Robin Vimana, David Maloney

Robin...just stopped, "Oh my god." She muttered, in her life, she had never met that many Fanunus, as a result, Robin just thought they were people with animal parts. Nothing too strange, granted, a few looked a bit scary, but still. So hearing David's story just made her surprised, and angry.

"Why...Why would they do that?" She demanded to know.

"Simple, he was different." David began to hear that voice again. 'Release me.' "Now when I get mad or see a friend in trouble, I see his still body, and something bad comes out of me. Real bad."

Robin put a hand on his shoulder, and gave him a sad smile.

Then, without a word, turned around and continued on their path.

David looked up and followed to staying silent the rest of the way.

"Ideas?" David said watching for signs of attack.

Robin looked around, "The hard part is, we don't know which way to go." She said, "I think we can get past one, but if we get a dead end, we'll be trapped." She said, recalling their first turn.

David thought to himself. "I might have an idea." He reached in his bag and grabbed a flash bang. "If it is a dead end, we can use these to run by them on the way back. Since they are blind the have to use sounds to find prey, but they might smell the prey to? The calls yours."

Robin nodded, "Alright...Let's go to the left." She said, looking at the closest Burrowham, "On three, and not that three and then go crap. One...Two....Three!"

David looked behind him. 'Crap.' "Move now!" He said as began down the left tunnel.

Robin was, in fact, much faster then David in a foot race. Moving as soon as the Burrowham started it's own trudge, Robin was already halfway to the one at the left tunnel. "Up and over." She muttered, jumping on the Grimm's claws and using that as springboard as she jumped over it.

David jumped over the Burrowham altogether. He hated running, but hated dying more. He managed to stay at least 6 feet back from her.

David looks at them. "Crap, Okay, Icarus online." Icarus activated. "Defense stance 6." His wings fold inward and has the sharp feathers out. "I should be able to hold off until I get help. Just to be safe." David readies his hand cannon." 'Compressed air shots. Should keep them from advancing....hopefully.' David knew not to use it unless he was it was the only resort.

Robin slid against the ground as the rocks collapsed. Twisting to look as the last rock settled in, her clear eyes' widened, "David!" She yelled, running to the rocks to try and pull them apart.

David was worried now. "HELP ME!" Every time a beast got close he pushed them away using Icarus. "Crap. Now what."

Robin did notice the odd screeching, her teammate's plight temporally, she looked around to see where it was coming from.

"That's right keep swiping, and cutting yourselves." David had the sharp edges of his wings slanted in a way, that every time they attacked they hurt themselves. 'I could really use help soon.' "I hope you bleed out you blind bugger."

Robin threw herself under the acid spit by diving to the ground in front of her, curling into a ball and rolling with it, she gained a few feet from Echolacers. Separating Vera Volare in a smooth motion and sliding to a halt, she now held twin swords against the Bat Grimm.

David knew he had no where to run. His defense was holding at least. "Well, I guess I'm stuck here." David was still where he had left off. 'I wonder how Robins doing? Probably fine.' David had an idea. "If I could get one under the blades I could knock his head off. What are the chances of that happening." Icarus heard his statement and began to run diagnostics. A statement appeared on his HUD. (DON'T TRY IT!). "That was rhetorical Icarus." David just decided to hold his ground.

Robin jumped back, shielding herself with her swords by shifting her swords in a X position in front of her body. Recalling what the information said about these things, and not really interested in trying the acid out for herself, Robin decided that the best course of action was evasion the best tactic until she could attack.

David saw one of the Burrowhams beginning to dig. 'Bingo.' David pulled out his emergency flare gun. "I hope this works." He fires the gun into the hole where he saw the Burrowham go, while keeping Icarus in his defensive stance. 'If that didn't work plan B.'
