A Tour of Avernus 'Matter' Corp.: Vale Branch [Open]

You arrive at the entrance of Avernus 'Matter' Corp., an alternative energy facility that produces a fuel and dust substitute called 'Matter'.

((Matter is a tar-like nonflammable substance that is used as fuel to generate energy, fuel vehicles and machines, and it is also compatible with any kind of engine))

You arrived here for a reason, probably in order to attend a tour of the area or for something else.

The outside of the facility is filled with a large number of guards in uniform who are strictly monitoring the premises. They spot you and look at you for a while and then proceed with their patrol.

You enter the facility and you are greeted by a blond receptionist.

"Greetings and Welcome to Avernus Corp.! Are you here for the exclusive tour of the facility?", she asks you in a disturbingly perky manner.

A purple haired girl that goes by the name of Violet walks up to her in a mocking voice,"Why yes I am most certainly here for the tour." she then laughs at the formality of her greeting.

A boy with black and purple hair reading a book walked in after Violet sighing. "Tell me again why I had to come..." he said not looking up.

She notices the purple haired girl making fun of her though she ignores it. She was just doing her job and she has no choice but to keep on doing it as she was told to do. The cameras aren't there just to monitor the outsiders.

She then continued talking:

"Alright then! Before we start the tour, please surrender any weapons, ammunition, sharp objects, flammable substances, recording equipment, dust, and other electronics that you are carrying right now to the baggage counter over there", she tells the two as she keeps her perky manner of speaking. Then she points towards the baggage counter where a black haired girl wearing the same uniform as her was waiting.

"This is for the facility's safety precautions and everything will be returned to you after the tour."

She groans loudly and stomps over to the baggage counter. She takes her rocket gloves off and gives it to the girl along with her many vials of dust. She secretly keeps a vial of red dust powder under her clothing.

Outside of the building a man puts down a duffle bag in an alley way a block down the street. He unzips the bag and pulls out an a ballistic combat suit and a modified sub-machine gun, still inside the bag is a mask.

Franklin straps on the armor and checks the ammo on his gun. 'A few security guards? This'll be too easy.'

((OOC: Well, this will be interesting Another robbery from Franklin?))

The guards outside continue to patrol the area. As they patrol, they have to report to each other any updates regarding the surroundings; such as the number of people that passed and specifications of the vehicles they have seen. They have to report that every 15 mins. and three confirmations are required of such sightings. Otherwise, it will be rendered suspicious.

They are equipped with a taser and a stun baton since they are not authorized to kill. Though the security inside has all the authority they need.

"G16, A blue bus had passed approximately 13 minutes ago"
"G13, Confirmed"

"G09, Female with groceries approximately 10 minutes ago"

They have not seen anything suspicious as of now.

She turns to Jakob and smacks him on the back "looks like you're gonna have to give up the book"She said with a chuckle.

Jakob sighed and put the book on the desk, as well as pulling out his paper-weight shaped weapon. "You'd best be careful with the trigger, don't want my weapon activating and destroying everything."

"This facility may seem to be made out of usual building material but within its walls is actually reinforced steel capable of withstanding large explosions", the black haired woman explained as she accepted the paper-weight shaped weapon.

"Well then, I hope you have deposited everything that you are required to deposit, otherwise you'll be dealing with the security here.", the blond haired woman perkily stated.

She then opened some double doors which revealed a hallway. The right side of the hallway had a window that revealed a large number of machines and equipment that are used for the production of 'Matter'. There were also people and faunus, who were wearing lab coats, there that were performing maintenance on one of the machines.

[Meanwhile, in the Facility's Security and Control Room]

The head guard along with another guard(G52) was busy monitoring the feedback from the cameras within the facility. They were busy watching what was happening in the tour.

"Why is there a tour in the facility?", G52 asked the head guard as he was curious.

"Marketing Department suggested this. They said that commercials aren't that reliable nowadays.", the head guard said as he took a sip from his coffee mug.

"Oh... is that so?... Hey, what is 'Matter' made of?", G52 asked another question as he was getting bored.

"I don't know... probably only those geeks in those white coats know whats in that stuff", the head guard replied as he was still looking at the monitor.

Violet runs around like a 5 year old at a playground, yelling at all the people in lab coats "SUCH GEEEEEKS!"She says as she is laughing at them

Jakob reached a hand out and grabbed Violet's arm, making her dead stop. Jakob sighed, "Violet, tell me again what the point of being here is.

