Dust on the third day. [Closed]

As the cylinders explode in Minos' direction he slows down a bit but continues his charge towards the knight, ignoring the other explosions in the background. Picking up his speed again he closes in on his target who seemed to be surprised at how he came out unscathed. Kicking up some dust behind him as he ran, Minos starts roaring out at the knight saying, "IS THAT THE BEST YOU CAN DO? NO ONE CAN STOP MY CHARGE!"

Picking up more speed, the surrounding debris around him starts getting flung away, even large pieces of concrete seem to be thrown away with little effort on Minos' part. Eyeing his target he makes one more dash towards him being only a few meters away now, closing the distance in a few seconds, this time making sure he'd hit.

"Oh my. So you weren't armored under those pants?" Carolynn sighed and switched the Dust to ice, firing around the area to freeze him in place and freeze over his wounds. "It's nothing personal. It's just business." she said to him before rising to her feet and switching ICEA to crutch mode. Like that, she started walking away, supporting herself while she carried the case with Milly's clothes and cursing as her prosthetics were dented and slightly harder to walk on. She made her way to the other girls.

Maria forces her downward swing to the side as she watches Milly quickly dispatch the guard, the blade biting into the floor a few inches next to him before she pulls it out and replaces it in her back. Catching the arm, not phased by the metal and wires sticking out the end, she cradles it, looking worriedly at Milly's socket, despite what she had just said. Walking over to the dead guard, she gives the body a soft kick, determining that he was truly dead. "Thanks Milly."

The guard runs at full speed, diving out of the way of Varius' attack and into the packaging room, the wooden door exploding into splinters behind him. Quickly rolling to get back up, he draws a knife from the sheath on his shoulder, holding it at the ready and moving closer towards the silo room step by step as he waited for Varius to approach.

Minos' shoulder catches the guard right across the stomach, grunting loudly as his back slams into the walls they were crashing through. Passing through the packaging room and break through straight into the silo room, he manages to push himself off as Minos' plows through a silo, explosive dust flying into the air, just waiting to be detonated.

Carolyn's efforts to freeze his legs into place would be effective, the guard firmly attached to the ground and his bleeding stopped for the most part. This wouldn't be too helpful though as a sword flies through the air, going into the gap between his neck guard and helmet, burying itself into the guard's chest, a muffled gurgle escaping from him before he fell still.

As the man's gurgling ends, Milly seems to calm down as all the threats to Maria are eliminated. Turning to her, she sheaths the blade and walks over, trying to get a look at her head injury, "Remain stationary." Quickly looking for even the most minute of signs of brain damage, she sighs when there are none. Moving to embrace the girl with the one arm she has, she smiles as best she can, despite the 'blood' pouring to the ground and onto her clothing, "Stay protected. Warning of thirty percent of remaining nutrients. Total loss calculated at three minutes. Fuel at forty percent remaining."

With labored breath after his gigantic swing Varius chases after the guard who had been running toward the packaging room. Not long after starting his chase Varius reached the door the guard had jumped through and continued his chase trying to regain as much energy as possible but still visibly fatigued. This is starting to feel less like killing someone and more like a chore. Varius continued his chase and after stepping through a door was able to see the guard. As much as Varius would have wanted to yell something witty he decided to save his breath to regain some stamina. With a bit of distance between them Varius throws a few knives at guard followed by a horizontal swing from Umbra.

Crashing into the Silo, Minos continues running through one wall of the Silo and out the other end, causing dust to be thrown out and spread all over his body. Realizing his situation, Minos doesn't stop running but instead turns back to where he came from, planning on taking the knight out along with the whole room. Making a large arc as he runs across the other end of the room he approaches the silo once again but this time with even greater speed. Just before making contact he skids the side of his right arms' armor across the containers' wall causing a small spark to ignite and possibly cause a chain reaction across the whole room if it proceeds as planned.

This won't hurt me at all. But you on the other hand, little man? HA!

