Dust on the third day. [Closed]

Carolynn frowned slightly - she was going to switch over to the minigun and spike the stupid guard's exposed legs but with that out of the question, she decided to support Milly from the back line. With a few quick commands she changed the circulating Dust from electric to ice before firing off icy harpoons at whatever clearing she found in Milly's actions. "If she has a motor, she should be able to overheat if you hit her and melt herself quickly. "I know that you flirtatious idiot, just focus on adjusting my shot." ICEA got to work in tracing patterns in the guard's movements to predict where to fire.

Varius followed closely behind Maria as they headed into the packaging area with a false look of concern. I hope we see that Minos guy first, a fight with that guy would be fun. Maybe in all the confusion I can "accidentally" get a slice at him. Varius was having a fun time enjoying his thoughts but made sure to not let it show on his face. "Maria we're heading to help Minos first right? I feel very worried about him for some reason." I'm worried he'll get cut down before I get a stab at him so not a complete lie.

"Stay here and help Minos. I'll get to the others!." Maria ordered Varius as she broke the door to the warehouse off it's hinges with her shoulder, noting who Minos was fighting before running straight to the corridor where Milly and Carolyn were. As she rounds the corner, she spots the guard attacking the two."Hey!" Reaching behind her, she draws her sword over her head and brings it down on the guard's shoulder. Before it connects though, the wall of the deliveries department explodes, fire and concrete dust flying towards Maria as a shoulder goes through the hole in the wall and connects with her side, a tall guard standing over her.

At Minos' semblance, the guard jumps off, smacking into a wall before falling into a roll in front of him. Spotting Maria run past, he sees Varius. Giving his sword a quick twirl, he runs at the lion, slashing it towards his side.

The knight, seeing his comrade fly off Minos, steps back. Making a few quick judgments about his armor, the knight runs around Minos' side, sending his sword  behind Minos ankle, his shield raised to catch any backhanded blows at him.

At the oncoming danger, the guard brings his two swords together, red dust flying in an area about him with a loud clang. A moment later, the cloud explodes, sending a wave of force at Milly and Carolyn's harpoons clattering against the walls.

With Maria finally gone and Minos busy with his own opponent Varius dropped his look of concern and finally felt free. Varius saw his opponent coming toward him and reached for Umbra. Now we're talking! Noticing the opponent coming in for a slash at his side Varius moved Umbra to block it and dug the blade into the ground forming a shield. Out of harms way and in the middle of battle Varius' expression quickly changed, his eyes widened and a wicked grin formed on his face. Without Umbra encumbering his movement Varius shot forward toward the guard aiming to grab him by the neck, raise him into the air, and slamming him back into the floor all while squeezing the life from his neck.

Noticing the knight jump to his side and finally free of the other guard, Minos starts turning towards him only to be greeted by a sword strike to the ankle. Having his aura up the blow is dulled a bit but causes Minos to lose his footing and he staggers a bit before stomping and regaining his stance. Suddenly laughing at the attempt he lowers his head down a bit and starts moving his right foot in a preparatory movement for his charge.

"Typical, aiming for the weak spots." he roars while laughing, "Sorry to break it to you, bub, but even without my aura up you'd have to hit a lot harder if you want to hurt me. Now be a good boy and try blocking this!" Flaring his semblance out even more, Minos starts swinging his fists in his typical brawler like fashion in an attempt to wear out the guard's defenses.

Motor coming off silent and emitting the equivilant of her rage as she sees the attack on Maria, she gets sent back by the explosion. Eyes of pure murderous intent, she states to Carolynn, "This one is yours." Charging forwards, at the attempted attack from the Guard in front of her, she parries both blades before grabbing his head before he can react and launching him into the wall and out of the way. Electricity on her blade increasing to the point of plain killing, the sword being sent straight towards the Knight's centre of mass. The wound to her head she sustained from the previous attack only just showing as blood runs down next to her eye.

Caroylnn grinned, "With pleasure." Rotating the Crutchshot for the sniper barrel to aim away from the Guard, with a few simple commands the back started rotating into life, ice dust being channeled there as the harpoons were switched up for normal bullets. Waiting to make sure Milly was in the clear, the barrel dropped down into the tripod as she took moderately careful aim and started firing off ice-dust bullets like a minigun, spraying the man in a metal rain.

