The Practice Arena

Alder enters the arena, realising practice has begun. He notices a spar is commencing, he watches with much intent knowing Ozpin will want him to train this year

Aeden is able to block Lucina's swing but not without having his left arm go numb. "Quite the heavy hitter arent you" Aeden focuses his aura into his legs in order to increase his speed and charges for Lucina before she readies her sword aiming for a vital spot. (No problem)

Aoife enters the arena before looking around at the different people. Quickly finding a corner to stand in, she starts watching the fight between Aeden and Lucina to try and pick out any techniques they use for future reference.

Lucian is hit hard in her right arm which wields Celente. She drops to the ground. A small splatter of blood on the ground now.

Aeden hurries over to Lucina after noticing he drew blood. "I'm sorry Lucina are you okay? This is probably a good place to end the spar." Aeden offers his hand toward Lucina's good arm hoping to make amends.

Lucian grabs Aedan's hand. She says" Eh it's nothing but a scratch." Anyways getting on more important matters want to grab some food before bed? I'm about the only one who knows where to find the cafe" she said laughing.

"Food sounds like a great idea. Lead away" Aeden says with a smile, the thought of food causing a tiny bit of drool to form.

Kaitlyn is eating silently in the cafe hoping no one comes

'Yum this cake is tasty'

Syn curiously creeps into the arena and examines the small puddle of blood on the ground from the fight before.

"Whoa... That... Was... Cool." He snaps his focus to Aeden and Lucina as they walk away and tilts his head in awe. Replaying the flashy spar over and over in his mind, Syn forgets he's in the arena and is startled to see an eager challenger saunter towards him.

Right back to where his day began. Throughout the day Aeden has made both friends and foes and now hes back. Aeden readies Deception. "I used ice most of today but i guess that wont really do better start to switch things up." Aeden loads in an electric dust crystal and fires seeing how the dummy reacts.
"Hmm this dust would have excellent paralyzing properties and could be combined with ice. Interesting."

having watched the duel just moments ago, Myren was convinced that he'd made the right choice in coming to beacon. he smiled slightly to himself as he saw the armored individual move to check out the recently vacated sparring field. He begins walking towards him, swinging his arms around to limber them up.
"hey there, did you catch that fight just now?" he asks, left hand resting on the pommel of his sword.

Syn looks up to the stranger, immediately feeling short.

"Yeah! Did you see it too? It was so co- hey uh.. there's a giant bug on your arm.." Syn points towards Myren's left arm, while slowly backing away.

Jet walks into the arena, stretching his back and legs while looking around for a good practice target.

As more people start to come in to the arena Aeden begins having a hard time concentrating. He decides its time to take a little break and reverts back to his hobby of people watching.

Jet backs up to a far wall and slides Paladin off of his arm and puls it into its thrower form. He inserts a canister of white dust into the top and latches it in, then points it at the ground right behind him. "Oh man I hope this works... Please please work..."

Kirkka walks around the arena observing the various people showing up. She spots Jet in the corner, manipulating his weapon in some way, but can't make out what he is doing or what he said. She walks slowly in his direction for a better view, while maintaining an eye on everyone else.

"I hope nobody makes another mess after I just cleaned this place up. Who gets blood on the floor and just leaves it there!? Gah..." Kirkka says to no one in particular.

He pulls the trigger, the white dust launching him high and fast. He lets out a scream that's a mix of terror and laughter as he soars through the air and lands on the other side of the arena, wide-eyed and a bit dizzy. "Well... It worked..." He shakily says as he falls on his back, panting and breathing slowly.

"That was unexepected." Aeden states after watching another student fly high into the air. "I need to know more about this." Aeden walks over to the one who just landed and notices its Katlyn's friend Jet. "That was amazing. How did you do that?"

Kirkka approaches the two and begins sweeping around Jet's feet while inspecting Jet's weapon. "You probably used a little bit too much dust in that shot. A little less and you would have been able to control your trajectory and landing better. There better not be a ton of dust left over where you took off either."

"Well..." He says, struggling to stand. "White dust pushes things basically right? So I thought 'I wonder how that would work with my dustthrower'. Turns out, just like I expected. Except its really harsh and violent... I'll need to get some practice with it." He stands and holds out his hand. "I'm Jet. Jet Nadapil. And don't worry, Paladin generally uses all of the dust in the shot."

"So its hard to control. I see a lot of potential with white dust but in small quantities" "Names Aeden by the way sorry about attacking you and Katlyn earlier" Aeden shakes Jets hand.

"It's all good. I just saw her being attacked and my reflex was to protect. Sorry if I hurt you or anything." Jet pulls the dust from the feeder in Paladin.

"I'm fine I was more worried about Lucina but she didnt seem to be hurt  so its all good. Too bad about what happened to Joe."

El Toladro eneters the arena with his hood up, trying not to attract attention to himself. There was only so much he could do, however, considering his rather large size and the lucha mask on his head. He took a quick glance around and made his way towards the punching bags, where he dropped his gym bag and proceed to punch the bag methodically over and over again.
"Good form comes from muscle memory. Muscle memory is learned by the thousand."
El Toladro took his mentor's advice quite literally.

{(is there some kind of schedule i'm not aware of? Also, it's kinda late and i have 8am's tomorrow, so i might just conk out at any time. If i do, it's probably safe to assume El Toladro just punched that bag for hours on end.)}

"Are you talking about when someone bled all over my arena floor and then didn't clean it up?" Kirkka says after taking a step back from the two.