Carolynn rolled her eyes, "You people and your crazy desire for killing." she commented, walking back to Milly and putting the case down, "Here be your clothes, Milly~" she chirped before looking over her with a slight frown, "Hey, mind me doing a few field repairs on you? Unless you wanna walk around somewhat armlessly." she giggled.

"Who's remaining stationary and protected, huh?" she said in an annoyed mom's tone as she takes the edge of her sword and puts it to her bicep, cutting off her sleeve and quickly turning it into strips before tying up the leaking joint. "You're staying right here beside me and no buts." Maria said as she gripped Milly's wrist in a vise, motherhenning the robot. Hearing Carolyn's words though, Maria heaves a sigh of relief. "Please, help her."

The guard deftly knocks the flying knives out of the air with his own, the sword catching him in the ribs and leaving a large gash, blood immediately flowing out the gap in his armor. Clutching his side, knife still raised high, he begins a hasty retreat before getting blown forwards, the entire wall behind him in a blaze of glory, fire, ice,electricity, and most other dust types under the sun, the great ball of death rapidly filling the room.

The cause of the explosion could be traced to the silo room, the massive cylinders of dust going off in a chain detonation, the entire corner of the building disappearing in a matter of seconds. The guard watches the explosion at the last second, the blast flinging him against the wall, his helmet crumpling like an eggshell.

Scowling at Maria, she shakes her head, "Negative. Imperatrix is the only designated repairer, assistance is not required. Please remove your hand." Shaking her hand for added affect, she quickly realises she can't get free without being allowed, "I need to put on the armour again, else I shall be at a disadvantage against further attacks."

Varius grunted as he raised his sword in front of him as the guard flew toward him. The effects of so much movement were taking its toll on him and fighting would become much harder if he had to run around at the same time. He hoped to catch the guard and impale him then use his body as a shield in order to protect himself from any debris heading toward him from the explosion.

Carolynn rolled her eyes and opened the case, starting to hand the pieces of the armor back to Milly, "I understand. Nevertheless, I would rather you functioned properly for the mission. If you could contact this 'Imperatrix' and find out if I have permission for repairs, that'd be good."

As the explosion roared, Minos ran through it with almost no trouble at all with only one goal in mind, to kill the guard. Unable to see anything through the blazing inferno, Minos runs through a few walls and silos and into the next room causing a blaze of fire to burst through with him. Skidding to a slowed down pace, Minos leaves a trail of singed broken flooring and a massive whole in the wall while walking through the flames and into the next room, not minding the heat due to the insulation of his armor. Crashing down the door, he spots the others waiting and see's one missing an arm but not complaining one bit. Somewhat baffled, he walks towards them with his smoking armor and opens his Visor, revealing a grinning face unscathed by what happed.

"That was fun." He said, apparently amused by the aftermath of his induced explosion. Spotting the others trying to help one of their teammates with an arm he asks, "What happened here?"

"Milly, quit being stubborn." Maria scolded, turning the robot's stump to Carolynn, a determined look on her face. "Carolynn, please. Fix her. I give you permission." With both of her hands on Milly's shoulders, bear strength keeping the robot in place, Maria wasn't moving until her 'daughter' was better. That was before the explosions though.

With a wet schlick noise, the guard's corpse impales itself into Varius' blade, the force of the blast knocking it into the faunus and into the wall behind him. Not too far after it, the great ball of the explosion sped toward him as he was knocked through the door and into the long hallway.

Explosions continue behind the large man as he walks up to the others. Quite unfortunately, a large chest of dust crystals and vials gets blown off the shelf, scattering everywhere as they bounced down the hall, some rolling to stop right behind Minos' feet. As the warehouse and silo room disintegrate with the explosions, one of the bouncing crystals detonates. In a great ball of fire, it sets off a chain reaction, detonating the charges placed there as the walls began to collapse, sirens faintly sounding in the distance.