The guard's sword bounces off Varius' with a metallic clang, the man ducking just in time to avoid Varius' grip as he sends a metal clad fist at the lion's solar plexus.

At Minos' punches, the knight steps back out of the hulk's reach, his shield raised and his sword ready at his side. As Minos raises his arm for another punch, he spots his chance and brings his shield up to catch his fist while sending his sword at his other underarm.

As the man hits the wall, he falls to the ground, dazed. He does say Carolyn aim at him though, moving to lie on his stomach, his arms forming an armored wall between him and the deadly hail.

The knight sees Milly's sword from the corner of his eye, his own blade going to intercept it as he kicked Maria's unconscious body a few feet behind him. As their swords meet, the metal singing, he pushes hard at the robot.

As Minos' fist lands he spots the knights sword swinging for his other arm, somewhat persistent about aiming for the hinge parts of his armor. Not having enough room to dodge he resorts to grabbing the blade with his free hand, feeling the impact against his palm and the edge of his arm as the blade hits, making shrill screeching sound as it slides against the scales. Sliding his other arm off the shield, Minos grabs for the knights sword arm while sending his elbow straight for the knight's face in one fell swoop. Crashing his elbow against the knights face, he notices him staggering and then places both of his arms on the knight sword arm while twisting his own body in the opposite direction. Once in position he lifts the whole knight up and sends his body crashing down over his shoulder, right into the pavement, making a large crashing sound while stirring up some dust and vials on the stacks.

"Nice try but like I said, you'd have to do much more that that to beat me." he said crouching down and pinning the knight's torso with his body weight. Lifting his fists once again he says, "Pity, though. I thought this fight would've lasted longer.", before slamming his fists straight for the knights helmet.

Not having much difficulty holding her ground, her anger having set her into overdrive. Waiting until he puts more strength behind his side before she strikes, in a fluid motion, her blade disengages with his, her free hand going to grab the Knight by the throat in an attempt to crush his windpipe, while her blade circles round and tries to sever the connection between sword and body via cutting off his hands. Sparks flying off the blade and trying to electrocute the man.

"Stubborn bastard." Carolynn muttered before stopping the output and reloading to another magazine, silent and fast as ever before switching the Dust from Ice to Fire and keeping the barrels on him, "Feeling a little chilly yet?"

As the hit connects Varius groans a bit but is mostly unaffected by the hit thanks to his armour, with a wild look in his eyes Varius grins at the soldier. "My, you have lovely eyes up close." He follows up his statement by bringing up his right leg and pushing the soldier away with it. "Too bad the rest of you is ugly." Making sure to not take his eyes from his opponent Varius jumps back toward his sword. He pull his sword from the ground and holds it in both hands waiting for the soldier to attack.

As Minos' fist flies towards the knight's face, he quickly brings up his shield, his forearm pressed against his helmet as it took Minos' punch. As his fist goes back up though, dust flies out and explodes a second later, a large ball of fire and force going out towards Minos.

Stepping forward to stay close to Milly, the knight loosens his grip on his sword quickly, the blade swinging to point down before he tightened his grip, holding it like a dagger as it blocked her sword, electricity arcing off the metal. His other hand opens to intercept Milly, holding her hand in a vice grip, keeping it away from his face.

Taking his chance, the swordsman bolts up as Carolyn reloads, sprinting and immediately closing the distance between the two of them. One of his swords was raised above his head, pointing to stab at her heart, quickly getting to one knee to eviscerate her with the other.

The guard watches Varius step back, more careful now that the lion had his sword. Mimicking his stance, he watches his opponent closes, careful to spot any signs of attack, his mask completely concealing his stony face.

Growling, she only gets more angry. Launching herself so she would suffer a sword to the chest, she aims to use it to hold the blade long enough to get the killing blow without causing critical damage to herself, her sword moving back from the other and heading towards man's stomach. The hand being grabbed, other than the pressure being picked up as data, she did nothing about it, instead attempted to press on in her pure objectives as to murder the man. However, she was using her active network to try and rouse Maria through her PDA while using it as a distraction , playing the sound of a very load, and very close Sub machine Gun fire.

