The Second Initiation Ball (Open)

Security is pretty high around here tonight. As Zwei enters after talking to Aphelion, he noticed one of the Beacon Guard is watching him the entire time as he approaches the food and drink tables. He nods to another man standing next to the food, and he also begins watching Zwei. They aren't being very subtle about keeping their eye out. They seem quite ready to handle any situation.


Around the table, aside from the one watching Zwei, three other guards are monitoring the table. There are also guards at each entrance, and five or six more wandering around the room through the crowds. They are all armed, unlike most of the students here. After all, weapon's aren't supposed to be brought here during an event such as this.

"The only one!? Ha, this place is a madhouse. These kids just run around trying to kill and poison each other. If we can't get them all under control, this place is probably going to turn into either a prison or a deserted building! Haha.. He stops his laughter short as Aoife dismisses herself, turning to watch her walking toward the food area, hands in pockets. He begins following only a few feet behind her as he calls out to Silva.  "Good chat! I'll catch ya around after I wrap things up over here!"

Three Beacon Guard members are instantly surrounding Zwei, two of them grabbing his arms, while the third speaks. "Nice work, you ruined the food for everyone. I hope you enjoyed your time here, because it's probably going to be cut short." He nods, signaling the other two to start dragging him toward the door as he follows.

Nathan stands off to the side as the men surround Zwei, but keeps his eye on Aoife.

Indigo enters the cafeteria and surveys the area. She wears a blue dress, her hair is in a much looser braid than usual, with bright green balls holding up her hair. She wears bright purple fake earrings and a blue bow around her neck. As usual, she is barefoot, but her toenails are painted blue. Her mouth waters as she spots the buffet table, heading strait to it she tries not to look to entranced by the food.

Matt walked into the cafeteria, dressed in his suit, ready to have some fun. He saw a couple people there that he knew, but so far it didn't look that crowded. Man, am I thirsty. Matt walked up to the food table just as Zwei walked away. He grabbed a cup and took a long drink. He noticed Tyler sitting alone. He was happy to see his partner here. He walks up to him. Hey Tyler, how's it going?

Another song change. This was fun.

Following behind Indigo, Drake enters, glancing around carefully before crossing his arms. He did not do people. Yet here he was, socialising as the situation demanded. Unfortunately a 'ball' was not like a combat. You could not take command in a situation like this.

He's dressed in what seems to be some sort of formal, almost military uniform, black with silvered plating and a deep crimson cloak of sorts worn over his shoulders. Like his normal cloak this one splits into frayed, bladed points. Armoured plates cover both shoulders, bearing his personal icon of a silver dragon-head but also another. An iron bull's head. His father's.

He sighs, watching Indigo run off, having decided to keep an eye on her since Initiation. And with a quiet nod he makes his own way in, little plates of metal clinking with each step.

A man in a Beacon Guard uniform stops Matt before he's able to take his drink off the table. "Food and drink is off limits kid, sorry. Someone is drugging it, and we'll need it for testing." The Guard is now surrounding the food table with 8 members total, turning away anyone who gets near it.


Nathan stands next to the table as well, just watching Aoife, and checking the door he threw Aphelion out of often.

Blinking as she is hit in the head by the plane, she quickly reads the note. Glancing over at Nathan, she would shrug as if he asked her a question, before walking outside to Aphelion, "I am not even going to ask what you did. Though apparently they didn't like it enough to throw you out."

The guards grabbed Zwei and restrained him. "Well damn that didn’t work...well no point in resisting". He decided the allow the guard to bring him where they wanted.

Indigo stops short as she overhears an official looking man saying that the food was off limits. "What!? What do you mean the food's off limits!" Indigo looks positively crushed.

"I got a guy to put aphrodisiac and alcohol into every food at the ball. Nothing but a trifle." he said, sounding perfectly calm, "I called you in to tell you that you shouldn't eat or drink anything. Unless you want to feel warm and fuzzy inside through the party. I, on the other hand, think I won't be joining you... for a while."

Matt turns to Indigo. Well, now what are we gonna do? I'm starving. He sees Tyler sitting in the corner. Maybe Tyler was able to get some food before it was shut down. Let's ask him. Matt starts walking towards Tyler.

Hearing Indigo's tone concerning the food he scowls, just a little. He was already on edge around her. He frowns and carefully makes his way over to her. He felt naked without the Talons. He certainly wasn't comfortable.

He fidgets with the semi-official attire he wears, frowning at it before deciding to speak. Not that he knew what to say...

"I'm sure we can find...other food."