Closing his Visor a split second before the canister went off, Minos is blown back towards a wall and crashes through it, unable to get his footing right he ends up crashing into a pile of debris, making a large cloud of dust as he hit. Minos picks himself up as more explosions are heard in the background, realizing that they should probably start getting out by now. Charging his semblance, he starts running for a wall, not caring what would be on the other side, and picks up speed before fully flaring out his aura to increase his force and create a force field around him as he runs. Crashing into the wall it goes down without a fight and Minos keeps on running through the blazing rooms, piles of debris being flung out of his way as he ran and walls going down without even slowing him down.

After being hit by the force of the explosion Varius tumbled and tried to protect himself from anymore damage. Once he was finally done rolling Varius stood up and made sure he wasn't too hurt. "Small cuts and bruises but nothing too bad. Guards make excellent shields, I'll keep that in mind." Noticing the state of the facility Varius began looking for an exit. "Best to not stay and find out how things end up." Varius looked to his right and noticed a door not too far from where he was standing and ran towards it.

Looking around but not struggling against the grab, she detects the sudden burst of fire, jerking her head back automatically as her thermal sight flares. Though she did see what was coming, in one fluid motion ducking down, spin kicking Maria to remove her and pushing Carolynn away, "We are leavin-" With that, the girder what had been spotted goes straight through her armoured chest, saying in a broken voice, "CrItIcAl DaMaGe. ShUtTiNg DoWn UnTiL rEpAiReD." With that, her eyes fade from blue to red before collapsing next to Maria's feet.

Carolynn fell down as the debris flew past where she was and impaled itself into Milly. Howling a bit from getting hurt, she started pushing the Crutchshot down to help her back onto her feet, praying that nothing will come her way. When she was back on her prosthetics, she glanced around until she found Maria and Millly. Frowning, she started staggering towards them, "Sorry, I can't carry her for shit, so unless you carry her out I'll have to do repairs here."

Minos' charge does not help to alleviate the damage on the building, each wall he passed coming down behind him. As he ran back through the wall and into the packaging room, he runs right in front of Varius, Minos erupting through the wall right in front of the lion faunus and out the other side of the factory into the open air, leaving a large hole in front of Varius.

Maria cries out as the girder impales Milly, tears immediately welling at the sides of her eyes. True, she knew that Milly could easily be repaired or replaced but still, the sight struck a cord in her, terrified as she saw her daughter get skewered by the metal. Getting back on her feet, she yanks the metal from Milly's body, draping the robot over her shoulders as if she weighed nothing with the arm firmly in her grasp. "I'll carry her!" She yelled out as she started hobbling towards the entrance to the building, pain searing in her ankle and leg as the hallway's ceiling started coming down a few feet behind them. "Just get out!"

Finally noticing that he was out of the factory, Minos starts slowing down by skidding to a stop, forming a large depression in the ground as he did before flaring out one more time making a small but somewhat deeper depression in the ground as he stopped. Not opening his visor yet in caution to what happened earlier, Minos faces the hole he made and saw the lion faunus there. Apparently he crashed through the same room where Varius was fighting and gave him an easy way out. "You're welcome" He said sarcastically through his helmet before finally opening his visor to show a largely mocking grin accompanied by a loud laugh afterwards.

"It sure would help to be able to run..." Carolynn huffed as the ceiling started to come down. Yelping slightly, she started limping after them, raising the Crutchshot to fire ice rounds at the ceiling in hopes of holding it up just enough for her to get out. At least there'll be a payoff from this... she thought as she looked at the impaled robot. I do want to meet the person behind Milly though...

Varius scowled at Minos for his remark. "I could have done that myself!" He puts his hand over his mouth as he realizes he was still in his "nice" persona. Fearing another outburst Varius exited the building through the convenient hole and stands off to the side a good deal away from Minos. He stares at the building as it begins to crumble. Wasn't this a job to steal dust not destroy a building?

The distant sirens suddenly grow louder as five police chars, a swat van, two ambulances, and three firetrucks screech to a halt in the open lot in front of the factory. Immediately, the firetrucks get to work, dousing the flames slowly consume the building. Six swat members quickly emerge form the armored van, running along the east wall of the factory. Running around the corner, they spot Minos and Varius, immediately opening fire from several meters away.