The blond haired woman ignores Violet and continues explaining.

"What you see thru this window are the machines used to produce the alternative fuel called 'Matter'. This fuel was developed by the geniuses of the Research and Development department of Avernus Corp. by a multitude of experiments conducted on the different substances found in Vytal... until finally creating 'Matter'!", the blond haired woman explained with well practiced enthusiasm.

"I will then be leaving to allow you to explore the facility.", she said as she leads the two to the end of the hallway then opening another set of double doors that leads to the room to where the machines were.

"If you have any questions, you may ask the people here. They will surely answer any questions that you may have but there are limitations to the questions they can answer.", the blond haired woman said as she walks away and returns to where the receptionist's desk was.

The production room was rather big. At the middle of the room were complex machines and conveyer belts. There were glass jars moving in and out of the machines and what comes out was a jar filled with thick, black liquid. There were people with lab coats there making sure that there were no problems with the machines.

From where Violet and Jakob were standing they could see 5 different doors, excluding the one they just came from, with the following labels.
1. Security and Control Room
2. Shipping and Delivery
3. "Authorized Personnel Only" - This door had two guards in front of it.
4. Employee Lounge
5. Testing Room

There were also a set of stairs that leads up.

Rooms 1 and 3 were on their right side, while rooms 2,4,5 where in their left side.

The people there look at you for a while and then they resume to monitoring the machines.

Violet looks at Jakob and tells him"Let's go to the shipping" She says as she drags him into the 2nd door

The two entered the Shipping and Delivery Room and what was inside the room were a number of trucks that were going in and out of the facility. The trucks had the Avernus Corp. logo on them. Some of the trucks were being loaded with cases of jars filled with 'Matter' while others remained on standby. One of the garage doors were open and you can notice one of the patrol guards continuously doing their job.

A faunus with dog ears then spots you. He was wearing the uniform similar to what the blond haired woman had earlier. There was a label on the right side of his chest stating that he was the 'Head of S&D'.

"Oi! Wha' you two doin' here? You don' look like employees!", he asks the two.

"WE ARE HERE FOR THE TOUR GOOD SIR!"She sticks out her hand inviting him to shake it"I am Violet, nice to meet you"

The faunus was confused for a moment and then he remembered that tours were being allowed recently. He then took the hand shake as he lowers his head in embarrassment.

"Elijah Wolfstein... Head of Shipping and Delivery", he introduced himself as he was shaking hands with Violet.

Rosa walks up to Franklin with a backpack. She takes out two pistols, a ballistic vest and bandana. She puts on the ballistic vest under her hoodie. She puts on the bandana and puts her hood up. "So. how are we going to do this?"

"Violet here dragged me along for a tour. It's weird because everyone's asked us why we're here." Jakob told the Faunace.

Elijah heard what Jakob said.

It's because this facility usually doesn't allow outsiders... its only recently when they allowed this, he thought but he can't say that to Jakob and thus he ignored it.

Then he asked,

"Well Ms. Violet, wha' brings you 'ere in Shipping and Delivery?"

"There's a door in the back, shipping and delivery. So we gotta go around some buildings through the alley ways and we're there. I doubt there'll be much resistance, the most I've seen is a couple security guards so we can basically just walk in. Once in we find the Matter and get out." He said as he pulls out his mask and puts it on.

She starts looking around scouting out the room"What kind of things can you tell us about this matter stuff?"

Elijah thinks for a while then he eventually told them what he knew about about Matter.

"Matter is an al'ernative fuel develo'ed by Avernus Corp. I don' know wha' its made of but the'e is an abundan' supply of it all ove' Vytal. Probabl' only the resea'ch and developmen' team know wha' it's made of."

Then he thinks again of what he was going to say then proceeds,

"A ja' of 'Matter' would only cost 1/3 of wha' dust would cost in 'erms of fuel. Unlike dust tha' is mined in qua'ies, Avernus Corp. assu'es that 'Matter' will neve' run out. Due to its abundance, they though' that it would be wise to price it that low. Actually, 'Matter' is so abundan' that this enti'e facilit' is powe'ed by it."

She thinks to herself for a second and looks back at the worker"Excuse me, where is the bathroom"

Jakob sighed and sat on the floor. "I wish I had my book."