Noticing the guards cautiousness Varius smirks, "Yes, fear me. Its the smartest thing you'll do all day." To add to his threatening words Varius reaches into one of his pockets and removes a small black ball. He quickly throws it on the ground releasing a burst of smoke which covers himself and the guard. Doubting the guard could move out of his range soon enough Rayden tightens his grip on Umbra and swings in a wide horizontal slash taking full advantage of his blades range.

Suddenly being blasted with a fireball at point blank range, Minos is thrown across the room, sliding against the floor before finally hitting a stack of dust causing some of the containers on top to start falling down. A bit dazed by the attack, Minos feels a container fall on his head with a loud thud before exploding and stirring up even more debris in the immediate area. As the smoke fills the room, Minos gets up while holding his head, not being able to see the knight because of the debris.

This is why I wear armor. Now where is that punk, I've got a little surprise for him.

Lowering his head in the direction of where he flew from, Minos starts moving his legs in preparation for a sudden dash towards his target. Using the dust stirred up as cover he builds up his aura while scraping his feet against the floor like a bull right before it charges. Not bothering to see what was going to be in the way he makes a sudden lunge and starts sprinting towards the knight's last position, building up his power as he gets faster just before leaving the cloud of dust.

NOW TRY BLOCKING THIS!!!

"All of you are just the same, taking every opening you're given." Carolynn sighed as the man closed the distance between them, the volley of burning bullets leaving the barrels when he was already midway between them, she simply shifting herself a little lower but continuing to fire... fire.

The knight gives his arm a firm shake, trying to dislodge his sword from Milly's side. He wouldn't be able to do it though, the robot's sword denting the armor on his abdomen, the tip of the sword embedding into the metal plate. Spotting his opening, the knight reels back an iron clad fist to uppercut her. As the fist connects with her chin he is pushed forward and the sword cuts into his side, a volley of bullets spraying across his back. "Get away from her. " Maria growled from he floor, the side of her head red with blood, her hair damp.

As the smoke fills his field of view, the guards helmet hums, a thermal view of the room appearing before him. Still, he reacts a little too late, bringing the sword up with its point down just at the right time, the guard be ending on one knee and the back of his sword digging into the side of his arm to take the force of Varius' blow, a muffled grunt of pain coming from behind the mask.

The sight of Minos charging causes the guard to hesitate slightly before he acts. Eyeing the cloud of dust from the shelves behind his assailant, he flings his shield, dust flying from it as it soars behind Minos, detonating both the dust from the shelves as well as its own, fire and ice exploding behind Minos as the guard rolled out of the way.

Running towards Carolyn, the guard slides as he nears her, his metal plated armor scraping across the ground as he brought both of his swords only inches apart in a horizontal slash at her shins, her bullets sending sparks flying all over his armor.

Blinking as the amount of 'blood' leaving the wound on her side is more than that of Quentin Tarantino movie, the uppercut made her check herself for a moment before she redoubled her attacks. Any attacks with her bare hands now losing their attempts to be masked with human delicacy as she taps into her martial art training. Already moving to give the man a hard knee to the groin, it is immediately followed up with one hand going to punch directly at his heart in an attempt to crumple the armor and use it to pierce it, with the other hand going to try and rip out the man's throat.

Feeling his blade making contact with the guard Varius simply smirked. This will be fun. With a quick turn of Umbra's handle, the outer edge of the blade began to glow white as repulsion dust channeled across its edge. Taking a step forward to move into a better position, Varius dug his heels into the ground and pushed with extreme force on his handle in the direction of his previous swing. Varius' plan was to continue his swing now aided by the power of the repulsion dust.

Carolynn continued firing even after he slid on the floor, and seeing his maneuver she grinned slightly. Instead of backing up, she stepped forward and let the sword hit the metal of her shin with a pang. Then explode. Not like this fazed her - the legs were pretty tough, so the worst that happened was a strong vibration going through her body and temporary deafening. The leg, however, holding up her weight in place, stopped the sword and the guard in their tracks and Carolynn immediately took advantage, turning the gatling gun and firing a volley of burning bullets towards the man's uncovered upper legs.