"Carolyn!" Maria screamed, her voice inaudible compared to the roar of the collapsing building, "Please! Fix her!" Walking over to a dumpster beside the chain link fence, she lays her down in its shadow. Yes looks up pleadingly at Carolyn, her hand gripping the robot's shoulder firmly. "You can help her, right?" She asked, tears welling at the sides of her eyes. "Please...."

Carolynn looked at the bear faunus and the robot as she cried. There was a big frown on the mechanic's face as she felt sort of annoyed. Gah... I don't even wanna charge these two... she thought as she sighed and inspected the damages. She ran her hand over Milly's empty arm socket and the hole in her chest.

"I'll do some temporary repairs for now, but you'll need to take me to the creator later if you can so I can explain what I did. Get on pulling that thing out." she pointed at the chest, "While I start reattaching the arm." with that, she took Milly's arm and activated the Crutchshot, modifying a few dials until the Dust started flowing out of the barrel, creating a small makeshift wielding torch, starting to heat up the excess metal from the wires to clean out the arm.

Upon noticing the police arrive Varius drapes Umbra over his side in time to stop the hail of bullets which has begun to come his way. He immediately begins to regret sticking around for no apparent reason. He turns his head toward Minos and yells, "This may be where we part ways!" Varius removes fives smoke bombs from a pouch at his side and activates them. He tosses them toward in the direction of the police and drops one at his feet. The smoke quickly spreads breaking the police's line of vision with him. Still holding Umbra to cover him Varius runs north to the away from the police but remembers he doesn't exactly have a get away. As he reaches Minos he stops, "Actually, any idea of how to escape?" 

Closing his Visor just in time before the bullets started hitting, Minos just stands in the line of fire, not caring of the poor firepower they decided to bring with them. As Varius throws a smoke bomb, Minos lowers his stance down a bit, looking right towards the group of police, preparing his stance . Hearing Varius' question, Minos laughs a bit before saying, "Escape? Hahahaha, I don't know about you but I trample on anything that decides to pick a fight with me."  Using the smoke as a way to surprise his enemy, Minos starts grazing his right foot against the ground, just as a bull would before charging, lowering his head a bit, his horns jutting out towards the men shooting at them, Minos starts charging towards his targets, deflecting bullets with his armor and force field.

"Y-yeah. Ok. Yeah, I can do that." Maria said as she knelt beside Milly. Grasping the metal protruding from her chest Maria yanks it out, horrified by the liquids coating its jagged edge. Just as she's about to cradle the robots head, the sound of footsteps to her right catches her attention. Grimacing, she leaves Milly's side to face them. Carolyn and the robot where behind the dumpster from their point of view but if they continued down the alley, all three of them would be caught. Her face uncharacteristically fierce, Maria slowly walks towards the policemen, sword scraping along the floor. As soon as they raised her guns, Maria's sword embeds into the ground and she leans against it, drawing her guns she peeks from behind it and opens fire.

The smoke doesn't do more than block the SWAT's vision, their masks filtering out the vile air. It did however block their vision as they ran through the smoke. As they exit, regaining their sight, they spot Minos at the last possible second and dive out of the way. Getting up to a crouch, they level their guns, three facing forwards at Varius and three facing backwards at Minos. As expected of the Vale SWAT team's caliber, there is no pause from when their feet hit to the ground to when their fingers squeeze the trigger, spraying lead in both directions.

Minos is peppered from behind by gunfire and but his armor stays intact as he slows down to turn around. Getting annoyed at the repeated clanking sound of the bullets hitting his armor he starts getting madder and decides to go brawl instead. Walking towards the shooters, Minos keeps his semblance up to minimize damage to his armor while casually raising a finger towards them, taunting them to go melee before making a slight dash to increase his power as he aims a right hook towards one of the cops.
