladro tighten his grip, quickly snapping the things neck and letting its limp form fall to the ground. "Unyielding and timely. I think we are going to get along, Amigo." El Taladro says as he watches Isaac and Isabelle depart.

"Indeed... You did well... back there... my friend." Leonius chuckled. "Modus: Servator."

As his cannons folded up and he recalled his drones, he looked up at the sky.

"And now... we wait... to do it again..."
