Team 5 (Shadowfox66 and Kaliot)

Kyri took a moment to think about it, signiling Mao to come down from his tree now that they can decide where to go. She took a good long second not saying anything as she thought about it.

The Clearing ahead of us might hold something as it is away from the cliff face, the one to our side might not be the best of choices. Maybe the lake would have something near it. Well i guess the odd one out wins. She looked up to her partner and then pointed the same way he pointed to the lake.

"Let's check out the lake First! I think it might be the way we need to go."

It took a moment before Mao's face lit up as Kyri pointed to the lake. Lake lake lake lake lake lake lake. He sprung himself off of his branch, did a flip, and landed before Kyri. "Yes, mam!" He turned away, trying to oppress his current enthusiasm.

Despite all the excitement in his mind, the back of it remained relatively quiet. This should be a good experience.

Kyri smiled as Mao came down from the branch in the fanciest way possible and she giggled a little as he called her ma'am. She decided to lead the way into the forest towards the lake.

Yay! Water!

Mao and Kyri walk through the woods towards the lake. As they make their way towards the lake they hear the sound of fighting off to the right. Would they investigate or continue on to the lake?

OOC: feel free to have your character's talk as they walk. Just be sure to hear the fighting at some point and make a choice.

Kyri continued down the path with a smile on her face as she continued seemingly without a care in the world. She turned around and gave a smile to Mao who was following her.

"Well this is fun isn't it? Just a relaxing walk through the woods!" She turned back around and she slowed down as the sounds of battle danced in her ears.

"Our classmates have encountered the enemy. They might be in trouble." She looked down to her weapon and her face became serious as she started to check her ammo.

Mao smiled back. The sounds were now reaching him as well, but it was faint. Or perhaps he had been hearing it and was ignoring it. Because lake. "Well, so much for that. And I was really hoping we could visit the place. Oh well." He watched as Kyri's face changed into what it was like before. She was clearly ready, so there was no need to ask of it. He had a feeling she wouldn't really respond to him, either.

"Let's go." Mao ran towards the sounds of fighting.

Kyri nodded and ran with Mao towards the sounds of fighting she was ready and her heart was pumping with excitement.

"Make sure you are ready for a fight. We have no idea what they could be fighting." Her voice didn't hold the cheer it held only moments ago.

"Well, we can't be not ready for a fight. This is our Initiation after all." In his head, he stuck out his tongue at Kyri, but his curious, childlike demeanor was slowly melting away revealing that of his inner huntsman. He thought about who the other two would be, and, if they became teammates, how well they would synergize with Kyri and himself.

Kyri could almost feel Kaliot sticking his tongue out at her though when she turned to look he was doing no such thing. She rolled her eyes and started to think about the people she knew at the school.

"I'm just saying. We don't know if it's Beowolves, or a Deathstalker." She looked to her weapon once more.

Who could it be? Indigo? Tyler? One of the M's? Ugh, i just hope they know how to fight. I wouldn't want to be on a team with those who don't deserve to be here. A scowl crossed her face as she though of those who could simply be of no use to her and what ever team she is on.

Mao thought about it for a moment. "A Deathstalker would be rather problematic..." He said under his breath. None of them seemed to be equipped for such an encounter, or at least he wasn't. Mao knew very little about Kyri's fighting style still after all. Hopefully we can handle it if we do run to one...

Mao and Kyri cut through the woods running towards the combat. As they approached they heard the sound of a bolt passing through flesh before seeing a teen with two shields behind the body of three boombatusks in front of him. To the side there was a teen standing with his weapon aimed at them.
