David listened to the two. "Not to rush or anything these grim smell awful enough, and being dead does not help." David was beginning to turn a bit green. 'They smell like rotten fish rubbed in vinegar.'

"We're moving as fast as we can." Lycus said as he moved more of the rubble out of the way. A small hole was starting to form in the rocks. "[color:0bac=FFBF00]There's a ton of rocks here, alright? And maybe you should've killed them further away." He murmured the last part under his breath.

"I really didn't want to start another cave in, and also what did you guys run into so far?" David said as he carefully moved rocks. 'Watch for key stones. Don't need another cave in.'

The students actions appear to be paying off. There are still a few rocks that could make the situation worse, but largely they seem to be making progress.

"Alright, just a little bit more," said Axel. "To answer your question, David, we were pretty lucky. We haven't run into anything yet. I'm pretty sure that's going to change soon, but oh well, at least we had that first bit going for us, which is nice."

"We had to pass by a swarm of Salabinders." Robin said, showing Axel her hand which still had the scales on it, "Got these as a little souvenir."

After several more minutes of work, the students manage to clear away enough of the debris to have a small opening. All three of the students on the wrong side should be able to crawl through it.

David looked through the hole. "You guys came that way right?"

"Yes, that's the way we came. I assume the way move forward is towards the side that you are in." Axel took his backpack and pushed it through the opening. After it was through, he crawled to the other side.

David helped Axel up. "Let's see we came from....right so we go left." David bent down and held his right hand out to help whoever was next through the hole up.

Lycus climbed up next through the hole. "So any idea of what's next?" he asks as he makes his way to the other side. "Because we have fought absolutely nothing so far...."

Robin shuffled through the hole, "Well, we dealt with three on the list so far, so what's the fourth...Oh yeah." Smacking a fist in her palm, she turned to David, "You got any water? One of my swords is stuck in a salabinder."

David reached in his bag. "Hang...on. Got it." David grabbed some water out of his bag. "Here you go." He said handing Robin the water.

Robin took it and went back to the other side of the cave. After a few seconds, she came back out, this time with her other sword on her back. "Thanks." She said, handing David the water bottle.

"Alright let's get going....don't want to be stuck in here any longer than we need to be..." Lycus said as he took lead and walked down the tunnel. "I hope we're getting close to the end....." He said to himself as he loaded another flare into Ozzy. '.....There better BE an end..'

The students continue on their trek through the tunnels, coming across no further danger. Every few minutes, they can hear and feel a rumbling coming from below their feet. The terrain seems to be evening out, and the tunnel is becoming slightly wider.

Perhaps an hour after joining together as a group, the students come across a massive doorway, with the steel doors already wide open. Beyond the frame is a gigantic cavern, perhaps three-hundred feet in diameter and at least that tall, if not taller. Straight ahead from your doorway, you are able to make out another, this one with the doors closed. To the left and right, you spot two more sets of doorways, also with their doors closed. The fact that you are able to see anything at all in this massive cavern is slightly concerning, though you just assume it's natural light coming from the stone. Or magic. You can decide, really. I just wanted to put something here.

The rumbling in the area intensifies, and seems to be coming from directly below you now. Based on information you currently have, you might just assume it's some Burrowhams. But this seems capable of causing an earthquake, and certainly seems much larger than anything you've encountered before.

"This rumbling," began Axel, "It's too great to be a several Burrowhams. It has to be either at least a decently-sized horde or something different much larger entirely." Axel walked toward the three doors at the end of the cavern and called out, "Perhaps we should hurry and choose a doorway before whatever is causing the rumbling decides to present itself."

"Eni, Mni, Mighty, Moe." David said as he pointed to the central door of the three.

"Hm, we don't really know what's on the other side of the doors." Robin said, walking around the side of the chamber, as she recognized a boss room when she saw one, "How about we open each one up and look inside?" She suggested.

"Right...I don't like this one bit." Lycus said making a B-line for the doors. He could feel the rumbling as he did so and moved faster towards the doors. "Let's just get out..." He said to his teammates, not actually knowing if they were behind him or not.

Unfortunately for the students, they would find that all three other sets of doors are very much unmovable. I mean, come on. They're massive sets of doors, made of steel. We're talking like, 40 foot doors, made of solid steel. How do you expect to move them?

At any rate, the rumbling increases, perhaps shaking the students slightly, and they begin to hear the ground cracking somewhere near the middle of the cavern.

Robin noticed it first, grabbing David, she hauled him back, "Everybody get back!" She yelled towards the others.

David looked at the center. "Why is it when ever you have go into a cave there is always boss at the end?" He said getting as far back as possible, watching it all unravel.

"What?" Lycus asked as he turned around from the door. He looked toward the center to see the middle begin to crack open upward. "What the hell..." He slung Ozymandias around from his back into his hands and got on one knee to aim at whatever came out.

Axel, with his back to the wall, cocked Spite and revved up Laughter, anticipating a large Grimm to burst from the cracks in the ground

As the rumbling gets louder, and the cracking gets worse, it can only be a matter of time before something bursts out of the ground. And in fact, it truly is just a moment before THE SPAWN OF THE DEVIL HIMSELF bursts out of the ground. I am kidding. Kind of. At any rate, a massive worm-like creature bursts out of the rough middle of the cavern, reaching up over a hundred feet tall, and perhaps fifty-feet thick. It's mainly black, with some white markings, and a massive amount of eyes that appear to glow pure white.

Seconds after the creature burst from the ground, a collection of it's appendages also burst from the ground. They appear to be around 50 feet in length, twenty feet thick, and there seems to be around twenty.

The creature's appendages quickly begin attacking, one swinging at the students from the right, and one swinging from the left.

"Jump over them!" Robin yelled to her teammates, preparing to leap, "David, fly if you can!"
