The El*er Scrolls [Event] [Team AMBR]

David looked up to Byron. "Seconded. What you stick them with? Dorm? Humphrey Dumpty?"

"Sorry to say but apparently I've pulled up the cat's domain," Byron remarked looking over the colorful and strangely fuzzy buildings, "Besides, Wonderland right now is no more real then a movie on the television. It can't hurt anything. It's only purpose right now is to confuse the enemy. Nightmare is probably the most lethal of my arsenal right now but the creatures of grimm have no fear so he's useless. Right now we'll just have to rely on the cat and her bag of tricks."

David shivered from the thought. "Can we move out soon?" He looked over his shoulder. "Or now?"

"What? Don't like the architecture?" Robin jokingly teased David, "Anyway, I agree with Bryon's plan. We need to get to the ruins, the sooner then better. Do we know where they are?" She looked to her teammates.

"Well how do we get to the ruins? We'll have to take a detour, considering that we just ran back from the straight-away path to the ruins, but what's the new path that we're going to take?"

"That's problematic," Byron stated, "I was able to guide us back regardless of Wonderland because I can remember what the path relatively looked like and that it was pretty much a straight run, but if we just take any other route that none of us really knows of I can't help you guys there. We'll all end up tripping and slamming right into trees or rocks until we get there." Byron looks up at the sky and stared at the giant cat's eye that was where the sun should have been looking down on them. "I suppose I'm going to have to send away Wonderland for now if we're going to be able to guide our way to the ruins at all."

Byron snapped his fingers and the strange feline town around them immediately disappeared, showing the Emerald as it should have been.

"Great. Guys, they're going to be on us in a few minutes. We have to split up. David, go with Bryon. Head East. Axel, you're with me, we're going west." Robin ordered, nodding to her teammates, "We'll meet back at the Ruins. If you need help, send out a flare or something. We'll try to reach you."

"To the east we go," Byron said nodding, "Cover my blind side David."

Without waiting for a reply, Byron headed east as he was told, firing a few shots at the beowolves aiming for their chests. Even if he missed he would have grabbed their attention away from the other two.

"Good luck to you two," said Axel as he headed off with Robin.

"See you guys later." She nodded to her now split team, "Come on Axel." Taking the lead, Robin lead the way westwards.

David ran behind Byron. He watched the other side as asked. "Byron, I have to ask. Why was Cheshire so taken to me in wonderland? Also tell me she doesn't remember me." He said scanning the sides still.

While running David looked over his shoulder to see Beowolves coming after them. "Ignore that question. Here's a new one. Run or fight?"

"They're just Beowolves," Byron muttered as they continued running, "Just drop a few bombs and leave them. If we're going to take the long way to the ruins we can't waste time with a petty skirmish."

David reached into his back pack and pulled out some remote bombs. He just armed them and dropped them one by one. He spun around and waited for them to run over the mines before detonating them.

Axel quickly stopped running at the sight of the unusually large Ursa. "Oh wow, this one's a big bruiser. I wouldn't want to fight him, but I'm not sure we can outrun it either."

"Then lets make sure it can't follow." Robin said, drawing Vera Volare and making it into a bow, "Led it to the trees. We don't need to kill it, just incapacitate it."

"So then," Byron said still keeping himself at a jogging pace regardless of the absence of danger, "Do you know how to get to the ruins?"

David turned to Byron. "Not a clue. Should we just keep moving or?"

"You've got wings don't you Tweetie?" Byron asked rather bluntly, "Do you think you can fly up and find me a path to take on foot?"

David looked at Byron with an annoyed look on his face. "Fine." David's wings opened up and he took to the sky to get a better view.

Axel felt the Ursa almost breathing down their necks as the ground shook with every one of its steps.  "There's no way to outrun this thing," he shouted out to Robin.  As fast as he could, Axel spun around and shot the Ursa in the eye with Spite.  Whether or not he actually hit it, he was not sure, but it gave him enough of a distraction to hit the deck and let the still-charging Ursa run past him.  Axel slashed its inner thigh with Laughter as it passed over him before loosening the chains attaching the chainaxe to his forearm guard and hurling the revved-up weapon at the Ursa back, hoping that the axe would dig in somewhere between its thick hide and spikes.

David took to the skies, and almost immediately saw a flock of small nevermores nearby. They were circling a tree in the distance, different from where anyone in Team Amber went. They didn't appear to notice David right away, but that could easily change. They are small, with a wingspan of about three feet or so, but there are at least 20 of 30 of them gathered around. Staying in the air too long could get their attention.

Looking on, you glance around the forest, looking for any sign of ruins. You can see further to the north(the direction began traveling at the start of this event) that the canopy becomes thinner and more open, and there are various pillars or small ruins. The place you were looking for is more like a shrine, but its safe to say that north is the right general direction. As you take in the view, you find yourself too high up to hear much of the events happening below.

Byron stands idly as David lifts into the air, vanishing through the dense trees. You move around slightly to get eyes on him, but its difficult as he ascends. The snapping of a twig behind you alerts you, however, to the sword wielding woman who attacked Robin from before. Olivia was her name. She apparently has excellent stealth abilities, because she's already swinging both swords at your back, giving you extremely low reaction time. As your eyes turned to spot her, you also caught a glimpse of what could be Kirkka in the distance.

Unfortunately for Axel, his strategy didn't go quite as he had hoped. As he hit the deck, sliding forward just slightly, the Ursa ran past him, but not before making a weak swipe against him with his right fore paw. The swing was weak, relative to the total strength of this massive creature, but would easily knock any normal sized human back 20 feet. The creature slowed its charge rapidly, turning toward the now knocked away Axel and approaching him on his two hind legs, ready to give out that bear hug it has been saving. Looking at its face, its unclear if the shot hit it at all. There is no damage to either of its eyes, and the armor is unmarred.

OOC: Your post was read as an auto-hit which isn't allowed, and it lasted a long time so I cut it off.

Byron's weapon, Thanatos, being the bulky carry around coffin its infamous for, easily blocks any sword swings to the back. Suddenly alerted to enemy presence, Byron spins on his heels while simultaneously switching Thanatos back to its weapon form and attempts to hit Olivia with to barrel of his right handed gun aiming for the side of her rib cage.

But, fortunately for Axel, he had backup in the form of one very pissed off leader approaching the Grimm from the side with frightening speed.

"LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Robin yelled, her being glowing bright red and making an open plam thrust to the Ursa Major. If the attack connected, her semblance would send the Ursa flying.