You three hungry? he asked the people he had worked with at the initation, Matt being the only person he knew by name. I've got some food and soda, and I think someone drugged the food and punch or something... he said as he pulled out a backpack from underneath his table and pulled out a box of pizza, several boxes of junk food, and two six packs of soda. Try and leave some Since this is enough for five people. he told them as he flipped the box of pizza open.

Once Zwei was outside the ball he went over to his Quest-giver with shame. "I-I failed...Im sorry please forgive me". he reached into his pocket and took a pill to calm himself

Mao, his palm on his forehead, shook his head as he watched Zwei get "escorted" out of the ball. What are you doing, Zwei? People need to learn how to contaminate food.

He watched as the girl from the locker room, Indigo, approached the food table and well as Matt from the same place. If the Beacon guards weren't there, things may have actually gotten interesting. Oh well. He continued watching the room.

Looking at the cookie she had picked up just before the ban, she would nearly gag on it, coughing heavily, "W-What!? You realise you could get expelled for that, right!? Idiot! Even I am trying to at least seem somewhat nice for this ball, know how much it took me to not break every bone in his body just because he picked you up?!"

Indigo was on the verge of violence when she hears a familiar voice with an offer that could almost bring her to tears of joy. Turning to confirm that she hadn't heard an illusion, she burst into a squee, practically pouncing on the pizza.

"We both have. This school is truly a challenge... Interesting. I think I'll retire from being cupid, y'know? Go home and be a family man." he said, gazing into the sky, "I also don't get how the hell you guys manage to live with so many regulations..."

He then turned to Aoife, "Expelled? Damn, you guys have it like a prison here. What's this fascination with civilization anyway... But I guess I shouldn't question it. Hey, if I get expelled, come visit me sometimes. I'll find somewhere to live." he patted her on the head.

A large door to the left of the stage opens somewhat loudly. A few moments later, several people are pushing a long, wheeled table out, covered in food. One man ahead of the table goes up to Nathan, letting him and the other guards know what's going on, and they all begin pushing the contaminated table back and out of the way. As the new table of food is in place, the people pushing it stop and rest for a bit, before heading to push the old table back through the door to safety.

Nathan stands in front of the new food table, and announces with a booming voice. "Due to a certain pigtailed child, and his accomplice, a man with a mask, the previous food table was contaminated! Oh no! But worry not, for we have planned for such an event. The Emergency Backup Food and Drink Table, or E. B. F. D. T., as I call it, is now serving all students! Remember, if you do anything to the food besides eat it, I'll break your legs. Or your arms, in situations where your legs cannot be broken easily! Enjoy!" He turns around, taking a cookie and eating it. Delicious.

Tyler, you are my favorite person right now. Matt grabs a soda and downs it instantly, thankful to finally have food. I assumed there would be food here, so I haven't eaten in hours. Matt grabs another soda and 2 slices of pizza and stops talking so he can eat.

Zwei frowns "Well no point in me sticking around...I hope people just forget about me being involved with this.". He decides to call it a night and heads back to his dorm and hope that he doesn’t get expelled. Keeping the illegal activity for OFF school grounds from now on.

Mao, seeing as the food was now replaced, quickly walked up and grabbed two platefuls of cookies and well as two cups of punch. Carefully balancing all his items, he walked back over to his table carefully. Well, at least I have food that I know hasn't been touched! Hopefully it holds me up for the rest of the night. He took a cookie and began nibbling on it.

Drake of course looks...confused. He eyes the food and then eyes Indigo and Matt seeming to dive in to feast literally. Then he shrugs, carefully taking a seat and bringing the bladed cloak around him, reaching out to see if he could get a piece of pizza away from the ravenous Indigo with one gloved hand.

"I guess I have to thank you again. Drake, for the record. You did well out there. Thank you for the food..."

Of course he eats much like he acts. Carefully, deliberately and quietly, glancing to Indigo and noting that she was still barefoot, in contrast to him still wearing armoured boots.

No Problem Drake, you did really good at initiation too, you really are a good leader. Anyway, whats your friends name? he said with a smile as he noticed the Food and Drink tables were replaced.

Indigo stuffs most of a slice of pizza into her mouth. Chewing slightly she says to Tyler "Mpph frleff Mhmmh!" She continues literally stuffing food into her mouth. More than what seemed humanly possible.

Sighing heavily, Aoife would rub her head and start walking back to her dorm, not saying any more words as grows more irritated by the second, placing her hand in her hair as she takes out the pin keeping her long plait hidden, it falling in a big, black streak.