Feeling the explosion behind him, Minos continues his charge to the knights former position, unscathed by the blast due to the power of his now more powerful force field. Running through the cloud of dust, he knocks over some stacks he hits on the way causing them to fall and the vials of dust on them to scatter and blow up all over the place. Minos just keeps charging, ignoring the flames and icicles forming as he runs through them, leaving a blazing trail of fire and broken shards of ice. Once out of the cloud of dust he notices the guard rolling out of the way from his position causing him so make a sudden swerve and run into a nearby wall making a large crack in it as he hit. Changing his course, Minos now heads for the now shieldless knight with increasing speed, flaring his semblance out as he did.

The knight's armor would be sufficient to protect him from Milly's blows, the metals plates taking most of the force of her blows. His armor would crumple though, two dents appearing on it and a large bruise forming on his chest. Stumbling a bit, he bends down and swings his sword up under Milly's arm, shearing her skin and clothes as he did so and straight for her armpit as the bullets stop hitting his back. "Crap!" Maria yelled as her sword ran empty, getting up to run at the knight, sword held high.

As Varius continues to push his swing, an explosion rocks the warehouse, the guard knocked back and Varius' sword opening a large gash on his forearm, his sword clattering to the ground as he clutched at his wound. Turning to the source of the explosion, he spots Minos charging, the shelves of dust exploding and chain detonating all the other shelves. Putting a finger to the side of his helmet, he runs towards the packaging room door.

With a clang the guard's swords bounce off Carolyn's legs, him skidding to a stop on the floor right beside her. Then they explode, the guard sliding back a foot or two. A scream of pain then came out, muffled by the helmet but still fairly loud as bullets ripped into his legs, the building shaking from the explosions of the dust room.

The guard notices Minos' lack of control, a smile forming under his mask. For a second, he thinks of a plan to take his opponent. The smile disappears though as a scratchy voice comes from the speaker in his helmet, his head snapping to see his partner running out of the warehouse. Swearing under his breath, he pulls out two cylinders from under the strap on his chest, clicking the buttons on top before lobbing one at Minos' face and the other at the rest of the shelves, both exploding on impact.

The damage done to her when the sword was removed proved to be a deadly mistake for Milisendis. Detecting the removing of the blade a second too late, her arm was cut off cleanly, the sword having expert precision through the joint and separating them, the rubber cover being cut like air. Spotting his newly found hesitant, she spots her arm had been cut off before Laughing at the Guard now that he had seen the metal endoskeleton what made up her body. With that she picks up her arm, using it to bitch slap the guard to the ground. Not giving him time to get his senses together, she then grabs her blade and using the nearest slot in his armour, shoves it in and gives him a good and unhealthy dosage of electric. Killing him outright.
Taking her arm again, she throws it out to Maria, "Hold this, please. Imperatrix is required for it to be reattached. Don't worry, Tis just a scratch" Then picking up the sword of the now dead guard, she works out the path before firing it towards the screaming guard's back, picking up finality afterwards and starting off on an evident warpath, "Once this is settled, I shall see if I can help you, Maharani."

Allowance for Auto-Kill of the first guard wrote:

"Who dares interrupt my battle!" Noticing his target had begun to run away with a wounded arm Varius scowls. Prey must be be hunted until death! Using the momentum of his previous swing Varius continues the arc and brings it back for another swing this time putting in all of his strength. Umbra comes down in a vicious slash in the direction of the guard with releasing its stored repulsion dust. "You are not leaving this place alive!"

As the cylinders explode in Minos' direction he slows down a bit but continues his charge towards the knight, ignoring the other explosions in the background. Picking up his speed again he closes in on his target who seemed to be surprised at how he came out unscathed. Kicking up some dust behind him as he ran, Minos starts roaring out at the knight saying, "IS THAT THE BEST YOU CAN DO? NO ONE CAN STOP MY CHARGE!"

Picking up more speed, the surrounding debris around him starts getting flung away, even large pieces of concrete seem to be thrown away with little effort on Minos' part. Eyeing his target he makes one more dash towards him being only a few meters away now, closing the distance in a few seconds, this time making sure he'd hit.

"Oh my. So you weren't armored under those pants?" Carolynn sighed and switched the Dust to ice, firing around the area to freeze him in place and freeze over his wounds. "It's nothing personal. It's just business." she said to him before rising to her feet and switching ICEA to crutch mode. Like that, she started walking away, supporting herself while she carried the case with Milly's clothes and cursing as her prosthetics were dented and slightly harder to walk on. She made her way to the other girls.
